Chapter 109 - SS 109: World Ascension, Journey to the Marvel Universe

"Is this the complete Devil Fruit Tree?" Imu asked, gazing at the fruit-laden tree with fascination.

Each fruit represented a fragment of law power.

Swish…

Kaiser appeared beside her.

"Interesting. A few are still missing…"

He studied the Devil Fruit Tree.

Nearly every branch bore fruit, except for a few at the roots and crown.

The tree had grown massive, visible across the world from the heights of Mary Geoise.

Everyone knew it was the work of a god.

"I never thought the Devil Fruit Tree was real." Whitebeard said, seeing it from the New World.

Its swaying fruits were mesmerizing.

"Too beautiful." countless warriors remarked.

"It's like something from myth."

"It seems the World Government wasn't lying this time."

Though stripped of their Devil Fruits, many warriors harbored no resentment.

The loss was universal—what one lost, all lost.

Observing the missing fruits, Kaiser closed his eyes.

His telepathic senses swept the world.

"Found them…"

Snap.

With a snap of his fingers, the final Devil Fruits were drawn by his telepathy, soaring to Mary Geoise and merging into the Devil Fruit Tree.

Hum!

As the last fruits took their place, the tree expanded rapidly.

A thousand meters… ten thousand… a hundred thousand.

It seemed to envelop the entire world.

People gazed at the tree, feeling as if they could touch its fruits.

Boom…

The fruits exploded, beams of light scattering across the world.

"What's this?"

"What's this feeling?"

"It's strange."

"Am I… evolving?"

As the laws returned, the world began to ascend.

Every being felt a baptism, a profound joy radiating from within.

"This was a downgraded world." Kaiser realized.

"No wonder its beings honed their physiques to such extremes."

The absence of laws had caused the issues in the One Piece world.

The Grand Line, New World, and Calm Belts were unnatural, plagued by erratic weather—storms one moment, lightning the next.

These were symptoms of disordered laws clashing.

Now, with the laws restored, the world was normalizing.

"It's… unbelievable… I feel renewed." Whitebeard said, clenching his fist, vitality surging.

Even Big Mom's soul seemed healed, her madness subdued.

Shanks, arriving at Mary Geoise, noticed his own transformation.

His Haki was evolving, even his Conqueror's Haki, previously immutable, beginning to shift.

"Such an unexpected gain." Shanks said with a smile.

His crew benefited too.

Every being's essence transformed.

As the Devil Fruits vanished, the Devil Fruit Tree faded into the world's spatial fabric, invisible once more.

"Is it done, Your Majesty?" Imu asked.

"Yes." Kaiser replied.

"The laws are restored. The apocalyptic crisis is averted."

"You no longer need to fear extreme weather." Kaiser said.

"With the world's will restored, harmony will prevail."

"How you govern this world is your concern."

"I don't interfere in mortal conflicts."

His voice was calm.

He had given Imu the Cosmo cultivation method and seeded its teachings across the world, leaving variables for its future.

The world's upheaval was over, though its structure remained largely unchanged.

The World Government endured, pirates remained pirates.

Everyone had simply returned to a starting point without Devil Fruits.

"I'm off. Perhaps we'll meet again." Kaiser said with a smile, vanishing before Imu.

"Your Majesty…"

Imu watched him disappear, words catching in her throat.

She longed to follow him.

Having glimpsed the heights of divinity, she realized how trivial her dominion over this small world was.

But she relented.

With Kaiser's power, she could offer no aid—not even as cannon fodder.

"We'll meet again, Your Majesty…"

Her gaze hardened with resolve.

The Cosmo cultivation method, a divine gift, was her hope.

Throne of Heroes

Kaiser's figure materialized.

A replica of the Devil Fruit Tree stood within the Throne of Heroes.

"How does this compare to the original?" Kaiser asked, inspecting it.

Though smaller, its law integrity seemed uncompromised.

"Identical." The Throne of Heroes replied.

"A perfect one-to-one replica of the Devil Fruit Tree's essence."

"No differences."

"In fact, it's even more refined than the original."

Relieved, Kaiser dismissed his concerns.

Closing his eyes, he began merging the Devil Fruit Tree with his astral body.

Once fully integrated, his astral body withdrew from the Throne of Heroes, returning to his physical form.

Hum!

Golden Cosmo flared, illuminating the Libra Temple's weapon sanctuary with a divine phenomenon.

Two mystical trees intertwined, fusing.

The World Tree seed sensed the Devil Fruit Tree and began absorbing it.

The Devil Fruit Tree, drawn to the World Tree's potent life energy, merged willingly.

As they fused, the World Tree seed grew stronger, its three fruits—born of the Heaven, Earth, and Human Books—turning a vibrant green.

Transformed by the World Tree, these fruits held greater potential than before.

"Not a bad haul." Kaiser mused, pleased with the World Tree's changes.

"The Devil Fruit Tree's traits have given me direction."

The seed remained in his inner world, not yet sprouted, but the Devil Fruit Tree served as a temporary trunk.

The Heaven, Earth, and Human Books' fruits now hung on its branches.

