The Fallen in the Den
Terion in shock,
"Who are them?"
Roven uneasy,
"What happened here?"
Their breaths tightened as the dim light revealed four bodies—one man kneeling, chest heaving, eyes fixed on the exit as if something terrifying had just left him. Three others lay scattered around him, barely clinging to consciousness.
As Terion's group stepped closer, the camera drifted around the kneeling figure… revealing Querion.
Before anyone could react—
THUD.
Querion collapsed face-down, unconscious.
The hall fell silent.
Then—
The screen washed into a wave of white.
Before the Fall
A few hours earlier…
Shammroy, Kaizer, Querion, and Ferin stood at the entrance of the same den—unaware of what awaited them inside.
Shammroy calm, teaching,
"Forgot to tell you, Kaizer. Traveling with me… comes with hurdles and danger. Be ready."
Querion pale comedy,
"Again, same words."
He clapped once, sarcastically impressed.
Querion mock admiration,
"Superb, leader. Same place, same type of situation, same dialogue you told me when we met. And now to him. Superb."
Shammroy scratched his head, chuckling awkwardly.
Ferin squinted at him.
Ferin annoyed curiosity,
"Why didn't you tell me this?"
Shammroy,
"Didn't I? Might've forgotten. When we claimed you in our legion on your planet, we faced too many consequences. Maybe that's why I forgot?"
Ferin sighed.
Ferin resigned,
"Yeah… true."
Querion,
"The time will pass if we talk like this forever."
Kaizer,
"Yeah."
Ferin,
"Let's march then."
A Story Left Untold
As they stepped deeper into the den, Kaizer walked beside Shammroy.
Kaizer,
"Master, tell me what happened on Ferin's motherland."
Shammroy,
"It's long and short… and exhausting. Another time."
After a moment, Shammroy turned back to Ferin.
Shammroy,
"Forgot to ask—Ferin, if I didn't tell you that dialogue… would you not have joined my legion?"
Ferin thinking,
"No, not like that. It makes sense for you to say it. From the day we met, everything has been unpredictable. So it fits. I just asked because… if you told me, I would've been guarded. Like Querion."
Querion nodded approvingly.
Querion,
"Yeah. True."
The four walked with light hearts, warmth between them.
But that warmth didn't last long.
Clash With the Unkind
The den trembled—
A swarm of unkind creatures leapt from the shadows.
Shammroy and his crew drew into formation instantly.
Shammroy's bare hands shattered bones like stone.
Kaizer's katana sliced through necks with sharp precision.
Ferin's fists crackled with green demonic lightning, every punch lighting up the darkness.
Querion spun his half-spear, half-blade weapon—tearing through creatures like ripping pages apart.
The battle shook the cave.
The floor was littered with corpses.
Breathing hard, exhausted but standing, they pushed forward…
Until the path split in two.
Shammroy commanding,
"Querion and Kaizer—take that side. Ferin and I will march this way."
Everyone nodded and split.
But danger returned even stronger.
Creatures of Tenfold StrengthMonsters—ten times larger, faster, and vicious—rushed from both sides of the paths.
Querion alert, tense,
"What should we do?"
Shammroy smirked, eyes sharpening like blades.
Shammroy deadly command,
"Show them what we've got."
His tone darkened.
Shammroy lserious, killer intent,
"There is no limit to your power. Become who you truly are. Slaughter all of them."
Querion and Ferin smirked—
then both charged with explosive force.
Attacks flourished in the chaos:
Querion spun, cutting through massive limbs.
Kaizer's blade drew trails of wind as he moved.
Ferin's blows ripped the air with green lightning explosions.
Shammroy grabbed creatures mid-leap and crushed their skulls barehanded.
But Querion suddenly found himself surrounded.
A whole cluster of monsters charged toward him.
Kaizer noticed—eyes widening.
He tried to rush, but he too was surrounded.
He closed his eyes, recalling Shammroy's words:
Shammroy's voice,
"Yes. In close combat, dodging is easy to you—predicting your move is hard.
But when you try to escape from a short distance, you give the opponent time to predict you."
Shammroy's voice, sharper
"To fix it—make them believe you'll take the path they predict.
Choose two probabilities… pick one…
Then go the opposite way that you pick.
That's how you win. That's how you lure your enemy."
Kaizer inhaled.
And then—
He executed it flawlessly.
He faked left, chose right in his mind—
and dashed the other way.
The monsters were fooled—left slashing empty air.
Kaizer vanished through the gap and cut through all of them in a single blazing sweep.
He stopped the monsters heading toward Querion.
Querion turned, stunned but proud.
Querion proud smile,
"You made it, pal."
They bumped fists, a perfect dap echoing.
Kaizer relieved,
"Yes… I made it."
Ferin Unleashed
On the other side—
Ferin grabbed a giant creature by the neck.
Green lightning burst from his arm and exploded through the creature's body.
Shammroy raised an eyebrow.
Shammroy teasing,
"Oye—why are you so enraged?"
Ferin,
"Am I?"
Shammroy,
"Fool. I wanted to give the final blow."
Ferin,
"Sorry, captain."
Shammroy smirking,
"Whatever. You seem leveled up."
Ferin looked at his glowing fist, surprised at his own strength,
" Is it?"
Shammroy held out his hand—
A powerful dap echoed through the cavern.
The Pale Eyes in the Dark
The four reunited in a massive hall—
Dark.
Silent.
Smelling of dust, metal, and death.
A faint pale glow emerged from the shadows.
??? mocking, playful danger,
"You got this far. Proud of that… kids."
Querion and Ferin tightened their grips—
waiting for Shammroy's order.
The glow stepped forward—
revealing the face.
The same man who haunted Episode 70.
The corrupt professor.
The monster who once tried to kill a young Kaizer.
His eyes shimmered with pale madness.
And then—
