James and Albert both grin and take out their weapons. They continued to chat more and insult each other, amongst other things, but eventually, they began to fight.
Albert charged in first and tried to direct his sword near James' vital; however, James easily dodged and parried Albert's attack. James then struck back and managed to knick Alberts garms before they reset their positions.
James thought of making it a little more fun and started using magic to make Albert do a double take on how strong James really is.
Albert didn't flinch at James sudden increase in power, but praised him for managing to get stronger, though he mentioned that it was for naught, as he himself had also had a large increase in his strength since they met last.
James thought of what Albert said as amusing and didn't take him seriously, and so they fought even more, taking blow after blow, while giving back the same, almost as if they were equally matched and just sparring. As the time passed and both of them started feeling a little fatigued, they eventually started bringing out their most powerful techniques and spells, just trying to finish the other off as fast as possible; however, to both of their surprise, every single thing that they threw at each other had very little to mild effects.
James began taking more and more damage as his defense began to dwindle, because Albert was substantially stronger than he thought he would be, along with the fatigue that his accumulated from the constant training his been subjecting himself to.

James' abilities weaken as his body is being pushed to its limit.
Albert takes the opportunity to take the upper hand and attempts to kill off James, as he gets weaker and weaker due to fatigue.
Moments before James is about to get hit by Albert's attack, Anya suddenly goes out of hiding and begins to help James a little.
James uses the opportunity Anya has given him and counters Albert. James uses the new magic and skills he acquired from the ancient demon that was eradicated from his body. James uses the skill 'Bloodwork' to infect Albert through some cuts that he has on his body, and due to this, Albert takes a large hit in power and general ability as James' skill somewhat quickly weakens Albert and causes him to lose most of his strength in a few trades of slow strikes.
James uses the fact that he made Albert weaker as a good way to cripple him, and ends up cutting off both his hands.
Albert breaks and screams due to the pain of having his hands sliced clean off, and he immediately falls to the floor, as he can't wield his sword, and his mind is in too much distress to use magic effectively against James.