"If I can incubate all the law fruits on the Devil Fruit Tree." Kaiser pondered, "could I condense a Chaos Godhead?"

The tree's branches were numerous, but incubating all its fruits seemed unlikely.

The existing fruits had been absorbed by the World Tree, which might one day bear even greater Devil Fruits.

A fruit granting godhood, perhaps?

A fleeting thought, but Kaiser had ideas for gathering laws.

When it came to collecting laws, the Marvel Universe was ideal.

Its inhabitants casually manipulated time and space.

Though its foundational laws differed, that posed no issue.

"Time to take a look." Kaiser said, thinking of Wanda, the Infinity Stones, and mutants.

The best method for gathering laws was the X-gene of mutants.

Not all mutants cherished their powers.

In the Marvel Universe, mutant origins had two theories:

First, a Celestial's genes, scattered upon their death on Earth, evolved into mutants over eons.

Second, the Celestials experimented on Earth's beings long ago to create a perfect, powerful race.

The experiments failed, but over time, the altered genes self-perfected, birthing modern mutants.

The Kree Empire's Inhumans were a similar experiment, modeled after the Celestials' work.

Both origins tied to the Celestials, single-universe-level beings in Marvel, akin to first-tier gods in the Saint Seiya world.

They governed the creation and destruction of cosmic systems, viewing even the Infinity Stones as mere tools.

The Marvel Universe was a treasure trove, waiting to be explored.

With his current strength, Kaiser was confident in his safety at this timeline.

"Activate the anchor point." He commanded.

"Take me to the Marvel Universe."

With the World Tree seed and Devil Fruit Tree's fusion complete, his astral body plunged into the Marvel Universe's anchor point without delay.

"Hm?"

"This world's time isn't frozen?"

Kaiser was surprised.

The timeline of his arrival differed from his last departure.

Ding! "Last time, you were summoned as a Heroic Spirit." The Throne of Heroes explained.

"Not as a direct astral body entry."

"Thus, the world didn't pause."

"This time, time will pause relatively."

Ding! "One year has passed since your last visit."

Kaiser exhaled in relief.

A year wasn't too long.

It was manageable.

Sensing Wanda's location, Kaiser teleported before her.

"Who?!"

Wanda's eyes snapped open, her Chaos Magic surging, bathing the room in crimson.

"It's me, Wanda…" Kaiser said.

"Ye Feng?"

Wanda froze, tears welling up.

He had finally returned.

"I told you I'd come back." Kaiser said, stepping forward to gently embrace her.

Her Chaos Magic receded, absorbed back into her body.

"You've grown stronger this past year." He observed, scanning her aura.

"You're touching the edge of the Skyfather level."

Though not yet at Skyfather strength, with her Chaos Magic, the Time Stone, and the Eye of Agamotto, Wanda could now face Skyfather-level beings head-on.

"What's happened on Earth this year?" Kaiser asked.

"Not much." Wanda replied.

"Since Master Ancient One's soul returned to Eternity and you vanished after battling Dormammu, the world's been unusually quiet. Minor incidents, nothing major."

"The Avengers in the United States caused some stir, but it's not serious."

She recounted the year's events calmly.

"Have Thor or Odin sought me out?" Kaiser asked, recalling his deal with Asgard.

"Thor came once." Wanda said.

"I told him you weren't on Earth and your return was uncertain. He left after that."

As friends, Wanda had stood by Thor during his awakening as the God of Thunder.

"Are you leaving again?" She asked, worry flickering in her eyes.

"No." Kaiser smiled.

"I'm here to stay."

This time, he'd arrived as an astral body, syncing the timelines of both worlds.

Even if he left, he'd return to this moment.

"Our next goal is the Infinity Stones, the Pantheon, and the Celestials." He said, ruffling her hair.

"They have what I need to grow stronger."

"I know a bit about the Infinity Stones." Wanda said thoughtfully.

"But the Pantheon and Celestials aren't easy targets. With our current strength, we can't confront them directly. We need a plan."

"Don't worry." Kaiser said with a grin.

"An opportunity is coming."

This world followed a sacred timeline.

Based on its progression, the Avengers were likely nearing the creation of Ultron.

Kaiser had no interest in robots, but the Mind Stone intrigued him.

News of his return to Kamar-Taj spread quickly among the sorcerers.

Many were elated, recalling the Ancient One's words that Kaiser was her equal—a stabilizing force for Kamar-Taj and Earth, especially after his disappearance following the battle with Dormammu.

Thor, on Earth with his girlfriend, also heard of Kaiser's return.

They arranged to meet at a New York diner, connected via Kamar-Taj's sanctum network, making the trip effortless.

"Welcome back, brother!" Thor said, beaming as he embraced Kaiser.

"Been a while." Kaiser replied.

"I hear you joined the Avengers?"

Thanks to Kaiser's and the Sanctum's deterrence, Hydra had abandoned the Insight Project, so S.H.I.E.L.D. still operated.

"Absolutely, brother!" Thor's eyes lit up.

"It's a great group."

He began recounting his Earth adventures.

"I hear the Mind Stone is with S.H.I.E.L.D.." Kaiser interjected.

Thor frowned. "You want the Infinity Stones?"
