Chapter 46 - A Wish

Time to see the aftermath of the ending of S3.

There is gonna be a lot of info dumping in this chapter.

__________________________________________________________

Everyone was frozen in shock and horror, having just witnessed Miwa getting suddenly erased in front of them.

"Miwa?!" shouted MK, rushing over to the spot she had just been sitting at.

Wukong and Macaque were still in shock, unable to believe what had just happened.

"What happened to her?" Tang asked in a panic.

"Where did she go?" Sandy questioned.

Redson slowly walked over and touched the scorch ground. "It's like she just got struck by a laser beam of some sort."

"But why only just her?" Mei asked.

Ne Zha joined the gang but was just as puzzled by this situation. "This is something completely unknown to me. This doesn't seem like anything I have ever seen."

Macaque turned his glance up towards the sky, narrowing his eyes wit ha low growl. "So this was your plan all along."

"You knew this would happen!" Wukong leaped at Macaque and slammed him into a rock. "I should have known you would be behind this! What I can't believe is you would let our kid die!"

"I-Is this true? You knew?" MK hesitated as he asked.

"I knew we couldn't trust him. This was all a trap to kill Miwa when our guards were now." said Pigsy.

"How could you? She was your daughter, and you were this heartless to take her life!" shouted Mei.

Macaque struggled against Wukong's grip which only tighten around his throat. "I-I never planned for this to h-h-happen! Those damn stars are to blame for it!"

"Don't think you can lie your way out of this one. You are the reason Miwa is... is dead. Not some stupid stars that you are claiming did it!" Wukong threw Macaque across the ground.

"Huh?" MK noticed a piece of paper falling out from under Macaque's scarf, and slowly went and picked it up to see what it was.

Wukong charged towards Macaque ready to take him out like he did once more.

Macaque jumped out of the way and summoned his staff. "Tsk, I should have known you wouldn't listen. You never do!"

"Guys wait!" shouted MK, throwing his arms in the air. "I found a note that looks to be from Miwa to Macaque!"

Everyone turned to look over at MK and the note he was holding.

"A note?" Macaque raised a questionable eyebrow.

Wukong and he looked at each other, before letting MK walk over and hand the note to Macaque.

Curious what this kind of note was that Miwa had left for him that he hadn't even noticed, he folded it out but his mood changed by the content in it by his eyes narrowing.

"Well, what does it say?" Wukong asked crossing his arms. But couldn't understand why Miwa would leave a note for him of all people.

"This isn't from Miwa." said Macaque.

"Uuh, I'm pretty sure it is. I mean, it has her name right on the back of the note." MK pointed out.

"I'm surprised he never noticed it, let alone how it hasn't been destroyed after everything that has happened." Mei whispered.

"It's from the wishing star known as Red Star... they were the one who granted my wish so long ago." Macaque explained.

"Wait, did you say Wishing Star?!" Tang jumped in joy and quickly went and grabbed the book he had about the Wishing Stars, though it wasn't much.

"Wishing Star? What in the world is that?" Wukong asked.

"A Wishing Star is one of four colorful stars in the sky—" Tang began explaining before being cut off.

"Colorful? But all of them looks normal to me." said Pigsy looking up at the sky. "And the sun is still up."

"There is an error in that book. It's not four but five stars. I'm guessing it was written by someone who at the time made a wish but only could see four out of five." Macaque said.

"And how do you know that?" Mei asked.

"Because I can see them, since I made a wish and they granted it." Macaque explained.

"So only those who got their wish granted can see them?" Redson asked.

"That and another Wishing Star or even Buddha himself. At least, that's what it says in this book." Tang pointed out.

"Then that means..." MK gasps. "Miwa was your wish?!"

Wukong and the others looked over at Macaque as he crossed his arms while avoiding eye contact. "...Yes."

"Okay, so the person who actually wrote that note was the Wishing Star, Red who granted your wish." Mei leaned over. "Then what did they write?"

"..." Macaque stayed quiet for a few minutes then let out a sigh.

