"Aveline, I'm talking to you!"
She slammed the door in his face, and swiftly locked it with the keys.
Without stopping, Aveline walked straight to her bathroom, and turned on the shower.
She didn't even give herself a moment of thought. Because even the mere act of thinking, had become a tiresome burden.
Atlas couldn't believe his eyes as he stared at her door she had slammed in his face.
"Aveline," he muttered under his breath, before turning and walking to his own room..

The next morning, Joanne was going up the stairs with a package in her hand when she encountered Atlas who was coming down the stairs.
"Good morning sir," she said as she tried to hide the package behind her.
But it was too late, as Atlas had already seen it. "What is that?" He asked.
"It's something Mrs Aveline ordered for yesterday. It just arrived this morning," she lied.
"Oh is that so?"
She nodded, as her heart thumped heavily against her chest.
"Alright then. I'm leaving."
"So early sir?"
