Aveline held her body stiffly, as Atlas walked up to her
He was the last person she expected to come into the garden. But he had, and now she didn't know how to act.
"How are you, Aveline?" He asked, standing in front of her.
She looked up, so she could see his face closely.
"So handsome," she thought a little recklessly.
"Can I sit?" His gaze rested on the empty space next to her.
"Yeah sure."
He moved around her, and sat down.
"Is the wedding not to your taste? Would you have preferred something more?" He asked after sitting.
"Oh no! I really enjoyed every moment of it. I was just overwhelmed a little, and my feet hurt, so I decided to come here for a second," she explained.
"You like the fountain?"
"It's beautiful," she whispered breathlessly.
"There's one at my house too," he said.
"Really?" Her eyes sparkled with interest.
He let out a laugh before he could hold back.
This was what he missed the most. Her random outbursts. They were the cutest thing.
