Hani read that flying was an ability that does not really exist unless one has a high-grade magic spell based on winged animals, but here she was flying. No one in the modern world had the magic to fly, only in history books. Hani, on the other hand, did not even have a flight spell. In the grimoire, Henry, the being inside the grimoire, had shown her to a page that allowed flight.
"Why did you show me this before?" Hani asked, puffing her cheeks.
[Well… until now, you had not shown much potential of being able to succeed this spell until the… fight.]
The blunt answer, shut up, Hani, turned her eyes dark. She knew she was weak, but the fact that Henry kept telling her this made her realise just how bad it had really been. Unlike Stella, who was able to use all the spells in her books, slowly learning them one by one, Hani, on the other hand, had not even bothered to learn much, as her capabilities with even some basic spells learnt in school were a challenge.
