Vito's name had come up quite a few times now — not just in this investigation about Yuri's disappearance. Even so, whenever a name kept resurfacing, Atlas made sure to keep tabs on that person.
Now that the name crossed his mind again, he finally decided.
"Now that I think about it, Vito has no reason to be in Novera," Lola hummed as they waited for Haji and Scarlet. "Even after all these years, he doesn't really bother me."
And that was a fact.
Vito was not someone who would usually go out of his way to trouble Lola. Since she left, he would only send things occasionally. But back in Novera, not only had Vito bothered her, he had crossed several lines for some reason. The guy had almost gotten himself killed because he drew Atlas's attention.
That was why Lola called Vito a lucky man.
She snapped out of her thoughts when the door opened. Looking up, she saw Haji and Scarlet walk in. The duo paused by the door, scanning the room.