"Hello, Macaque,

If you are reading this, then it means that Miwa has been erased from this world. I'm sorry I couldn't protect her, I did everything I could with the limited powers I had while connected to her.

For you and everyone else dear to her that might have been involved, I'm sure you are all mourning her death. I'm writing this message since a Wishing Star like myself, cannot interact with any people when taking the form of a wish. Unless for very few situations.

This was the only way for me to give you this info as this is something very lost to time. And you wouldn't be able to find this information anywhere else, but from a Wishing Star themself.

There is a way to bring back Miwa, a forced wish.

A forced wish is different than a normal wish. By going to the place known as The First Star, you can summon me there and make a forced wish. As it would make me grant a previous or dead wish even against my own will. But you can only do this once.

To find the place you will need a map, a star map to be precise. You should be able to find it in the Megapolis Library."

"A forced wish?" MK raised an eyebrow.

Tang began looking through his book and a few scrolls. "I don't see anything about a forced wish."

"How can we even be sure we can trust this Red Star?" Wukong asked skeptically, side glancing Macaque.

"I've met the other Wishing Stars, and while they enjoy playing puppeteers they never tell a lie." said Macaque taking another look at the note. "And Red Star was connected with Miwa up until now, so this is the best we got."

"Wait, you met the other Wishing Stars?!" Tang quickly jumped in front of his face.

Macaque slowly shoved Tang away with his tail. "Yes, they were the ones that gave me that star dagger to stab Miwa with. And they were helping Lady Bone Demon."

"Is it just me, or does these guys really like naming things with 'star' in them?" Mei questioned.

"Then how can we trust this one, when the others clearly didn't mind helping her!" Pigsy questioned.

Wukong looked at everyone then over at the note in Macaque's hand. The thought of being able to bring Miwa back, even if just with a slip of hope.

"Then let's go and find that star map, when we summon this Red Star we can ask them ourselves." said MK, determined to bring back Miwa no matter what.

"Yeah! Let's go and bring back Miwa." said Mei raising a fist into the air.

Pigsy gave a sigh, shaking his head. "Looks like we are on to another adventure."

"I'll go and get the T.E.A. ready for the drive." said Sandy walking over to his van with Mo on his shoulder.

"Meeting an actual Wishing Star in person, how exciting." said Tang going on to pack his stuff.

"While I would love to join you all, I'm gonna have to side line this one. Seeing that you guys seem all good." said Redson, snapping his fingers and teleported away.

"I have to return to the Celestial Realm myself. But I'll wish you guys good luck, should you be able to bring her back... But bringing back someone from the dead is not a wise decision." said Ne Zha, glancing over at Macaque before he also left.

"This better not be a trick." Wukong glared over at Macaque. "Otherwise I'll never forgive you."

"Whatever you say Wukong." Macaque disappeared into the shadows.

The gang got in the van and headed towards Megapolis City that was half destroyed.

*At Megapolis Library.*

"How are we supposed to find a map in all of this mess?!" shoute Pigsy, his voice echoing through the hallways of the destroyed library with every book, scrolls and maps laying on the floor.

"He's got a point, we don't even know what the map looks like." said Mei looking through some scrolls.

"Well, since it's related to the Wishing Stars, maybe it's like a star map or constellation looking map?" Tang suggested.

"I'm sure we will find it guys. Oh, look maybe this is the map." Sandy picked up a map on the floor only for the illustrations on it became alive and were making him dizzy.

Wukong and Macaque went through every map they could find on the floor, but none of them mentioned anything about the place they were looking for.

"Don't lose hope guys. We just gonna have to search harder. I know we'll find it." said MK, picking up random stuff on the floor and throwing it away when he didn't find what he was looking for.

Wukong picked up a book and looked through the pages in it, letting out a sigh and throwing it away. "Once more I was unable to protect her. And I even promised I would keep her safe this time from any danger."

"I should have paid more attention. Watched the sky for those fuckers, then Miwa might still be here." Macaque picked up a map, but once again it wasn't the right one.

