Chapter 468 - Chapter 467

Chapter 467: Divine Punishment

This small deserted island was currently piled with various things. From a distance, it looked as chaotic as a garbage dump.

"I'll take the entire island to meet you in the West Blue."

Brett was speaking with someone. "Going straight forward, we shouldn't miss each other."

When he ended the call, Zephyr walked over. "Everything that could be moved has been brought onto the island."

"Good."

Brett put away the Den Den Mushi. He slowly exhaled. "Then, now it's my time to perform."

"I'm counting on you."

Zephyr said solemnly.

Smiling at Zephyr, the next instant Brett's body shot upward. When he leaped into midair, his body expanded and elongated, directly transforming into a fiery red divine dragon soaring through the sky.

"Hey, what's this guy trying to do?"

Aokiji, bound tightly and squatting together with other Fish-Man Navy who'd originally escaped then been recaptured, said curiously. "Could it be..."

The divine dragon summoned clouds.

Countless clouds dispersed in all directions.

Cloud after cloud scattered toward the island's edges, then entered the sea, encircling the entire island and beginning to connect with each other. They even penetrated the seabed, tearing through soil, shattering rock.

The entire island began trembling.

"Ara ara, this is really too reckless!"

Little Aokiji laughed heartily. "But he can actually do such things? Truly remarkable!"

Beside him, Akainu lying on the ground looked even more grim.

Leaving this quickly, the Navy would have absolutely no time to arrive.

The only one who could possibly rush over quickly was that Borsalino guy. But even if that guy came now, what use would it be?

With Brett here, he similarly couldn't do anything.

So the only result this time was forcing them to change bases?

Akainu bit his teeth unwillingly.

In violent trembling, the island slowly rose into the air. The seawater shook violently. Large amounts of soil and rubble fell downward.

This nameless island flew into the sky.

"What remarkable power!"

Miss Ain standing beside Zephyr looked down, overlooking the azure sea and exclaimed. "To actually make such a heavy island fly into the sky!"

"Truly outrageous."

Aokiji also exclaimed. "Though this island is small, it's still a proper island. Even that Kaido guy couldn't do such things, right?"

Akainu kept a stern face without speaking.

Nonsense. Of course Kaido couldn't do it.

Brett was stronger than Kaido. Akainu understood this very clearly, after all, he was defeated by Brett.

Controlling this island to fly into the sky, Brett determined the direction, then manipulated the clouds to advance in a certain direction.

Leave this sea area first, then plan what to do next.

The island flew into the sky, then resolutely flew toward a certain direction.

The speed wasn't fast. When Brett was alone, he could naturally fly rapidly with sparks and lightning all the way. But bringing along an island was completely different.

Even if Golden Lion-senpai used his invincible Float-Float Fruit, he couldn't make an island rush like the wind.

Brett transformed into dragon-human form and descended back onto the island.

"With my stamina, I should be able to persist until our destination."

Brett said this.

This was much more strenuous than Golden Lion-senpai.

Similarly bringing an island into the sky, Golden Lion-senpai only needed to touch it to remove the island's entire gravity, then could manipulate it however he wanted.

But Brett was literally hauling the entire island into the sky, using brute force.

Though flame clouds themselves possessed levitation characteristics, this still wasn't an easy matter.

"Thank you for your hard work."

Miss Ain handed over a piece of bread. "Anyway, eat something first."

"Thanks."

Brett wasn't polite. "I came in such a hurry I didn't eat anything."

Woken in the middle of the night by a phone call, then rushing over.

While chewing bread, Brett manipulated the island to fly according to the established direction.

Though they'd successfully left now, the ominous premonition never faded.

Damn it. If he'd known, he should've asked Shyarly to divine before departing.

Though victory's outcome was already determined, who knew what sacrifices lay on the path toward victory?

Brett didn't know.

He was merely vigilant now. Crisis could arrive at any moment.

Somewhere in the sky, a certain colossus was flying forward at jaw-dropping speed. But strangely, this flight that should bring enormous commotion was currently incredibly quiet. Even the surrounding clouds didn't scatter because of it.

Inside this colossus, a certain tall and mysterious figure looked at the screen before them.

Then a voice sounded. "Found you."

Then this colossus suddenly changed direction, flying swiftly toward another direction.

"Mm!"

Almost simultaneously, Brett here already sensed it.

"Brett?"

Zephyr noticed Brett's abnormality. He'd almost never seen Brett so panicked.

Cold sweat already covered his forehead in an instant.

"Damn it!!"

Even Brett couldn't help cursing now.

His Observation Haki was released to maximum degree at all times, maintaining vigilance. He occasionally foresaw the future for warning.

And now, while foreseeing the future, he saw a future he absolutely didn't want to see.

"Everyone hold on tight!"

Brett shouted loudly. He took a deep breath. His chest rose high. More clouds were released by him, wrapping everyone up.

The flame clouds suddenly tightened around the entire island. The island's forward momentum abruptly stopped.

Fortunately Brett had already released flame clouds to wrap everyone. Otherwise, who knows how many people would've flown into the sky from just this.

Almost the same moment, a distant light beam swept past from the island's front, disappearing into the sky's depths in an instant.

Though only a momentary flash, that blinding radiance still made everyone unable to open their eyes. That scorching temperature even caused some flammable items to begin burning.

"What was that?!"

Aokiji felt like he was about to melt into water. He couldn't help screaming.

"It really came!"

Zephyr clenched his teeth. "Damn it! This is the first time I wished the World Government wouldn't be so decisive!"

"Saying anything now is useless, isn't it?"

Brett took a deep breath and turned to look in the direction the light shot from.

The sky in that direction had rolling clouds. In the constantly churning mist, a certain colossus appeared and disappeared. Its specific appearance wasn't clear. Only a vague black shadow could be seen.

"What we're facing now is the so-called Divine Punishment!"
