A few weeks later
- And of course I got F's in like everything, I said.
- But at least I got summer vacation now, I said and ran home. As soon as I came home I went to see if I had anything to eat and of course the only thing I had at home was a super old sandwich. At this point it has to be rotten and of course I don't have any money, I thought. In Magic City every student gets paid a certain amount of money depending on their class at the end of the month. The higher class you are, the more you get paid. I get paid 15 000 yen per month. Luckily, things in Magic City are quite cheap. It's the 29th of June today so I am getting my money in one day, I thought. After I thought that I heard something from my balcony.
- What was that? I asked. I went to my balcony and looked what it was. I thought it was one of my neighbors but when I looked I saw it was a small girl who couldn't be older than 12. She had light blue hair and eyes. Her skin was as white as snow. She had white modified nun's clothes, a white nun's hat with light blue metal band and a white mantle with light blue embroidery at the edges. In her right arm she held in a white staff that had a circle with an ice cube in the middle.
- I'm hungry, said the girl.
- Um if you come in you can eat this sandwich if you want, I said. When we came in, I noticed that it was a lot colder around her.
- Give me the sandwich, she said and took it from me and ate it.
- And what is your name? I asked her.
- Oh where are my manners? I am one of the Guardian Angels The Frozen Angel but my Japanese name is Aimi so you can call me Aimi, she said.
- Wait… So you are a Guardian Angel, I asked and pointed at her. She nodded to my question.
- Wait… What! I screamed. Guardian angels are creatures that the Creator of this world created to protect the Humans against the demons. He created them after the first humans came to this planet. Each time they die they reincarnate into a new body. Although except the fact that they reincarnate each time they die they are mostly just normal humans. But since they have lived so many lives they are much stronger than a normal human. Right now there are only 4 Guardian Angels.
- Wait, why did you say your Japanese name? I asked.
- Guardian Angels got names from every language, answered Aimi.
- A name to each language, I whispered to myself. After I said that she froze.
- He's here, Aimi said and ran out. Who? Who is here? I wondered and ran after her. When I got out I saw a big man with red hair that was styled on both sides and red eyes. He had a black open leather jacket over a grey shirt and black jeans.
- There you are, it's time for you to die, said the man.
- Fire Arrows, said the man and shot multiple arrows made of fire towards Aimi. When Aimi saw that she said "Not a chance Taiyo."
- Icicle Wall, said Aimi and created a wall made of ice in front of her and stopped the fire arrows which created a bunch of smoke. After the smoke disappeared I saw that the ice wall was gone and that Aimi was coughing a lot.
- Single Fire Arrow, screamed the man called Taiyo and shot a single arrow made of fire. If I don't do anything here she will die, I thought and stood in front of her and said "Not going to happen" and stretched my right hand in front of me and stopped his magic.
- Wait… Magic Breaker, Taiyo said in shock. I jumped up to him in his chock and tried to punch him but before I punched him he came out of his chock.
- Heat Up, screamed Taiyo and a lot of wind came and pushed me into Aimi. His hair and eyes became dark blue.
- Ao, said Aimi and I answered "sorry."
- Move, said Aimi and pointed with her staff towards Taiyo.
- Freezing Shot, she said and shot three ice spears towards Taiyo but the spears couldn't touch him.
- Oh no, said Aimi.
- Let the fire in me spread out and become the world's strongest fire! Blazing fire, screamed Taiyo and shot a blue fire towards us but I stretched out my arm to stop the fire but when it touched the fire it didn't stop it, just prevented it.
- Wait what, I screamed. I thought it could stop any magic.
- Aimi quickly do something, I screamed to Aimi. The heat from the fire was really overwhelming. It was easily the hottest fire I had ever been close to.
- Icicle…, said Aimi before someone asked "what are you doing?" When they heard that both of them froze.
- Oh shit, it's doc, said Taiyo and removed the fire.
- What are you doing here? asked Aimi, looking nervous. I looked towards the voice and saw an old man wearing a doctor robe. He was bald and had golden colored eyes.
- That's my question, said the doctor.
- I, said Taiyo before he lost consciousness.
- Aimi help Taiyo to the car, said the doctor. He looked at me and walked up to me and said "I'm sorry over what those two have done. I will pay for any damages that happened during the battle."
- It's fine. Don't think they actually did any damage to the apartment, I said.
- Is it okay if you follow me to the hospital? the doctor asked.
- Why? I asked.
- Just want to talk to you about a few things, said the doctor.
- If you don't want me to tell anyone about what happened here I won't tell anyone, I said.
- No, I don't care if you tell anyone, said the Doctor
-Ok, fine, I said. After that he took me to the hospital.
At the hospital
- So who is the red haired man? I asked the doctor.
- He? He is Taiyo, the Blazing Angel, said the doctor.
- Wait, so he is also a Guardian Angel? I asked.
- Yeah he is, said the doctor. What are the chances of meeting two out of the four Guardian Angels? I thought.
- So who are you? I asked expecting him to say that he also was one of the Guardian Angels.
- Me? I am the Creator of this universe, the doctor answered.
- Wait what! I screamed in shock.
- No I'm not. I'm just a doctor, said the doctor.
- Ok, good to hear. You were giving me a heart attack, I said.
- If I were the Creator they wouldn't even have started fighting, said the doctor
- Why wouldn't they even have started fighting if you were the Creator? I asked confusingly.
