Lola's day started normally; her morning routine was the same as always. On her way out of the residence, she stopped and turned toward Atlas.
"Hmm?" she hummed when she caught him looking at her.
"Not going to the hospital?" he asked again.
She shook her head with a smile. "There's no need for me to go since I'm not his match. But his beloved daughter is. I'm sure they'll be fine. Melissa will happily save her father's life. Meanwhile, I still have a role to play."
"I see." He nodded lightly, glancing at the children already waiting in the car. "I'll see you later, then."
"Mhm."
With that, Lola turned to leave and was about to get into her car when Atlas spoke again.
"Later."
His voice made her stop and look back. "Dinner."
Her brows rose before her lips curved into a smile. "Mhm. I know. Dinner."
