Andria's POV
The silence that followed was electric. My pulse drummed in my throat, and I could feel the heat rising in my face. He came closer, plopping on the seat close to me. I could smell him, and it was driving me insane.
I wanted to devour him this time. Why was I having these dirty thoughts? Was it how you feel after bonding with that one mate?
His voice dropped lower. "Tell me something, Aria. Do you always let your emotions dictate your actions? Or was that performance an exception?"
I hated how my breath hitched. He was back to reprimanding me again, but this time, I felt he was talking out of jealousy and a need to control. However, I would respond, after all, he is my teacher, and this is the Academy's ground. "It wasn't…"
