Sunny sat back on his high throne, the tension of the last few hours draining away.
He had spent a considerable amount of time agonizing over the workings, behind the Avatar Protocol.
And then, the idea struck him. It wasn't Sci-fi or entirely magical.... It was a dream.
"It doesn't need to be a complex spell," Sunny mused, his eyes gleaming with the thrill of invention. "It just needs to be a bridge that let the Gods control mortal bodies."
He raised his hand, activating his Manifestation Affinity. He created something delicate. He pulled threads of soul essence and wove them with the starlight of his own domain.
The material coalesced, shrinking and hardening until a small, gem like object floated above his palm.
Since the purpose of this artifact was the pursuit of love, Sunny chose the most universally recognized shape for such things.
A heart.
