Chapter 197 - CHAPTER 197:Overbearing Hypnosis!

"Well, Shiraha, this Gigai was made exactly to your specifications. I'll have you know, it took quite a bit of effort. How does it feel?"

In the courtyard behind the Urahara Shop, Kisuke's voice carried a familiar teasing lilt as he adjusted his striped hat, eyes half-hidden beneath its shadow.

Shiraha stood before him, already inside the new Gigai. His attire mirrored his Shinigami form—white haori, calm posture, and Zanpakutō sheathed at his waist. The sensation was almost seamless, his body responding with a natural fluidity that betrayed Kisuke's craftsmanship.

"It's impressive," Shiraha said after a moment, flexing his fingers slightly. "Far superior to the Gigai developed by the Technology Development Bureau."

A faint smile tugged at Kisuke's lips. "Well, that's good to hear. Though remember—it's a temporary body. After ten days, it'll dissolve on its own. You'll only be able to use about one-tenth of your normal Reiatsu, but Zanpakutō function should remain stable. I even adjusted the system so you won't need a Soul Candy to separate."

"That's exactly what I wanted," Shiraha replied, satisfied.

"Ah, that reminds me," Kisuke added, rubbing his fingers together with mock greed. "Since I spent an entire hour on this custom order, shouldn't I get a little compensation?"

Without a word, Shiraha tossed a small pouch his way. It landed neatly in Kisuke's palm. The shopkeeper peeked inside, and his grin widened immediately—the glittering currency of the Soul Society, "Rin."

"As expected of a noble of the Kuchiki clan," Kisuke chuckled, closing the pouch with delight. "Such generosity! Please, do patronize my humble shop more often."

Ignoring his antics, Shiraha's eyes narrowed slightly. "Mr. Urahara, I'd like to test this Gigai's performance."

"Hm?" Kisuke blinked. "Test?"

"Bakudō #61 — Rikujōkōrō."

Six beams of light burst from Shiraha's outstretched hand, slamming into Kisuke and locking his body in place.

"Whoa there!" Kisuke flared his Reiatsu with a brief pulse, and the golden beams shattered into scattering motes of light.

"Only one-tenth of my previous strength, then," Shiraha murmured. He wasn't disappointed—creating a functioning Gigai in a single hour was already remarkable.

Kisuke fanned himself lazily with his small white fan. "Naturally. If you gave me a week, I could craft one capable of half your full power."

"That won't be necessary," Shiraha said, shaking his head. "This will do."

He wasn't here to fight—just to complete his mission. Once the seven days were up, the Gigai's purpose would be fulfilled.

"Miss Yoruichi, we're going."

A black blur shot out from the shadows, landing gracefully in his arms. The black cat's golden eyes gleamed in the sunlight.

"Ah, off so soon?" Kisuke asked, half-curious.

Without answering, Shiraha vanished with Cang, leaving only a whisper of displaced air behind.

Kisuke lowered his fan thoughtfully. "Tessai, did I forget to mention to Shiraha that Abarai Renji went to visit Kurosaki today?"

"Yes, Manager," Tessai replied in his deep, measured voice.

Kisuke's eyes curved into amused crescents. "Ah well. I suppose he'll find out on his own."

Moments later, Shiraha appeared outside Karakura First High School, Yoruichi nestled comfortably in his arms. The morning air was still, and the grounds were nearly empty.

"Brother Shiraha," Yoruichi said, her voice laced with suspicion. "You went through all that trouble just to come here?"

"Of course," Shiraha replied smoothly. "I have to remain in this world for two months. I might as well experience its… school life."

Yoruichi's tail flicked. "You're lying. You saw something with that ability of yours, didn't you?"

"You think too much," Shiraha said, chuckling softly as he pinched her ear. "I'm simply bored."

"Fine," Yoruichi huffed. "Then what's your plan?"

"You'll see soon enough."

Closing his eyes, Shiraha expanded his spiritual perception—Observation Haki tracing through the building until he located the principal's office. With a flicker of Cang, he vanished.

Inside the office, a middle-aged man sat behind a desk, immersed in paperwork. The air shimmered faintly, and Shiraha appeared silently before him.

"Who—who are you?! How did you get in here?" the man stammered, staring at the white-haired figure and the talking black cat perched on his arm.

"Hypnosis."

Shiraha's ice-blue eyes gleamed faintly as his calm voice flowed like water. "Don't you remember? I'm Kuchiki Shiraha. You recruited me personally from Naruki City to teach ancient etiquette to Class 1-3. Today's my first day."

The man's pupils dilated. His gaze lost focus, then cleared again—filled with cordial warmth. "Ah! Mr. Shiraha, yes, yes—welcome! I've been expecting you!"

"Brother Shiraha…" Yoruichi murmured in shock. "You didn't use any spiritual power just now. What did you do to him?"

The principal suddenly froze, his eyes flicking toward the talking cat. "The cat—it's talking!"

"You will ignore the conversation between us," Shiraha said smoothly.

The principal's eyes glazed again, expression slackening.

"Nothing to worry about," Shiraha said lightly, stroking Yoruichi's fur. "It's just Hypnosis."

The technique—born from the DIO template—was unlike any standard Kidō or illusion. It could completely override the will of any human without spiritual power, rewriting their memories and bending perception itself.

In truth, it was more absolute than Kyōka Suigetsu.

"With just one look," Shiraha thought, "their body and mind become mine to command."

Yoruichi's golden eyes widened. "Hypnosis? You mean—something like Aizen's Kyōka Suigetsu?"

"Not quite," Shiraha replied calmly. "For now, I can only affect ordinary humans. But soon… who knows how far this power will reach."
