Black Diamond POV:
After surviving the two week hell that is training camp we moved on to my favorite activity. Making music for the masses. Still that training camp was fucked up we all almost died multiple times, and I was buried in mud through most of it. There are easier ways to put me six feet in the dirt you know. I finally get back in the studio and there waiting was Ana who already had her team preparing music tracks.
I listened to all the sounds and music they created, and it wasn't much since they were all also helping out at the training camp. They were all good, and soon Ana showed me the schedule for the next week. First we all had individual performance checks, and anyone who failed were put into extreme song and dance training for the next week. With my test coming first today, and everyone being sent the message. The text consisted of a song test, a dance test, and a talent show and Ana, Mina, and Hana will decide if they've met qualifications.
Those who pass though get to do creative doing work to help prepare for the live performances. My test soon began and I did great at singing, good in dancing, and my last test was music composition with a guitar. I knocked that final test out of the park making every judge scream in excitement. I soon passed and joined the other's take the test. First was ImP who blew the song test out the wall park, did great at dance, and played guitar on her last test playing it like a master and passed.
Next is Spice who singing passed, dance was good, and rap for his last test was master class blowing everyone away and passed. Next is Norn whose singing was angelical, dance was made by herself creating a beautiful choreography, her final test was fashion design creating a dress Mina actually wanted to add to her store. She soon combined everything into a masterful performance giving her a masterful grade. Next after her is Lily and she was bad, just a total let down. I know she did her best in training, but it seems she neglected performance training.
Her singing and song was average, but wasn't enough to pass, her dancing was above average, but the choreography was was bad. Her last talent was a speech that felt memorized and had no emotion she was showing her hosting skills and it was bad. She was the first to fail, and the announcement telling everyone somehow lit a fire under everyone's ass. Next was GW whose dinging was really good, and her choreographed dance was insane even shocking Ana speechless. Finally her last talent was also an outfit that Mina wanted to get her hands on.
Steel is the next one and her song was opera and she blew everyone away. Her dance showed off her athleticism. That's when I realized both her performances covered any weaknesses she could have and enhanced all her abilities to get not only the higher grade, but the highest. She didn't, but she was competing to win. I can still hear her curse loudly when she got fifth place.
After Steel is Jo and her performance was a masterpiece, her singing was smooth as silk. Her dance choreography was designed to look absolutely mystical, and her rapping was an insane speed that blew us all away. She even performed her song with a piano showing off her instrument ability. She easily took one of the top spots in performance. Next up was Gray and she did all three tests at once.
She did a performance using singing, dancing, and using a song she wrote herself. The song was amazing and her dance was on point, it was a fusion of synchro pop and R&B. She called it,' Gray Program,' with Ana and me agreeing to adapt it properly later. Damn she was good, next was Mama Blues and she sang was jazz inspired and is amazing. Her dance was swing dancing and was amazing, and finally her talent was Cinematography playing a video giving a tour of the entire base.
It was great, making Mina want it. Next after Mama is KiWi, and it was insane. Her song was a combination of ballad folk music and gospel telling a story that didn't exist. Her dance was smooth and told a story of a culture that didn't exist not exist outside of her imagination, but was absolutely beautiful. Her last talent was animation showing an animated video with insane quality showing a fantasy world matching her song and dance. Making all of us absolutely speechless, proving she is the most creative person in this building.
Next is Rain and she was different, but in a good way. Her song was a soldier's ballad in traditional Japanese making everyone cry with how sad it was. Her dance was hip hop showing her physicality and flexibility. Finally her talent was a gymnastics performance that made everyone awe. It was amazing from start to finish making the room quiet in the beauty of it all.
After was Rose and she did a duet solo for her song showing off her ability to hit high and low notes. Her dance was a mix of masculine and feminine showing strength and flexibility. Finally her last talent had her play the violin with an amazing song. Safe to say she passed with flying colors. After her is Sweets and her singing was a strong feminine country ballad.
Her dancing barely passed though, and needed more work. Finally her last talent was a video of a short video about training camp that she directed and it was a masterpiece. Mina immediately bought it wanting to use it in the future. She passed and soon we moved on. Last is Vic and this where the greatness stopped.
Vic's singing was optimal, but her song didn't match. Her dance was full of mistakes, and her last talent was a comedy act that was funny, but could be better. The announcement of Vic failing sent an echo throughout the team. We all tried to help Vic like she always helped us, but soon Vic and Lily were sent to performance camp. Some like Spice and Sweets joined as well to work on their flaws as well after seeing the two work so hard.
