Three days later, Kaiser's astral body was pulled into the Throne of Heroes.
"Oh?" he murmured. "Finally, there's a new mission."
Opening his eyes, Kaiser waited for the Throne of Heroes' mission briefing.
Ding~ "This mission is a rescue mission."
"The world's will is already preparing to destroy the world and recover all law powers."
"Your task is to help the world get back on track and reach its normal evolutionary state."
Upon hearing the Throne of Heroes' mission briefing, Kaiser couldn't help but frown.
A rescue mission? Who should he rescue? The world's will, or... And what was this about the world's will preparing to destroy everything?
Ding~ "After detection, the current mission world experienced a very serious disaster event a very long time ago."
"The world's will's law power has manifested externally."
"This caused many living beings in the world to become possessors of law power."
"And the world's evolution has gradually deviated."
"Because law power has been abused, it has caused huge problems with the world's foundation."
"The world's will is already starting to prepare for a great flood to destroy the world..."
Looking at the Throne of Heroes' mission briefing, Kaiser became interested.
Laws—these were exactly what he needed now. Even if this world's laws were weak, they still had some use.
"Is there a minimum stay time?" Kaiser asked.
Ding~ "According to the mission briefing."
"The minimum stay time is one year."
"The maximum stay time is twenty years."
"If you cannot collect the laws within the specified time."
"Then the world's will will judge your mission as failed and directly start the great flood to destroy the world."
Hearing the Throne of Heroes' words, Kaiser nodded. This wasn't too surprising.
After all, each rescue mission had to consider the world's acceptance level.
But one year was indeed a bit long.
"Alright, send me over."
With that, his astral body turned into a streak of light and plunged into the myriad worlds galaxy.
Holy Land Mary Geoise, Pangaea Castle
Hum!
Golden light fell from the horizon.
Kaiser slowly walked out of the light pillar.
"Who are you?"
Seeing such a special way of descending, the guards of the Holy Land became nervous, fearing a repeat of the previous tragedy at Mary Geoise.
"Oh?" Kaiser mused. "Is this Holy Land Mary Geoise?"
He glanced at the people around him, their suits looking particularly solemn.
With the blue and white naval uniforms on the periphery, he already knew which world he had landed in.
Undoubtedly, it was the world of One Piece.
"No wonder law power is manifesting externally," Kaiser thought.
"So that's the reason."
He understood now.
If one spoke of the specialty of the One Piece world, it had to be the Devil Fruit tree.
It was said that the fruits produced on this tree could grant all kinds of special powers: Paramecia, Zoan, and Logia, corresponding to various law powers.
Especially Logia Devil Fruits—once awakened, they could permanently alter the environment on a large scale.
This was not a power humans should possess.
Moreover, in the One Piece world, gaining power was too easy.
Eating a Devil Fruit could instantly turn someone from a weakling into a fighter, doubling their strength.
"Interesting," Kaiser said with a smile.
"Arrest him!"
The agents of CP0 couldn't allow Kaiser to roam the Holy Land freely, especially since his origin was unknown.
Though his entrance resembled Admiral Kizaru's, there couldn't be two users of the Glint-Glint Fruit simultaneously.
Hum!
Kaiser lifted his eyes slightly.
His divine might spread.
Thud... thud...
Everyone swept by Kaiser's divine might fainted on the ground, even the formidable CP0 agents.
"What is this?"
Cold sweat instantly ran down their faces.
"Conqueror's Haki?"
"How can there be such powerful Conqueror's Haki?"
Onlookers from afar were stunned.
The God's Knights within the Holy Land noticed the anomaly—such widespread fainting was impossible to ignore.
Kaiser spared some, needing messengers.
"Is there anyone who can still speak?"
"Come forward."
His voice was soft, yet it reached every corner of the Holy Land.
"What is this?"
Even Admiral Aokiji, stationed at Mary Geoise, heard it and rushed from his office without delay.
"May I ask who you are?"
Figarland Shamrock, the current leader of the God's Knights, regarded Kaiser with a grave expression.
