The alarm went off at 6 a.m. While Hani still had work, she felt excited for today. With her clothes packed and other miscellaneous items for the date, she was off to work. She texted Emma as she left since she was still sleeping.
[Hani: I will meet you at the café at 12 noon!]
The day was busy, but Hani was so elated about going on a date that she didn't feel like it was draining, unlike how it usually felt. Full of smiles and with a bubbly spirit, she kept the customers smiling as well. It was contagious. Zooming left and right, Hani worked at record speed without taking a break.
The hours went by quickly. Hani looked at the clock. It was 15 minutes until closing at 12 noon, and Hani started to close the café. Flipping the sign to 'closed' and collecting the last few payments for the remaining customers, she worked more quickly than she had ever done before.
"I see you are in a hurry today, huh?" Ivory grinned towards Hani, who had finished cleaning the coffee machine.