MK let out a exhausted sigh and leaned back on a chair, looking up at the ceiling when a small glint caught his attention. "Huh, what's that?"

"You found something MK?" Mei asked, dropping another scroll.

"Maybe." MK used his golden vision and saw something hanging from the ceiling, in the shape of a circle with five stars inside it.

He transforms into a bird and flew up, grabbing it with his talons and brought it back down.

"A dreamcatcher?" Pigsy questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"What is a dreamcatcher doing in a library?" Tang asked.

MK took a closer look at it and touched the star in the middle, which seemed to active it as the five stars inside the dreamcatcher formed a holographic map.

"This must be the map Red talked about." said Mei with big eyes in amazement.

"Well, I never thought a random dreamcatcher could be a map. Nice going bud." said Wukong patting MK's back.

"By the look on this map, it seems like the First Star spot is only three days from here." Macaque pointed out when taking a look at the map.

"Then what are we waiting for? We have the map and now know the location." said MK with a bright smile.

"Leggo!" shouted Mei.

A small smile appeared on Wukong and Macaque's faces, believing there might be a chance.

*Three days later.*

"According to the map, the place should be around here." said Tang looking over the map.

The gang had gotten out of the T.E.A. and was searching through a jungle trying to find the place that Red Star had mentioned in the note.

"Well, if it is here it's pretty well hidden." said MK, walking around.

"I still don't get how there is so little information about these Wishing Stars. I mean, if they are able to grant wishes shouldn't they be more well known?" Mei questioned.

"It's not that simple. They only grant wishes they deem worthy. It took me years until I found out about them and was able to make a wish." Macaque explained.

"Right, and you didn't think to share this with me that time when we found Miwa that day?" Wukong asked mockingly.

"We didn't question about how we came to be. So what difference would it be for me not sharing?" said Macaque rolling his eyes.

"Well, if you hadn't kept this from me. I might have been able to save her from what happened." Wukong glared over at him.

"And there we have it, even now you are thinking more about yourself than our own kid." Macaque scoffed. "You never change."

"Why you..." Wukong met him head on and the two starting arguing like a married couple.

"We should probably find that star place quickly." Sandy suggested.

"Yeah, before they start tearing each other apart." said Mei.

MK grabbed the map from Tang and raised it up to the sun, hoping to get some kind of sign. "We've come so far, we can't give up."

"With this pace, I don't think we are gonna find this place. It's like finding a needle in a bale of hay." said Pigsy taken a seat on a rock.

The sound of something clicking could be heard when Pigsy sat down, causing him to get off the rock.

Wukong and Macaque stopped shouting at each other and like the others watched as the ground under them lit up. Forming a golden circle as pillars rised up from the ground, a ring connecting the top of the pillars.

And in the middle of the circle a stone panel appeared, with the center of it looking like you could place something there.

"Woah, now this is getting interesting." said Mei.

"So what now?" Pigsy asked.

"Hmmm, by the look at this panel I believe we are to place the star map." Tang suggested.

MK looked at the star map and walked over, placing it into the panel. Causing the map to fuse into it, and five star like buttons appeared with each their own colors.

"Cool." MK and Mei whispered leaning over the panel.

"So we just press the red star button and the Red Wishing Star will appear?" Sandy questioned.

MK looked at the buttons, and unable to resist he went and pressed all of them.

All five of the buttons lit up towards the sky and a little twinkly sound suddenly came, sounding like a lullaby.

"MK, what did you do?! It clearly said to just summon the red one!" shouted Pigsy.

MK gave a nervous laugh scratching the back of his head. "Well, I thought that if we could summon Red Star. Why not summon the rest, who knows maybe we can ask them some questions."

Five colorful stars shape appeared on the ground as suddenly five different people were now standing on each star.

"Hm, this is new. I don't believe we've all been summoned at once like this." said Zise, his purple eyes looking over at the others.

"But how could this be? I thought we erased every part of this way of summoning us." Huangse questioned, glancing his yellow eyes over at the gang.

Everyone watched the five people suddenly in front of them, surprised it actually worked.

