People on the ground saw how, at Azrath's command, the battle that had ceased momentarily resumed with full force. As much as everyone was overwhelmed with relief and joy that Princess Evelyn had returned to life, the harsh reality was still etched across their faces. They were all heavily exhausted from the relentless battle they had been fighting for so long.
Adding to that was another grim truth. They were at a severe disadvantage in numbers. The enemy forces continued to pour endlessly from the rifts, while their own forces were limited.
But seeing Evelyn and Ivan standing on their side, ready to fight, gave them the reassurance they needed to steel their resolve, to give everything they had, and to believe that this devastating battle would finally come to an end.
Soon, Alex roared, "For our prince and princess!"
