With the Animal Path forming hand seals, eight summoned beasts appeared: Hell Crab, Chameleon, Splitting Dog, Yata Crow, Rhino, Bull, Panda, and Centipede.
"Kazama, let me lend you a hand!" Seeing Nagato summon so many beasts, Jiraiya worried Kazama would be outnumbered. He performed his own Kuchiyose no Jutsu, summoning Gamabunta to aid Kazama.
But Jiraiya didn't know these were amplified summoned beasts. Not only would they not die when attacked, but they'd split and multiply, growing in number.
"Damn it! What's going on?" Seeing Gamabunta's attacks fail and the enemy beasts multiply, Jiraiya realized he'd made things worse and felt utterly embarrassed.
"Jiraiya-sama, just watch from the sidelines. I'll handle these summoned beasts!" Kazama said, charging toward the Hell Three-Headed Dog.
"Hmph! You, alone? Fine, let's see how you deal with my beasts!" Nagato, now enraged, couldn't accept that he, with the power of the Rinnegan's Six Paths, was being outdone by a teenage kid like Kazama. He relentlessly drove his beasts to attack, itching to tear Kazama apart.

"Perfect! This is what I've been waiting for. Nagato, your summoned beasts are impressive, but compared to mine, they're nothing!"

With Kazama's shout, four Mokuton clones appeared beside him.
"Kid, you think a few clones can take me on?" Nagato burst into laughter, convinced Kazama was doomed.
"Kazama, using clones now will only weaken you. Have you lost your mind?" Jiraiya, watching from below, couldn't fathom Kazama's move.
"I'm not the one losing it. It's the enemy who's about to be stunned. Hold on tight, everyone!"
"Come forth, Ichibi Shukaku!"
"Nibi Matatabi!"
"Sanbi Isobu!"
"Yonbi Son Goku!"
"Kurei Chika!"
"Yamata no Orochi!"
Kazama's four Mokuton clones transformed into the One-Tail through Four-Tails. Then, they summoned a colossal mountain turtle formed from Kurei Chika's flames. Finally, Kazama's true body transformed into the Yamata no Orochi.
