I open up the door before running down the hall and down the steps to see why she was shouting for me for once. As soon as I reach the bottom of the steps I can see Minami standing with her.
"Yeah?" I question.
"You haven't been attending school. What is the reasoning for that?" She asks while tilting her head.
Is this thing malfunctioning? She literally has seen me working in that shop for years now and has even accompanied me to the junkyard.
This doesn't really make a whole lot of sense either now. What is going on all of a sudden?
"I haven't gone to school in years. Why would it matter now?" I question with some confusion in my voice.
She stood there silently for a few moments before I could see her mouth beginning to move again. "I apologize. It must've been a weird error in my processing." Mom answers before heading back into the kitchen.
"I don't know what's gotten into her lately but she's been acting weird." Minami says after Mom is out of the room.
