Some time later, as night fully arrived, Purple Death finally emerged from the cave.
Her steps were noticeably awkward, and she walked with a slight limp, her breathing still a little uneven.
Her usually composed expression had been replaced by one of deep embarrassment and irritation.
She paused at the entrance and glanced back toward the cave, toward the man sleeping soundly on the bed.
"…That shameless bastard."
Muttering under her breath, she adjusted her clothes and took a moment to compose herself.
Unfortunately, the faint blush lingering on her cheeks refused to disappear.
After taking a deep breath, Purple Death finally straightened her back and resumed walking, determined to recover at least some of her usual dignity before anyone noticed anything unusual.
Unfortunately for her, Shadow was already waiting nearby as it appeared the moment it sensed Purple Death was done.
But the moment its gaze landed on her awkward gait, its head tilted slightly in puzzlement.
