After Kaito finished explaining the potential of real-life techniques in Glory, his grandfather grew thoughtful. Based on Kaito's description, he concluded that only basic techniques—those that allowed the body to perform movements without requiring rare physical conditions—might be replicated in-game. Advanced techniques, with their strict physical requirements, would likely remain unusable.
As Kaito reorganized some datasets on his holo-tab with Kia's assistance, the others finished breakfast. Then, leaning back in his chair, he casually mentioned, "I've also been thinking about getting the ancestral branch of the Ren family into Glory."
The statement drew every eye in the room. His fourth aunt, third uncle, second uncle, father—and even his grandfather, who had been engrossed in his holo-tab—all looked up in surprise.
"You've all played enough to see it yourselves," Kaito continued. "This game is going to become something no one can even imagine right now. And I'm certain it'll be one of our most solid investments in the future. For that, I need as much trustworthy manpower as possible—and family is far more reliable than outsiders."
His grandfather studied him for a moment before replying, "Even if we agreed, I doubt you could convince them. My eldest brother follows the family policy to the letter. Unless we're in danger we can't handle, he won't move the family's forces. I know him well." The old man sighed after speaking.
"You don't have to worry about that, Grandpa," Kaito said, smiling faintly. "Leave the convincing to me. But if they hesitate, I want all of you to help push them over the line."
His grandfather gave a small shrug. "Fine. If you can pull it off, you'll have our support."
The others also nodded.
At that moment, Grandpa Gou, the family's butler, stepped in. "Young Master, there's a delivery in your name."
Kaito rose, straightened his clothes, and headed for the door. "Why don't you all come out? I've bought some gifts for you."
His parents exchanged glances. His grandmother chuckled. "What a good grandson I have."
Even his grandfather's smiled as he stood up. The entire family followed, including his cousins—Hiroto, Suzune, Kaede, Daichi, and Aika—who bolted ahead at the mention of gifts.
Outside, a massive RV gleamed in the sunlight, with three matte-black hover sedans lined up neatly behind it. The Velvion X-Class series hover sedans and the imposing Aetherion Titan LX RV were enough to make even the most seasoned eyes widen.
Kaito's grandfather smacked him lightly on the back of the head. "What have you done, spending so much on these, such a Prodigal our Ren family have?" Despite his scolding tone, his eyes sparkled as they lingered on the RV.
His third uncle was already circling the vehicle, itching to take the driver's seat.
Kaito then ignored them and went forward.
"These," Kaito announced, gesturing toward the lineup, "are for when we return to the ancestral estate. If I want to convince them, we'll do it in style—and with the kind of power they can see."
Kaito gestured proudly. "And with this RV, we can keep playing Glory even on the road — no helmets needed. It already has full-dive cabins installed."
"And this was all bought with money I earned myself," Kaito added with a smirk, glancing at his grandfather. "I didn't waste the family's funds."
"Yes, Father, you don't need to be angry," his second uncle chimed in.
Without missing a beat, his grandfather smacked his second uncle on the head. "Then why didn't you say so earlier? You let me scold my precious grandson for nothing!"
This time, Kaito's grandmother stepped in, swatting at her husband. "Stop your antics and let me see the gifts my grandson brought!"
Her remark drew laughter from everyone, and together they stepped inside the RV to take a look.
After that Packing began immediately. His third Uncle oversaw the arrangements for servants and guards, deciding to bring ten Rank 2 lower-stage family guards along with a number of maids and attendants. Rovan would remain behind to oversee the training of the family guards and to continue playing Glory.
Mei rin would handle the Genesis Studio, while Rovan managed the guard unit.
Kaito then returned to his room, gathering what he needed: his holo-tab, training suit, and a few of his martial arts scrolls. He then packed them into a case before making his way toward the family's potion's library. But instead of entering right away, he turned toward the family arsenal.
In the family's arsenal,
The Ren family's arsenal had undergone a complete transformation after the excavation of the ancient library ruins. Once a modest collection of serviceable arms, it now housed a full range of weapons spanning Rank 1 to Rank 7 in abundance. Beyond that, the higher grades grew increasingly scarce—only ten Rank 8 weapons and a mere three Rank 9 weapons rested within, each one radiating a pressure that could shake the will of lesser martial artists.