In a blink, he had incapacitated over half the Holy Land's personnel, including CP0 and the stationed Vice Admirals.
What level of Conqueror's Haki was this?
"You are the leader of the God's Knights, Figarland Shamrock?" Kaiser asked, noting his resemblance to Shanks.
His strength was notable, a top-tier figure in this world.
"You know me?" Shamrock's expression shifted.
He rarely appeared publicly at sea, and even most Celestial Dragons lacked the clearance to know his identity.
Yet now, an intruder had called out his full name.
Shamrock instantly suspected a traitor within the Holy Land, and one of high rank.
"You'll do." Kaiser said.
"A decent hostage."
He extended his right hand, the three Command Spells on its back glaringly visible.
His power was suppressed to its limit, yet he still possessed the strength to shatter the earth's surface with a single strike—a crushing disparity for the people of the One Piece world.
Shamrock found his body moving against his will, flying into Kaiser's grasp, his neck clamped tightly.
"How is this possible?!"
Shamrock's pupils shrank.
His abilities were nullified, and his Haki had no effect on this man.
He was completely restrained.
"Who… are you?" He asked, struggling to speak.
"That's not for you to know." Kaiser replied.
"Let's see… this way…"
He headed toward the Domain of the Gods, Imu's residence, dragging Shamrock like an oversized toy.
"Hey, this isn't a game!"
Admiral Aokiji appeared, his Ice-Ice Fruit forming a wall of solid ice to block Kaiser's path.
But Kaiser had no time for him.
His divine might surged again.
Crack…
The ground split, the ice wall shattered instantly.
Aokiji's eyes rolled back, and he collapsed unconscious before Kaiser.
"What kind of joke is this?"
Shamrock, witnessing the scene, gave up struggling.
That was a Navy Admiral, one of the World Government's pinnacle forces.
Even he couldn't guarantee victory against Aokiji, yet this man felled him with a glance?
Was this being human?
For some reason, Shamrock felt the World Government's reign might be nearing its end.
Tap… tap… tap…
Kaiser's footsteps echoed in the Domain of the Gods.
"You're Imu?"
"Surprisingly young."
Kaiser glanced at the woman before him.
She appeared youthful, though her aesthetic—particularly the towering crown—was questionable.
"Who are you?"
Imu jolted, startled.
Someone had approached her without her sensing it.
Seeing Shamrock gripped in Kaiser's hand, her eyes narrowed.
"Rebel, state your name." She demanded, meeting Kaiser's gaze.
His striking appearance unnerved her.
"Not bad." Kaiser remarked.
"You've stolen law power and broken free of time's shackles."
"You've lived about eight hundred years, haven't you?"
He sensed Imu's aura, confirming his suspicion.
She was one of the original twenty kings, surviving since the World Government's founding.
"Who are you?"
Imu's voice trembled with apprehension.
She'd never met Kaiser, yet he'd exposed her secrets in a single encounter.
Fear crept in.
"You can think of me as… a god." Kaiser said, choosing the simplest explanation.
"A god?"
Imu and Shamrock froze.
The Celestial Dragons styled themselves as gods.
Now, someone claimed to be one?
But given Kaiser's power, Shamrock believed him almost instantly.
Kaiser tossed Shamrock to Imu's feet.
"I won't waste time." He said.
"My descent has a purpose."
"The world's laws are rampant, destabilizing its foundation."
"I need to reclaim the law power."
"Otherwise, within twenty years at most, I'll unleash a great flood to destroy the world."
"This world has strayed from my intended evolution."
Kaiser took the blame for the impending apocalypse.
Imu stood stunned.
"So the prophecy was true…"
Her expression flickered.
At the World Government's founding, a prophecy foretold a world-ending catastrophe—a great flood.
It was why Mary Geoise was built at the world's highest point.
"What are these law powers you speak of?" Shamrock asked, catching his breath, ignoring Imu's presence.
He'd seen Admiral Aokiji felled by Kaiser's aura alone—an unimaginable power, beyond even the Ancient Weapon Uranus.
