Inside the dark interior, a young man with silver-trimmed dark hair and a sharp, aristocratic profile glanced out at the assembled students.
His eyes swept over the crowd with cold, disinterest lingering for a brief second on Xander Gray, then on Talia Varas, before continuing on toward the private sector.
He didn't even acknowledge Lucian.
He simply watched the black car disappear around the bend of the paved drive, his expression remaining completely unreadable.
"Well," Xander said, breaking the silence with a dry, quiet laugh as he adjusted his jacket collar.
"The neighbors are moving in. We should probably go clean the blood off our training gear before the Headmaster calls an all-hands assembly."
"Don't break any more ribs today, Lucian," Talia said, turning on her heel.
