The time for the great campaign that would end everything had finally arrived. Omar prepared himself, gathered the soldiers and weapons, and motivated his men for the resistance, stressing the importance of fighting and winning on this fateful day.
He went to Minora and held his little son, Aikan, who was sucking his thumb, sleeping in peace and quiet. "I never expected that one day my son would be blue!" he said, a smile on his face.
Minora laughed, and Omar laughed with her. "He looks just like you," she commented, running her fingers through little Aikan's hair.
Omar smiled and kissed Aikan's forehead. "I hope you grow up in a peaceful world, my son, and don't see what we have seen... If I succeed today, you will be proud of your father. And if I don't, always remember me as someone who fought for freedom... Remember me as a father who fought to his last breath to die free."