"Devil Fruit powers." Kaiser answered.
"They're the leaked laws."
"This world's creatures were meant to rely on Haki and physical techniques."
"But a calamity long ago caused the law power to leak."
"Coupled with Devil Fruit users constantly wielding these powers, the world's laws are clashing."
"The world teeters on the brink of collapse."
Imu and Shamrock exchanged a glance, their suspicions confirmed.
"This is the world's final chance." Kaiser warned.
"Don't resist me."
"Otherwise, you won't even see the flood."
"I'll end the world myself."
His smile was chilling to Imu and Shamrock.
"Understood, Your Majesty." Shamrock said, bowing respectfully, leaving Imu bewildered.
"You have three days." Kaiser ordered.
"Gather the World Government's leaders and initiate the Devil Fruit recovery plan."
"For fruits already consumed, bring the users to Mary Geoise."
"Like this…"
Kaiser flicked his finger.
Shamrock's sword vibrated, and a Devil Fruit materialized from thin air.
Shamrock's face paled instantly.
The Devil Fruit fused with his sword was the Mythical Zoan, Cerberus—a hellhound of legend.
He hadn't expected Kaiser to extract it with a mere flick of his finger.
Imu, drenched in cold sweat, realized she too was a Devil Fruit user.
If Kaiser could reclaim fruit powers, her eternal youth surgery would be rendered useless.
"Your Majesty…" Shamrock began, but swallowed his words.
"This power is temporarily entrusted to you." Kaiser said.
"You bear the heavy task of recovering Devil Fruits."
"I'll reclaim your powers last."
"I'll stay here."
"Do what needs to be done."
With a wave of his hand, Kaiser dismissed them.
Shamrock and Imu retreated from the Domain of the Gods.
"That man…" Imu started, but Shamrock cut her off.
"Lady Imu." He said gravely.
"On his way here, His Majesty felled Admiral Aokiji with a single glance."
Those words silenced Imu's intended remarks.
A glance that knocked out an Admiral?
No one would believe he wasn't a god.
"In his presence, I had no chance to resist." Shamrock continued, his voice bitter.
"I was instantly restrained, my powers sealed."
"His Majesty's identity… he might truly be a god."
The Celestial Dragons, who fancied themselves gods, had met a true one.
"And his words align with the prophecy, don't they?"
As head of the Figarland family and leader of the God's Knights, Shamrock knew many secrets.
Imu fell silent, his reasoning undeniable.
That heart-stopping power was indeed godlike, demonic even.
"Summon the Five Elders and the God's Knights." Imu ordered.
"We can't delay."
"If His Majesty personally triggers the apocalypse, it won't just be a flood."
Her voice was resigned as she issued an urgent summons to the Five Elders and God's Knights.
"Lady Imu's summons?"
"At the Figarland family's estate?"
"Not the Domain of the Gods?"
The Five Elders frowned.
In all their years, they'd always met Imu in the Domain of the Gods.
Why the Figarland estate now?
"Perhaps it's related to the recent attack." One speculated.
Without further hesitation, they headed to the Figarland estate.
Upon arrival, they found Imu and the God's Knights waiting.
"A god… has descended." Imu declared, her opening words stunning everyone.
"???"
The God's Knights and Five Elders were dumbfounded.
"The disturbance in Mary Geoise was caused by a god's arrival." Imu explained.
"It knocked out many."
"Five Elders, claim it was the God's Knights' training gone awry, causing a Conqueror's Haki outburst."
"I'll handle explanations with Admiral Aokiji."
Shamrock added, "The god has issued a task: recover the Devil Fruits."
"From today, the World Government prioritizes this above all else."
Imu's words deepened their confusion.
"Lady Imu." Said Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, the Warrior God of Scientific Defense, hesitantly.
"There are countless Devil Fruits. Must we recover them all?"
"That's an enormous task."
"It could turn neutral Devil Fruit users against us, which would be disastrous."
"It's the god's command." Imu replied.
"We can't resist unless you seek death."