- Well one is because they respect him a lot and two is because they would have been sent to the demon planet for the rest of this life, said the doctor.
- Wait, wouldn't that leave us vulnerable to the demons? I asked.
- No it wouldn't. The demons would never attack this planet at the same time as the Creator is on it, said the doctor.
- Why wouldn't they attack this planet while the Creator is here? I asked.
- Well because they wouldn't be able to send enough soldiers to actually take him down and even if they did he would just send the Guardian Angels to the Demons planet, said the doctor.
- So you mean to say that he is so strong that he could take on almost the whole demon army? I asked.
- Yeah pretty much, said the doctor.
- Okay and what do you mean by The Demons Planet? I asked.
- The Demons live on a planet about the same size as earth about 140 billion light years away, said the doctor.
- Wait, isn't that longer than the observable universe? I asked.
- Yes, that's why they can only come here from someone summoning one or through teleportation but since the only one that can teleport someone that far is the Creator they can only come through summoning, said the doctor. Then he continued with "this universe is about 160 billion light years across."
- Yeah that's insane, I said.
- By the way, what's your name? asked the doctor.
- My name is Kenji Fuji, I said.
- Ok so Kenji Fuji now got Magic Breaker, whispered the doctor to himself.
- What did you say? I asked.
- Nothing, said the doctor.
- And by the way, Taiyo mentioned something about Magic Breaker? What's that? I asked.
- Magic Breaker? Magic Breaker is what allows your right arm to stop magic, said the doctor. "Magic Breaker can stop almost all magic as long as it touches the magic."
- Så is Magic Breaker some kind of magic? I asked.
- No, it's not a kind of magic, said the doctor. If it's not a kind of Magic then what is it, I thought.
- Okay! Do you want anything else? I asked.
- Yeah, one thing, answered the doctor.
Twente minutes later.
Me, Taiyo and Aimi stood outside a lab. There were multiple other labs here too.
- Seems like we got here in time before this lab got attacked, said Taiyo.
- What do you mean by before this lab got attacked? I asked Taiyo. He looked at me and asked "Didn't the doctor tell you anything about why we are here?"
- He just told me that there were something here that he wanted us to get, I answered.
- So he didn't want you to know much, said Aimi. Taiyo looked towards the lab and said "Seems like that. Should we go in now?"
- Yeah sure, Taiyo just remembered to be silent this time, said Aimi and walked in. Taiyo looked angrily towards Aimi and screamed "Last time it was you that weren't silent."
We looked around in the building for about an hour.
- Seems like this was the wrong lab, said Taiyo. "Like I said. We should have gone with the one I said we should have gone with." Aimi looked at Taiyo and told him to shut up.
- Seems like it, she said.
- Aren't you done soon Ogawa? asked someone a few rooms away. We walked towards the door to the room. Inside the room there was a giant computer. Who needs such a big computer? I thought. In front of the computer was a scientist and a soldier. The soldier held a gun.
- It will take some time so wait, said the scientist.
- Why does it take so much time? the soldier asked.
- Well it will take less time if you shut up Hara, answered the scientist.
- What even is on the file you're trying to download? asked the soldier called Hara.
- Sorry but that's restricted information, said the scientist who probably was called Ogawa.
- Freezing Shot, said Aimi and shot the ice spears towards the computer which destroyed it. Ogawa looked at the screen in shock. He turned around and when he saw Aimi he said angrily "Oh of course you are here, is Taiyo here too?"
- Yeah absolutely, said Taiyo and walked into the room.
- Be careful so you don't start fighting each other, said Ogawa. The soldier started shooting Taiyo and Aimi but when the bullets came close to Taiyo the bullets burned up and when they came close to Aimi they froze. Yeah I'm not getting involved here, I thought. I did not know that the bullets would burn up and get frozen when they got close to the Guardian Angels. Must be one of their abilities.
- Oh shit, said Hara.
- Flamethrower, said Taiyo and shot a lot of fire towards Hara. He jumped away from the fire.
- Hara, what are you doing? Just take the drug, said Ogawa. Hara took out a pill from one of his pockets and ate it. As soon as he swallowed it, his right side started burning and forming into lava meanwhile his left side became water. What the heck is that? I thought. Hara roared like a monster on steroids. He threw his right lava arm towards Aimi which extended. Yeah sorry, I'm not getting involved with this, I thought. Taiyo stood in front of Aimi and took the lava and it seemed like the lava didn't affect him. Ogawa tried to escape through another door so I followed him. Once I had caught up with him I punched him in the face. He dropped a USB that he was holding after I punched him.
- Aoh, what the fuck? he screamed with surprise. "There were another person with them?"
- Well yes, I answered. That's probably what they want to have, I thought and looked at the USB. I tried to run towards the USB but when I got past Ogawa he took my shirt and threw me towards him and punched me in the stomach and then threw me to the other side of the room.
- If you want to have that USB you will need to beat me up first, he said.
- I only need to beat you up? Easy, I said. Right now I got one small little problem and that is that, ehm… I don't know how to fight. I started running towards Ogawa and when I got close to him I tried to punch him but he avoided. After he avoided my punch I felt something sharp in my stomach.
- Sorry but don't bring a fist to a knife fight, said Ogawa and kicked me away. I looked at him shocked and then I fainted.