"Wait, look guys. It's Miwa!" MK quickly rushed towards the person looking like Miwa though more red in the colors.

However the red person created a red shield over herself, blocking MK from trying to hug her. "Sorry MK, but I'm not Miwa. What you see is the form of what my last wish was."

"Hongse, you told them about the forced wish? Have you lost your mind? There is a reason we erased this info." said Luse, her green scorpion tail lashing out in irritation.

"After everything we did to get you back, you would try something like this?" Lanse questioned, crossing his arms.

"I told you already, the wish might have granted but it never got fulfilled." Hongse spoke in a calm tone.

"So it is possible to bring Miwa back?" MK asked, gaining all five stars' attention.

"Yes, it's the only way to bring her back, by you making a forced wish." Zise explained.

"How so?" Tang asked.

"Because by killing a wish like her, it also meant fully erasing that wish." Luse explained.

"A wish like her?" Pigsy asked narrowing his eyes.

"An immortal wish." Lanse glared towards Wukong. "Because you fed the wish an immortal peach. It became unable to die, and Hongse stuck forever connected to that wish."

"Oh umm, excuse me Wishing Stars. But would it be possible for you to introduce yourselves? It's a little confusing to know who is who here." Sandy cut in to ask.

"Of course, excuse our manners. I'm Huangse Xing, but you can call me Yellow Star or just Yellow." Huangse introduced himself with a confident smile.

"I'm Luse Xing, also known as Green Star or Green. Whatever sounds best to you all." Luse introduced herself smiling sweetly at the gang.

"I go by Zise Xing, Purple Star or Purple for short." Zise introduced himself in a calm demeanor.

"The name's Lanse Xing, or Blue Star or Blue to put it simply." Lanse introduced himself with a bow.

"And I'm Hongse Xing, but I also go by Red Star or Red if that is easier for you." Hongse introduced herself with a gentle smile.

"Alright let's get back on track. Don't think I've forgiven you for what you made me do against Miwa." Macaque crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes.

"Not to mention you killed her." Wukong took a step forward. "So you better fix this right now." He gave them a cold glare.

"Well, I had only planned for myself being summoned not all of us. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised." said Hongse with a light giggle.

Zise rubbed between his eyes. "We should have known you would try something. Yet, I never imagined you would go for a forced wish. That we all agreed should never be used again."

"And I told you, that I wouldn't give up on this wish. You ended it too soon without letting it be fulfilled." Hongse glared at him.

"We wouldn't have intervened if you hadn't gone rogue in the first place." said Luse in a harsh tone, crossing her arms.

Hongse rolled her eyes and gave a scoff. "Excuse me for being tired of having to repeat the same thing each time."

"We are Wishing Stars, we grant wishes and nothing more. That is what we were made to do, being selfish was never part of our existence." said Huangse narrowing his eyes.

Mei let out a long whistle, and leaned over to the others. "Sounds like there were some infighting with these stars."

The gang nodded in agreement with what they were watching.

"What was wrong about uuhh Ho-Zi... Red going rogue? And why?" MK suddenly asked.

The Wishing Stars all four turned to Hongse, waiting for her to explain it.

Hongse scratched the back of her head sighing. "Ever since the day we came to be. We granted people's wishes, and for those that wished for a child. Demon, god, human or animal, we would grant that wish by becoming part of it for a few years until we left it and returned to the sky. Repeating it each time."

"Oh, and by you looking like Miwa. That must mean the forms of the rest of you are the previous living wishes you granted. " said Tang when glance at each wishing star.

"That is correct." said Lanse with a nod.

"Okay, we get that. But what does that have to do with you going rogue?" Pigsy asked.

"Of all five of us, I've been granting most wishes like Miwa. And wish each wish, living through each of their life and family. I started feeling lonely, and a need of belonging. " Hongse looked at the others stars with a sad sigh. "We might share the same purpose, we are just stars with the power to grant wishes. But we aren't a family nor friends. We are merely strangers that can't be apart."

The gang glanced at each other, a few feeling some sympathy.

