Chapter 8 — The Guest Sought by the Namekian Race
Upon arriving on Planet Namek, Tachibana Kyūjō immediately activated his Infinity Perception system to its maximum range and began tracking the locations of Namek's Dragon Balls.
However, at that exact moment, a Namekian warrior of extraordinary strength was rapidly flying toward their spaceship.
Within Kyūjō's perception, that individual's power level was estimated to be between twenty and thirty thousand points.
That Namekian warrior was none other than Nail—the personal guardian of the Grand Elder Guru of Namek, and currently the strongest fighter on the entire planet.
Kyūjō naturally remembered Nail well. In the future timeline, Nail would fuse with Piccolo, forming a new existence known as a Super Namekian, whose power was even capable of suppressing Frieza in his second transformation.

Nail's arrival surprised Kyūjō slightly. As the Grand Elder's personal guard, Nail's presence almost certainly meant he was acting under direct orders.
After a brief moment of thought, Kyūjō immediately instructed all of his crew members to return inside the spaceship and strictly forbade them from wandering around Planet Namek.
He himself then flew alone into the sky, heading straight toward Nail, who was approaching from the front.
— — —
"Hello, Namekian. My name is Tachibana Kyūjō. I come from another planet," Kyūjō greeted him politely as he suddenly appeared before Nail.
"Hm?" Nail looked visibly surprised at the sight of the small child. His gaze lingered on the tail hanging behind Kyūjō, then on the boy's still-childish face…
Something felt off.
Wasn't the guest mentioned by the Grand Elder supposed to be… not a child? And the hair wasn't golden either…
Still, this child did resemble the description given by the Elder to some extent. They both had tails. Perhaps they were of the same race?
After hesitating for a moment, Nail finally spoke. "Greetings. I am Nail of Planet Namek. Did you come here alone? Or… did you come with your father, or perhaps your older brother?"
That question caught Kyūjō off guard. He gently shook his head before replying, "I came here with my crew. As for my father… he has already passed away. And I don't have an older brother."
Hearing that, Nail's expression softened with a hint of regret. "I'm sorry…"
He then continued, "In that case… would you mind letting me see your ship? Our Grand Elder asked me to receive a very special guest. I thought… perhaps that person might still be on your ship."
Kyūjō grew even more confused.
Could it be… that one of his subordinates had some incredible hidden background, to the point that the Grand Elder of Planet Namek personally sent Nail to retrieve them?
After thinking for a moment, Kyūjō nodded and did not refuse. He led Nail back toward the spaceship.
Once they arrived, Kyūjō summoned all crew members to gather on the main deck. When everyone had assembled, he turned to Nail and said, "Nail, everyone on this ship is here. Please check and see if the guest you're looking for is among them."
Even though Nail was already fairly certain that the person he sought was not present, he still carefully examined each crew member lined up on the deck.
A short while later, Nail let out a small sigh and slowly shook his head. He then said to Kyūjō, "I did not find the guest the Grand Elder mentioned. Still, thank you, Kyūjō. You are a good person. Planet Namek welcomes your arrival. However, we ask that you do not damage our environment… and most importantly, do not fight on this planet."
Kyūjō nodded and replied earnestly, "Nail, I won't hide my intentions. I came here to seek the Dragon Balls. But I will follow all the rules of Planet Namek. Once my wish is granted, I will leave. I won't do anything unnecessary."
Hearing this, Nail did not give any special reaction. After all, on Planet Namek, there was nothing that attracted outsiders more than the Dragon Balls.
Besides, the Namekian people were not opposed to outsiders using their Dragon Balls—as long as they were willing to follow the established procedures and gain the acknowledgment of all village elders.
If someone could not speak the Namekian language and had not been recognized by the elders, then even if they managed to gather all seven Dragon Balls, they would still be unable to summon Porunga.
Moreover, it had been many years since any beings from other planets had visited Namek.
Yet today felt… strange.
Could it be that, aside from this group, there was another group that had also arrived on Namek?
If not, then why had he failed to find the guest mentioned by the Grand Elder?
That doubt continued to swirl in Nail's mind.
On the other hand, Kyūjō seemed to notice the confusion on Nail's face as well. He began to wonder… just who exactly was the Grand Elder searching for?
Finally, Kyūjō asked, "Nail, what does the person the Grand Elder is looking for look like? Could you describe them to me? Maybe I can help."
Nail looked at Kyūjō's face, which bore some resemblance to the figure from the Elder's vision, and answered, "His face does look similar to yours. He also has a tail like yours. But… his body is much larger, and his hair is golden."
Those words instantly made Kyūjō's expression turn strange.
Similar to me… has a tail… and golden hair…
Wasn't that the defining feature of a Super Saiyan?
Could it be… that on Planet Vegeta, there was another Saiyan who looked like me and had already achieved the Super Saiyan transformation?
Impossible…
There was only one conclusion.
The guest the Grand Elder mentioned… was me!
Not the present me, but me in my Super Saiyan form. So… had the Grand Elder of Planet Namek seen my future?
Kyūjō's curiosity toward the Grand Elder grew even stronger.
What kind of future had he seen for me?
Aside from becoming a Super Saiyan… was there something more?
— — —
"Nail, it seems… the guest your Grand Elder mentioned really is me," Kyūjō said firmly, meeting Nail's gaze with absolute confidence.
However, Nail shook his head and explained, "Your faces are similar, yes. But your body size and hair color are far too different from that guest…"
Kyūjō simply let out a small laugh and replied, "Nail, do you know how old I am right now?"
"I'm four years old. Four! The form you're talking about… that's probably me in the future. When my hair turns golden, you might even see it with your own eyes."
"And I can guarantee you this—there's no other being who looks like me, has a tail, and can have golden hair. Unless… they dyed it!"
