A loud silence stretched over the crowd.
Amanda's eyes slowly turned back to Anthony in disbelief.
At that point, Lucian and Talia arrived.
Both scions immediately noticed the silent tension in the air.
"You want me to let him go?" she asked quietly.
Morgan stared for a few moments, then let out a heavy sigh and slowly nodded.
" Yes. We've come to...an agreement of sorts."
Amanda clenched her fist, trembling slightly.
Her eyes glowed ominously, her gaze hardening.
Lucian fought back a grin.
"Oh, oh, she looks seriously pissed."
" Well, those two have a bit of a violent history," Cassius murmured, flexing his arms slightly.
"They're not exactly on the best of terms."
" Yep, that's true!" Kelia piped up, smiling ecstatically.
Cassius threw her a furtive, distracted glance, raising an eyebrow.
"And who exactly are you supposed to be?"
Kelia pouted in disappointment.
"I feel insulted."
Cassius gave her a questioning look.