"So when Macaque made his wish, I took the chance even though the others were against it." said Hongse looking over at said monkey.

"Wait, so does that make Macaque and Monkey King your actual parents or..." MK asked hesitantly.

"Bud, don't say it like that. It makes it sound all weird now." said Wukong, not liking that idea of some stranger having faked being their kid.

Hongse chuckles at the looks on their faces. "No, nothing like that. Miwa is and will always be their child."

"I did sense a strange presence a few times from Freckles, so that must have been you. Like the time with Spider Queen." said Wukong, remembering how Miwa had acted differently when DBK, her and himself were captured.

"That is right, Sun Wukong." Hongse answered with a nod. "But when I granted the wish, I sealed away my memories and powers... however, doing so left some unexpected side effects."

"Side effects?" MK asked curiously.

"I'm sure you guys noticed it a few times, random memories, star-like powers. Somehow she ended up being able to use some of my powers and make them her own. Though still has a lot to learn to ever control them." Hongse explained.

"So her being able to walk in the air, summoning star-like energy, sing people to sleep, visit people in their dreams, and the crazy space monster monkey form are all your powers?" MK counted with each of his fingers, while asking this question.

"A few of them yes, but the feral monkey form is of her own creation and being another connection to Macaque." Hongse explained.

"Another connection?" Macaque questioned, raising an eyebrow.

Hongse gave a short nod. "Whenever we grant a living wish, we always have it inherit a few things from their parents. Whatever it being looks, shapes, or even powers."

"Fascinating." said Tang as he had been busy writing everything down from what the wishings stars had told them.

"So, if we wished Miwa back. Would you end up connected to her again?" Mei asked.

Hongse were about to answer, but Zise was quicker. "No, making a forced wish to bring someone back from death. Or in Miwa's case, existence will not reconnect with the Star it once was. The wish will be all free."

"What do you mean by existence? You killed her, we all saw it! And when someone gets killed they are dead." Pigsy exclaimed with a mix of anger and confusion.

The Wishing Stars looked at each other, all five with a calm expression as if they were used to this kind of thing.

"Star people, what my friend here is trying to say. Is that we are a little confused with what you mean with the existence of Miwa, being different than death." said Sandy more friendly.

"Because Miwa was fed an immortal peach. She was unable to die in any normal way. This is the first time it has ever happened for a wish still very young and still connected to the Star that granted the wish." Lanse explained, giving a sigh and a side glance at Wukong.

Luse gested with her hand towards Hongse. "Which is why a long time ago should something like this ever happen, we would have a backup plan for it."

"By killing her, okay we get that already. Would you guys just get to the point already?" Wukong asked impatiently with his arms crossed.

"As much as I hate to say it, I for once have to agree with Wukong." said Macaque with a scoff.

The gang looked at Wukong and Macaque seemily they were both getting impatient but were showing it in each their own way. Not to mention how weird it was seeing Hongse looking like Miwa, just more red and star-like.

"I guess we have been wasting enough time explaining and answering questions." said Huangse looking at the others with a cheeky smile.

"Macaque is the only one to make this wish. Since he already made a wish, only he is allowed to make a forced wish." Lanse explained.

"What? That doesn't make sense, why can't we all make that wish together?" MK asked.

"If a person that hasen't made a wish, tries and makes a forced wish. Wouldn't be given a second chance wish, which is what a forced wish pretty much is." Luse told him, being as simple with her words for him to understand.

"We don't care about those stupid rules you guys have. We all have the same wish we want granted. So just grant it already!" Mei exclaimed.

The Wishing Stars turned their attention to Hongse, letting her have the final decision by this wish.

Hongse looked at everyone, observing each of their facial expressions giving a sigh with a soft smile appearing on her face. "We've never had this many people asking for the same forced wish all together. Let's grant them what they want."

Mei and MK jumped up with a happy cheer.

"So how does this work?" Tang asked.

"I'll guess it's some wishing words, a bit like those I spoke for you to grant my wish." Macaque figured it might be the same thing.

