Gargoyle, a genus, belonged to the Automaton family in the Kingdom of Man. Technically speaking they weren't natural beings but purely an artificial product of other families inside the five kingdoms.
Back in his Siderius' old world, humans exclusively led the creation of Automaton and most of the existing Automaton served human society. Because of that, Automaton was categorized under the Kingdom of Man.
Other Kingdoms had also tried to replicate this. Especially Kingdom of Chaos, which witches created their own versions that they called Puppet. However, their creation was never able to match that of the Kingdom of Man.