Still the ones who passed and didn't need to improve their skills celebrated and then went to work after. GW and Norn went to help make outfits, while Steel and Jo went to help make props. KiWi and Mama were designing an animated video to go with one of our songs. Gray is writing song lyrics, while Rain and Rose help out. Finally ImP and I are working with Ana to creat compositions.
The team switches around doing different jobs as well to help each other out. With the help of Ana's team and Mina's servants we were doing quite well. Soon ImP asked me if we could ask Juna to help us create a rock song the fused my traditional rock and roll, her punk rock and the rock of this world that Juna was an expert in. Fuck yes I agreed and soon ImP and I started to go see Juna who we heard took a week vacation after Camp. She delegated her work throughout her team and took off to her apartment.
We soon decided to visit her the next day and got to her apartment. ImP knocked on her door and soon she answered. ImP spoke saying," Juna can we talk, cause you're gonna love this." Juna responded positively saying," Hell yeah Impy, lay it on me." Soon ImP told her about the song we wanted to make and I joined in a few times. She agreed saying," That sounds amazing my rock sisters, let's do it." She soon shut the door and we hear a commotion inside before she opened the door again dressed and carrying her partner on her back.
We soon got to the entertainment production wing. There we passed our teammates doing different activities from training to producing different things. She was amazed and soon we got to my area where I compose music, record tracks, write everything, and make songs. There Ana's crew was hard at work while she was reading my compositions. She saw us and Juna and immediately after greeting us asked to have a conversation with me in another room.
Once we were alone she asked," Okay explain why Juna is here in the recording office before I lose my mind in speculation." I smiled at her and truthfully told her," ImP wanted herself, Juna, and I to record a mixed rock song together." She looked slack jawed at that information and after what looked like a million thoughts going through her head she calmed herself down. She soon asked as calmly as she could," Why?" I smiled at her not caring about her inner hissy fit and responded," Creative freshness, adding other creative and talented musicians like her leads to work evolving and growing in quality."
She had to admit I was correct and walked soon agreed to the arrangement. After the meeting the music making began. It was fun making a song that once completed I knew would dominate the music charts. Still I was busy not only did I take it upon myself to give everyone a theme song, I had to adapt songs and music from our world to introduce this one. I even was helping Gray complete his song from his test. Which Ana seeing my situation made me delegate.
That's why Ana and her team helped Gray throughout the process of completing the song. She also helped Gray with adapting our songs from our world to this one. Still knowing she thinks Gray is just a music talent like me and doesn't know these are adapted songs is funny. I also had Norn, Spice, and Jo assist Gray in the adaptations. While I had ImP, Juna, and GW assist me with the original songs.
It was hard work, but soon all the songs were ready for the presentation. The original songs were presented first. Mina loved our theme songs, but couldn't care less about the head's themes seeing them as unnecessary. Still I was keeping them, because they were still high quality songs. She also loved the adapted songs which had a lot of Gray and her team's favorite songs on there.
Like why was there so much K-pop in there? We soon moved on and Juna soon went back to her real job. She said she had a fun vacation. ImP also left to check on Lily to see if she passed her reexamination. I know they did, because I know those two.
They would rather die than fail again. Now the staff has just gone home and everything was cleaned. I was alone and I was thinking. I was trying to avoid my thoughts by keeping myself busy. I know I'm putting everyone and myself in danger with these songs.
Thanks to training camp I now know the reason there's no major genres outside of pop music. Why music outside of pop is just minor sounds or underground hits. The Pop Cult, an entire cult I didn't know existed that's also powerful enough to hold the world hostage to one sound. They are a terrorist group, but act more like the KKK. They're obviously dangerous, but I hate them so much I have to create my own movement against them.
I don't know why but I have this massive hatred for that group once I heard of them for what should be the first time. That's what confuses me, but instead of worrying about it I chose to follow my emotions. My goal is to make a movement and a group outside my team to finally end the stranglehold held by the cult over the music scene and the world. First was to show them what was possible using my songs and show them I was able and willing to take on the cult with my artistic talents. Second is to win races to show them strength and make the fanbase and word of mouth spread bigger.
Finally create a movement and group which need to be trained, armed, and well supplied to take the cult on. I also needed to make the cult weaker and put doubt in their group. Will this all work out exactly to plan. Oh heck no, will this cause me a lot of pain, headaches, and setbacks most likely yes. Still I'm willing to adapt and grow, because I'm just a musician who can run and perform and that's all I know.
Still with the help of everyone willing I might do something crazy. Why must I do this? Because feelings from an unknown source or not I cannot accept a world with only one genre of music. It was almost time for curfew, and soon I began getting my stuff and leaving. Welp time to get ready for the craziest thing I've ever done.
