Chapter 194 - Chapter 194: Head Templar Udith

"To capture him or not, I'll let Head Templar Udith decide." The last person within the group spoke slowly. Her female voice was gentle and soothing to the ears. Sitting on her mount, she looked down at the stunned boy below in curiosity, and empathy. Looking up at the last person to speak, the boy couldn't help but take in a deep breath, as his eyes made eye contact with the lady, who spoke with a gentle voice.

Her eyes seemed to see through his very being. The eye contact made him slightly afraid, yet after the feeling of fear subsided, he felt a sense of reverence and worship, to the deep green eyes that looked back at him. Looking at her eyes, he even felt like he was looking at the eyes of a wise and gentle god.

But he quickly snapped out of that feeling when the man who first spoke, came even closer to him. The buzzing wings of the insect that the man rode caused wind to constantly bear down on him. Making it hard for me to look up towards the man above, whose violent aura seemed to intensify by the minute.

"Run child! Run now!" The man spoke mightily at the child below him, before flying away from the child, towards the direction they came from. And with his flight, the others unwillingly followed the man from behind.

Left alone, the boy quickly got up from the ground, in confusion and fear of what just occurred, before making a desperate run further into the forest.

As the group of templars were flying away, the man with the violent aura spoke calmly to the people behind him. "He's the child of the priestess, so it is mandatory for us to either take him into custody or kill him. But alas, he is still only a child. Let him be from now on!"

"But Head Templar Udith, what if he wishes for revenge in the future? A child favored by our god will be a great enemy not only of the church, but also of our six cults!" The bald headed man spoke, in regret and anger.

"Then he will be a great enemy! Head Templar Makiet, let this matter rest!" Replied the man who was called Udith by the bald headed man.

After the head templar called Udith spoke, the rest quietly nodded their heads and followed him back into the forest in which they came from. Not a single one looked back at the boy they left behind.

As for the boy, after running for another 15 minutes, he fell to the ground in exhaustion. He then took another three minutes to catch his breath, before he sat up, with legs spread apart and looked at the old, worn out book that was held tightly by his right hand.