The higher the rank, the rarer the materials, and in this world such scarcity was a silent reminder of the power they now held. Yet that power was also a double-edged sword—if word of this stockpile ever slipped beyond the family's walls, it could spark a massacre. Even Platinum-grade families, towering at the very peak of authority, would not hesitate to strike for such a treasure trove.
Alongside these weapons were crates of rare forging materials, each one a treasure in its own right. There were ores infused with elemental properties, refined alloys long lost to modern smelters, and crystalline cores from ancient beasts—materials once thought extinct. Every ingot and shard had been carefully catalogued and stored in spirit-sealed vaults, waiting for the day they would be shaped into weapons worthy of standing among the arsenal's highest ranks. In the hands of a skilled blacksmith, these resources could birth artifacts that would alter the balance of power between families.
Feeling proud after fixing all this firmly in his mind, Kaito walked straight to the Rank 1 lower-grade section.
Although he had just broken through to Rank 1, his current body could only safely wield Rank 1 lower-grade weapons. Anything above that required more training and a stronger physique. To reach that point, he would rely on the Azure Thunder Meridian Art—a physical cultivation technique his grandfather had gifted to every direct descendant.
Those already practicing martial arts could begin cultivating it immediately, but Kaito had to wait until he reached Rank 1 before starting as The art required a body tempered to at least Rank 1 standards, and now that he met that requirement, he could train in it alongside his spiritual cultivation technique, the Sky Shatter Eternity Manual.
From his room, he had already gathered the scrolls for Azure Thunder Meridian Art, Sky Shatter Eternity Manual, the Windveil Steps footwork technique, and a basic sword skill. Now, from the arsenal, he selected a Rank 1 lower-grade sword that felt comfortable in his grip. He didn't bother spending much time choosing—he already had a special sword prepared for himself in another secured room, one he would claim once he was strong enough to wield it.
But for now, this would do. He would need it for his trip, because he remembered he would find another reason to convince the ancestral branch once he dealt with a danger lurking beside them. And taking care of it beforehand would then give him a solid reason to push forward with his plans.
Leaving the arsenal, Kaito made his way to the family's potion library.
The Ren family's potion library was no less astonishing than its arsenal, a treasure trove of alchemical wealth that could rival the reserves of top-tier families. Lining the crystal-lit shelves were at least a million vials of S-grade nutrient potions, the lowest grade stored within these halls, yet still far beyond what most families could ever hope to touch. Even the Verions it's sole producers won't have this much stock of the S-grade potion let alone others.
In addition, the collection boasted over 100,000 EX-grade potions and a precious reserve of 1,000 Mythic-grade potions, each radiating a faint aura of potency. And this was only the beginning. Beyond nutrient blends, the library contained a staggering variety—over a million vials of other high-grade concoctions, their sheer diversity so overwhelming that Kia had personally begun cataloguing and naming them, cross-referencing every formula with the vast potion encyclopedias uncovered alongside the ruins.
These potions spanned an incredible spectrum: rare elixirs for mending the gravest wounds, antidotes for poisons unseen for centuries, enhancers that could temporarily elevate combat ability, and—most prized of all—breakthrough elixirs capable of propelling a martial artist through a major bottleneck in their cultivation. In the right hands, even a single vial from this collection could alter the fate of a family.
Right now, he planned to take valuable resources that could help raise the strength of the ancestral branch. Without hesitation, he packed 1,000 vials of S-grade potions, 100 vials of EX-grade potions, and 10 vials of Mythic-grade potions—the latter intended mostly for his granduncles, to boost the ancestral branch's highest martial power.
These were treasures excavated from the ancient library ruins. His grandfather had already distributed 100 Mythic-grade vials to each direct descendant, yet more than 1,000 still remained. His grandmother, however, hadn't stopped researching potions, working both in Glory and in reality. She had started small, refining formulas discovered in the ruins, such as the Rank 1 lower-grade Hemostatic Powder for external wounds and a Rank 1 mid-grade internal injury medicine—a medicine previously only possible using expensive, high-grade nutrition cabins reserved for high-ranking elites.
Through in-game practice, she had already reached the level to refine Rank 1 mid-grade potions, and if she continued, she could climb even higher.
He then also took a portion of the Hemostatic Powder, just in case he needs it.
