Through the curtain of rain, Jingliu's back receded into the distance. The child who once could only gaze at that departing figure had finally grown into a strong young man. Wielding the Sword of Yin and Yang, Wende leaped down from a great height, where a horde of grotesque Abominations of Abundance had long been waiting.
"Heh..."
With a calm smile, Wende slashed forward with the white blade in his hand. A brilliant white light flowed and shimmered, and swaths of Abominations fell, only to revive moments later and charge at him once more.
"Waning Moon."
Wende closed his eyes. The blade in his hand turned from white to black. A cold, clear moonlight shot forth from the sword's edge. Wherever the moonlight touched, the Abominations of Abundance turned into ice sculptures, frozen in place.
One wave had just been quelled, but another rose to take its place.
Before Wende could unleash his Ultimate, the Version 1.2 pilot PV came to an abrupt end. Then, the key visual for this version slowly faded into view along with the flash of Wende's sword.
On the left was the new, unknown, and very "large" female boss. On the right, led by Jing Yuan, stood the members of the Express Crew. And Wende's figure was positioned behind all of them, showing only his back and a single glance over his shoulder.

As Wende spoke, the 5-star Wende behind him switched to the corresponding stance.
"When Wende uses his Skill, [Yin-Yang Transformation], he will enter either the [Solar Sun] or [Waning Moon] form based on the player's choice. For two turns, after the initial Skill Point cost, switching forms will not consume any additional Skill Points."
"When Wende is in the [Solar Sun] form, he deals Fire damage to a target enemy and adjacent enemies, inflicting a Burn effect. Additionally, Wende's Basic ATK in the [Solar Sun] form will apply a Burn effect that ignores RES for three turns."
"When Wende is in the [Waning Moon] form, he grants a lifesteal effect to all allies. Allies will restore HP equal to a percentage of the damage they deal. When triggering a Weakness Break on an enemy (Fire), he will inflict the [Slow] status."
After Wende finished introducing his Skill, the projection behind him immediately displayed his two forms.
In the Yang form, Wende held a white blade in a standard forward grip, aimed at the enemy.
In the Yin form, Wende held a black blade in a reverse grip, its edge hidden.
"When his Talent [One Qi of Yin and Yang] is unlocked, the Burn effect from Wende's [Solar Sun] form will apply the [Frenzied] effect to enemies. Enemies in the [Frenzied] state will have increased ATK but will also take more damage."

After reading his script and seeing the screen full of "WTF"s from the livestream chat, Wende sighed helplessly. In any case, he wasn't a banner character, so whether his kit was strong or weak... it didn't matter. As long as he was hot enough, that was all that mattered!
