Just how unlucky could one be?
That was the question swirling in Haji's group as they took in the situation they had found themselves in. First, they were stuck underground far longer than expected, and now, when they finally emerged, they were already ambushed.
"Fuck—" Haji breathed out, only for something hard to strike the back of his head, instantly knocking him unconscious.

"Ugh…"
Haji's groan echoed in the utter darkness he woke up to. The rough fabric brushing against his face made him huff instinctively.
When he tried to move, as expected, his hands and feet were bound.
Not only were his eyes blindfolded, but there was also a cloth sack over his head.
"Damn," he muttered, wincing as his nape throbbed from the earlier assault. "Anybody there?!"
His voice echoed, making him think that wherever he'd been taken, he was probably alone. All he could hope was that the rest weren't dead yet.
Otherwise, Lola would kill him.
Haji knew that as if it were a fact.
