"WHY is your face so red? Are you sick?" Elijah asked worriedly then looked around. "Where's Mister Ace Carter? I just wanted to ask him something."
"Ah... he's in the bathroom," Cherry lied. She secretly pinched her palm because of the reason she thought of.
"Is that so? Will he be there long? I'm in a hurry, I just wanted to say goodbye to him," Elijah said.
"M-Maybe. H-He says he has diarrhea," Cherry lied again to the person in front of her. "You go first, Brother Elijah. Mister Ace Carter will also leave after coming out of the bathroom," Cherry pushed the man away.
"I see," Elijah said, nodding. His expression darkened for a moment but when he looked up at Cherry again, it was back to normal.
"Remember to lock the door before you sleep. I'll go first."
"Y-Yes, Brother Elijah."
Cherry escorted the man out the door, and when she saw him get on the elevator, she breathed a sigh of relief.
