Chapter 265: Kage-Level Puppet
"Of course it's a puppet. All thanks to your help."
Sasuke smiled, kindly thanking him. All these mecha puppets were modifications of puppets captured from Sunagakure, especially Ebizō's mirror puppets, which were their main components.
"Damn it!", Ebizō contemplated the layers of mirror armor covering the mechs, his eyes filled with rage. "Kill!"
Controlling ten Chikamatsu puppets, he attacked from different angles. "One Hundred Shots as Raindrops!"
The puppet on the left took the lead. A rain of metallic spears erupted from its joints, piercing the air. Sasuke crossed his arms, unperturbed. A mech blocked his path, and with a metallic sound, easily withstood the attack.
As a former master of the mirror puppet, Ebizō knew its terrifying defensive capabilities. His intention was simply to interrupt and block vision. At that moment, two other puppets unleashed a powerful hurricane and scorching flames, a terrifying combined attack that surpassed the power of an A-rank Fire Style technique.
"Go to hell!", he launched his attack with a deadly move. In the desert, Sasuke's death was certain.
"Chakra Shield!"
Two mechs stood in front of them; their storage engines emitted a red light, creating a purple energy shield that easily blocked the flames.
"What? What kind of defensive ninjutsu is this?", Ebizō's pupils shrank. He had never seen anything like it.
"Let's see how much chakra you have?", he immediately perceived the shield's weakness and unleashed another combined attack.
"Ebizō, I don't have much chakra, but it's more than enough to consume you, old man." The mecha puppet showed no intention of saving energy and counterattacked. "Furious Wind Cut!", it spun, transforming into a gigantic windmill blade.
"Diamond Shield!", Ebizō quickly manipulated a puppet to block it.
But there was a loud crunch. The shield, which was supposed to protect against all physical attacks, shattered.
How was that possible?, he thought, surprised. Was it made entirely of chakra metal?
Sasuke was unaware of what Ebizō was thinking. Although these nine greatswords were not made of pure chakra metal, they had been extracted from the Decapitating Sword, which made them just as powerful. In addition, he had incorporated meteorite into these blades, which increased their resistance to energy shields.
Another loud crunch. The blade, after shattering the shield, sliced the puppet in two. The resistance gave Ebizō time to react, narrowly dodging the blow.
"Secret Technique: Water Syrup Bullet!"
Sasuke took the opportunity to break the chakra threads, causing the Chikamatsu puppets to lose control and spit out a torrent of large sticky syrup balls. Ebizō quickly released the chakra threads to reconnect with the puppets, but it was too late. Two of them were stuck to the sand.
He controlled the remaining ones, quickly moving away.
"Ebizō, do you really think you have the speed advantage?", Sasuke laughed. The wings of the mecha puppets unfolded and, under the impulse of the engine, flew agilely.
"What? They can really fly!", Ebizō observed. These puppets don't even need chakra threads?
"Scorpion Poison Storm!"
He manipulated a puppet to release a torrent of poison, preventing further attacks.
"It's just scorpion poison! Keep attacking!", Sasuke waved his hand, unperturbed.
"What kind of monster are you?! How dare you be so resistant to poison?!", Ebizō thought. It was a secret poison developed by Chiyo, almost as potent as Hanzō's.
"Super Strength!", Sasuke burst through the poisonous mist. Holding Samehada in one hand, he delivered a powerful punch to a Kinmatsu puppet, shattering it to pieces.
"Tsunade's super strength, and it's much more powerful!", Ebizō was horrified. He quickly controlled the puppets to move away.
"Huh? It looks like we can't wait any longer." At that moment, Sasuke felt a huge wave of chakra descending from the sky. "Bunpuku?!", and with him, Ruriyu and Arashi.
"Chakra Cannon, attack with all your might!"
Nine mechs equipped with cannons appeared. Beams of chakra, like long-range Rasengans, bombarded Ebizō. Faced with such a powerful attack, he had nowhere to hide.
"Stop!"
"Wind Style: Air Training!"
A high-density chakra cannon launched an attack, trying to interrupt Sasuke. It was Bunpuku. Faced with such a terrifying cannon, Sasuke's expression changed, but he did not give up and took down Ebizō with his final blow.
"Defend yourselves!"
The three mecha puppets activated their shields to the maximum, blocking Sasuke. The power of the chakra bomb broke two layers of shields, leaving the last one vulnerable.
"Water Style: Water Cutting Wave!"
While the last shield remained intact, Sasuke unleashed a high-pressure jet of water, hitting Ebizō. His combat instincts were extraordinary, but the chakra discharge slowed him down, preventing him from dodging. With a hiss, the jet of water severed his legs.
Time seemed to stop. His body continued to move forward, but his feet remained stuck in the sand. However, Ebizō held firm, manipulating his puppet to replace the lost legs and continue his movement.
Sasuke tried to continue his attack, but the third layer of his chakra shield was shattered by a gust of air. Boom! The gust shattered the shield and impacted the mecha puppet, even cracking the mirror armor.
"Ahem! So strong!", Sasuke stood in the dust cloud, and sticky armor pieces fell from his body.
