"Solnyshko, I am waiting for my gift." Alexei casually dropped the sentence as he walked out of their bedroom with the exorcist following close behind.
Then, he turned around and started walking backward, nearly making Elijah fall into his arms with his sudden movements.
Was the boy talking about the reward he promised to give after the results? Elijah silently pondered until the young master cleared his confusion.
"My birthday is on April 7th, Elijah. You do remember that, right?"
Elijah, in fact, had no clue.
But he possibly couldn't say that when Alexei was staring at him with such expectant eyes.
Those blue eyes would really be the cause of his demise.
Ironically, the always-cautious him found such a notion rather precious, something he wanted to cherish for a long time without losing it.
But birthday...
Come to think of it, he never checked it. He wasn't that active on social media, nor was he involved in any groups that would mention such casual matters.