"No wishing words, just place your hands on the middle of the panel you used to summon us and wish from deep within your hearts." Zise explained.

The gang glanced at each other, Macaque and Pigsy being the ones being more skeptical about it but followed along with the rest and each placed a hand on the panel, making the wish of bringing Miwa back to them.

The Wishing Stars summoned their powers, each glowing in their own color as the white parts on their bodies changed into white sigils wrapping around on either their left or right arm. Making it a forced wish that no one could break.

The gang watched in amazement by the bright colors reflecting off the Wishing Stars on to everything around them, making it look like they were surrounded by colorful stars.

"Wow, so pretty." said Mei and MK, both jaw-dropped.

Suddenly a few white stars floated to the middle of where the Wishing Stars was standing, creating a bright, white star that only grew brighter, blinding everyone watching.

The Wishing Stars got a weird feeling as their eyes for a moment flashed white before everything soon returned to normal and the sigils had faded away.

"Did it work?" Pigsy asked looking at the others.

"I think so, but I don't see Miwa anywhere." said Tang while rubbing his eyes after being blinded by that light.

"Where is Miwa? I thought she would be back now." MK asked confused.

The Wishing Stars were just as confused as the rest, taking a look around the place they were all standing in but no sign of her.

"How is this possible?" Zise asked with a puzzled look on his face.

"Where is the wish?" Luse asked looking at the other Wishing Stars.

"I knew it, you guys were just tricking us to believe there was hope for Miwa! Yet you just used this as a way so none of us can wish her back." Macaque gave them a dead glare.

"What? No, we never tricked any of you. Whatever happened to the wish is—" Huangse tried explaining but was cut off when Wukong charged right at them at full force.

The Wishing Stars quickly used their powers to create a huge shield to block his attack, but it wasn't gonna last long as it slowly started cracking.

"I don't wanna hear any excuses! You killed our daughter and lead us on a wild goose chase! Lying to us and making us believe you could bring her back!" shouted Wukong enraged, putting more power into his punch against the shield.

"Miwa is alive." Hongse finally spoke, gaining everyone's attention.

"Where is she? Where does your connection to that wish tell you?" Lanse were the first person to ask.

"Connection? I thought you wouldn't be connected anymore." Sandy asked.

Wukong narrowed his eyes at Hongse, but decided to hear her out. Trying to control his anger.

"I was part of Miwa once. Even when a Star leaves the wish, we are still able to find that wish should that Star try and search for it." Hongse explained, a small smile on her face. "So your wish did work, she has returned."

"Then where is she?" MK asked.

"Somewhere far away right now, but I can reassure you. She will find her way back." Hongse explained.

The other Wishing Stars glanced at each other, unsure what she meant. But decided to stay quiet. Letting Hongse handle the situation.

"Okay, then why not just give us a map so we can go and find her ourselves?" MK asked.

Hongse shook her head looking at MK and then over at Wukong and Macaque. "Miwa is on her own journey. But I promise you she will return back to you all. I and the other Wishing Stars will see to it, since we are the ones responsible for all of this."

The Wishing Stars gave Hongse a surprised look, not having thought they would be pulled into this still.

"Miwa on her own journey." said MK, a little concerned.

"How long will her journey be?" Wukong asked, seeming a little more relaxed.

Hongse put a finger to her chin, tilting her head from side to side. Seemingly thinking for a bit. "Around a year or two, depends on how her journey goes."

"One to two years?!" shouted the gang shocked.

"How far away is she for needing a year or two, until she can get back to us?" Mei asked.

"Sorry to ruined the excitement here. But how can we be sure you are telling us the truth? Something tells me that you aren't sharing everything with us." Macaque narrowed his eyes and walked towards Hongse, finding it hard to look at her because she looked just like Miwa.

Hongse gave him a soft smile, though it only made Macaque more annoyed. "I understand your mistrust with the five of us. Probably me more than the rest because of my appearance. But for all the time connected to Miwa, I've only ever wanted her to be happy and keep her alive no matter the situations."

She raised a hand and placed it to where his heart was at.

