Atlas was stepping out when he encountered both Riley, and Freya coming into the house.
"What are you two doing here?" He stopped abruptly at the door.
"Step out of the way. We're here to see, Aveline." Riley said.
"Didn't you both leave her on the balcony yesterday?" He eyed them both.
"That was a huge mistake. Can you just move? We're not here for you," Freya said.
"Fine," he shrugged. "I was leaving anyway. But you both better be gone by the time I'm back."
Riley rolled her eyes as she shoved right through him.
"Move?" Freya said, acting more civilised.
He shook his head, as he moved away from the door and went to his car.
Atlas had already driven out when it dawned on him that his cousins were about to see he didn't share a room with Aveline.
"Well that's her burden to bear," he muttered bitterly, still deeply in his feelings.
A few minutes later, he had picked up Theo, and he was now driving to a different destination.
