"Don't." Dominic's hand shot out, grabbing my wrist before I could move. "Sam, don't."
"She knows things." I looked at him. "Things only Silver Claw would know. The markings are real. Her blood is silver. What more proof do you need?"
"I need to know she won't get my family killed!" His grip tightened. "Please. Just listen to me this once. Something's wrong. I can feel it."
"You feel wrong about everyone." Killian's voice cut in. "Maybe your instincts are off."
"My instincts have kept us alive this long!"
"Barely! And only because Sam and I have been picking up your slack!"
"My slack?!" Dominic rounded on him. "I'm the one who’s been keeping the pack from falling apart while you've been coughing up blood and making eyes at my wife!"
"Here we go again." Killian's voice went flat. "Can't have one conversation without you bringing that up."
