Elijah found himself perched near the bathroom sink while Alexei carefully cleaned his face with a towel.
The metallic stench made Alexei's face taut.
He clearly hated what he had done earlier. His eyelashes were lowered, hiding the complicated emotions swirling in his deep blue eyes.
"I think it's already clean," Elijah said. His voice was low and yet sounded loud in the silent bathroom.
Alexei studied his clean face before rinsing the towel with warm water and wiping it again.
Only then did he feel satisfied.
Just as Elijah was about to jump down from the counter, Alexei grabbed his waist, holding him in place.
"Stay here."
Then the young master went to grab a dry towel and some face cream.
Elijah was even more baffled.
His skin tended to get dehydrated in cold weather.
The dryness would cause cracks in his skin, and his lips would turn stiff as layers peeled off.
Since living with Alexei, the number of moisturizer creams in their home had increased.
