"Do you see it? This is Phoenix Nirvana! I can revive infinitely! Each rebirth will make me stronger than the last! Moreover…"
The Reincarnated Phoenix Man suddenly pointed toward the skeletal remains of the Ugly President and the dried corpse of Meow Meow lying on the ground.
Two smaller golden-red light pillars instantly descended from the sky, enveloping the two bodies with precision.
Under the stunned gazes of Fubuki, Mosquito Girl, and the others, the white bones swiftly grew flesh and blood anew. The Ugly President stood up again—his aura slightly weaker, yet still radiating that suffocating, Dragon-level menace.
Meow Meow's shriveled corpse also swelled and restored itself as if inflated. Its fur regained a glossy sheen, its eyes gleamed with a deeper, more feral cruelty, and it licked its paw with eerie calm.
"Hahahaha! Any companion illuminated by my Nirvana Sacred Flame will be reborn with my will!"
Phoenix Man spread his wings, arms open wide as if embracing divinity itself, laughing maniacally.
"Do you see it? This is the power of a god! What do you have to fight me with? What do you have to defy me?!"
The Ugly President twisted his newly restored, bloated frame, his greedy eyes locking onto Fubuki. A vile grin split his face.
"Hehehe… little beauty… you really hurt Uncle just now. Later, Uncle will make sure you feel that pain—tenfold, a hundredfold… Hehehehe…"
Meow Meow arched its back, its golden pupils narrowing on Mosquito Girl, the one who had humiliated it before. A low, guttural growl rumbled from its throat.
With infinite rebirth at their side, vengeance no longer felt like a dream.
The combined auras of the three Dragon-level monsters fused, pressing down upon Fubuki and the others with tangible, crushing weight.
Fubuki frowned, her expression darkening.
Infinite resurrection? And it even revives companions?
Such an ability was unheard of—an absolute nightmare.
Mosquito Girl hovered beside her, wings trembling with a shrill hum, blood-red eyes glinting with wariness. She braced herself for a desperate, drawn-out battle.
Do-S's face turned pale. Inside, she wailed, It's over! I'm really done for this time!
She wasn't foolish enough to think her captors would spare her out of pity. Within the Monster Association, there was one iron rule—failures who lost their value had no right to live.
Lily the Nunchaku and Black-Eyed Psykos huddled behind the psychic barrier Fubuki had erected. Dragon-level combat was far beyond anything they could endure.
Just as the three resurrected monsters reveled in their supposed triumph—
BOOM!!!
The entire world shook violently.
A crushing pressure—vast, ancient, and primal—descended as though the very birth of the universe had condensed into a single instant.
That unfathomable force instantly shattered the combined might of the three monsters. Their laughter died mid-breath.
Above M City, the thick storm clouds were ripped apart by an invisible hand, torn open like fragile curtains before a stage.
And from beyond the rift in the sky—
A colossal shadow descended.
It was a head.
The head of the 10,000-Meter Asura Giant.
Its faceplate gleamed with a dark, ominous sheen. Within the eye slits burned crimson-gold flames like molten lava. The mere gaze of that being sent a tremor through every living soul below.
Then came the voice—deep, resonant, godlike. Each word thundered as though spoken by the cosmos itself.
"Oh?"
"You dare… to touch my woman?"
"How do you…"
"...want to die?"
The words rolled like thunder across M City.
Phoenix Man's expression froze. His earlier arrogance crumbled into sheer terror.
What… what is this thing?! A head larger than a mountain?!
The Ugly President's disgusting grin stiffened on his pudgy face, his beady eyes wide with primal fear.
Meow Meow's fur bristled completely, every instinct screaming predator! as it crouched low, whimpering uncontrollably.
Silence fell.
The Giant's overwhelming aura froze the entire city—and with it, the three Dragon-level monsters who had moments ago been so smugly triumphant.
"Run!!!"
Facing the 10,000-Meter Asura Giant whose sheer presence suffocated the heavens, Phoenix Man had only one thought left.
He didn't even spare a glance at the Ugly President or Meow Meow beside him—nor at Great Eyes's mission.
"Buzz—!"
Space rippled like disturbed water.
In the next instant, Phoenix Man was gone—thrust into another world entirely.
Beneath his feet stretched a carpet of lush, green grass, soft as velvet and fragrant with dew. The air was fresh and sweet. The endless meadow rolled on to the horizon.
Above, a flawless blue sky shimmered, with puffy white clouds lazily drifting by. Warm sunlight poured down gently, wrapping everything in tranquil peace.
A breeze brushed his face, carrying the scent of wildflowers and something nostalgic, serene… almost sacred.
This was the Spirit Space, shared and connected by the Doll Costume Monsters—a peculiar dimension born from their collective obsession.
Only beings wearing doll costumes, or whose souls resonated with them, could enter this realm.
Completely isolated from the outside world.
Theoretically—absolutely safe.
"Huff… pant…"
The Reincarnated Phoenix Man collapsed onto the grass, panting heavily, his voice trembling with lingering terror.
"Too… too terrifying… What kind of monster was that?! It's simply… simply an unbeatable existence!"
As for his two companions, the Ugly President and Meow Meow…
"Hmph. If they die, they die! Two idiots—I've long found you annoying! Especially that fat pig with a mind full of lewd thoughts!"
He lay back, closing his eyes, inhaling the scent of the grass deeply.
"Good thing I have this trump card to save my life…"
But then—
"Crack!"
A subtle, yet piercingly clear sound split the tranquil air.
The Reincarnated Phoenix Man's eyes snapped open.
Above, the flawless azure sky—so calm, so perfect—had torn open with a hideous, jagged rift!
From it, a giant palm, veined with flowing dark light and intertwined with crimson-black lightning, forced its way into the doll costume space—his supposedly absolute sanctuary.
"No… impossible!!!" he screamed, his feathers bristling violently.
My perfect refuge… invaded?!
The sheer presence of the giant palm shook the entire Spirit Space. The sky and clouds twisted and tore violently, while the lush green lawn rippled and shattered like water struck by a boulder.
The world around him, once a haven of peace, began collapsing rapidly, centered on the single, monstrous hand. The fear that gripped him went deeper than even the thought of death.
Then—another massive palm appeared from the rift.
A sound like tearing fabric echoed as the sky itself split in two, revealing the enormous head of the 10,000-Meter Asura Giant, its ancient, ferocious faceplate burning with crimson-gold flames.
Its colossal, indifferent eyes—embodiments of cosmic law itself—fixed on the trembling golden bird-man lying helpless on the grass.
"Run?"
"Run… where?"