Macaque slapped her hand away from him and gave a low growl. "I don't want your excuses Red, I want proof. If Miwa isn't back by the time you said. I'll never forgive any of you for tricking me like this for so many years."

Hongse watched Macaque then disappearing into the shadows, leaving everyone.

"We should probably get going too. We have done what we were summoned to do." said Zise looking at the other Wishing Stars that nodded in agreement, each one glowing a colorful light and returned towards the sky.

"W-wait!" shouted MK just as Hongse was the last one about to leave.

"What is it MK?" Hongse asked tilting her head.

"You said earlier that you and the other Wishing Stars weren't family or friends. And even though you were connected to Miwa, I see you as our friend." MK explained with a small smile.

Hongse had a surprised look on her face, not expecting him to say this, but hearing he saw her as a friend made her grow a smile. "Thanks MK, it makes me happy to hear that, truly."

MK smiled before pulling her into a tight hug, once more surprising her.

The gang observed with a few small smiles before Sandy went and pulled all of them into a hug.

Hongse gave a soft laugh before getting out of the hug, a tear forming in the corner of her eye. "Thanks, but I think you should save the hugging when Miwa returns."

"If you or any of the other Wishing Stars ever find time, I would like to document everything about you. Actually meeting and talking to a Wishing Star is a rare opportunity." said Tang with an excited look on his face.

"A rare opportunity indeed." Hongse mumbled when thinking back to the far past.

"Red, is there any way you can update us about Miwa and how she is doing on her journey?" Wukong asked walking over.

"I'll try, but I can't promise anything." Hongse told him before glancing up at the sky. "I have to get back to the others."

With a final goodbye, Hongse returned to the sky. While the gang headed home, and waited for the day Miwa finally came back.

*With the Wishing Stars.*

"Red explain yourself, what actually happened to Miwa? She was meant to appear back at the summoning place, yet she didn't." Purple Star questioned.

"Before I can answer that, please tell me that you all felt it too when we were granting the wish." said Red Star looking at the others.

"We felt it alright, but how is that even possible? This has never happened before." said Green Star sounding surprised.

"Maybe it's a good thing? Destiny rarely have any plans for us, and when it does it's something special." said Blue Star.

"Or it could be something bad, Red Star you must know something that we don't. So tell us already and stop keeping it all to yourself." said Yellow Star sounding annoyed.

"It seems like with how I was connected to Miwa and the side effects of having some of my powers, has created something unexpected that we never thought possible." Red Star looked at the other four. "A new Wishing Star. Or more specifically, half a Wishing Star. Or if we should call her something, a Star Monkey."

There were a heavy silence from all of them, all too shocked about this revelation.

"As for where Miwa ended up at..." Red Star gave a slight sigh. "Right as you all struck her down, she used the same power she once used as a baby to travel to the future. But without knowing of course, and she has now ended up at one of the other worlds."

Another silence appeared from the Wishing Stars, not knowing what to think of all of this.

"If what you say are truth, then the reason to suggested we helped her get back home. Was so we could actually help teach her how to use some of the powers we have." Purple Star finally realized with a surprised look.

"And I'm guessing in us teaching her, it will also help her use the same powers to travel back to her friends and family." Yellow Star said catching on quickly.

Red Star nodded to what the two were saying.

"Why didn't you tell the others back at the summoning place?" Blue Star asked.

"This is something entirely new to us all, and the less they know the better for everyone." Red Star explained.

"I think you've been spending too much time with them all, more so with Miwa's parents when still connected to her." Green Star pointed out.

"We all carry around parts of the memories and personalities of the wishes we were once connected to." Red Star said.

"Back to the topic at hand, how are we gonna teach this Star Monkey?" Purple Star questioned.

"I have an idea, we could teach her at the other abandoned summoning places in the other worlds." Blue Star suggested.

"Those places are secluded, and with the erased information about forced wishes, no one will ever find them. Sounds good enough of a training spot for me." said Yellow Star.

"Then it's decided, let's find Miwa, help her training and bring her home." said Red Star looking determined at the others.
