Alpha Blake's POV
A guard opens my car's door. I come out of the car.
"Alpha Blake," a voice calls out from the entrance of the hotel.
"Alpha Carlos," I reply, as he approaches me. We embrace each other.
"I'm glad to see you," he says, as we start heading inside. "I thought you wouldn't show up, at a point."
I nod. "I'm glad to see you, too," I say, itching my eyebrow. "Why wasn't I informed of this impromptu meeting, earlier than yesterday?"
"It's an urgent one, Alpha Blake. The humans are claiming parts of our lands. They are breaching the agreement we had with them over a century ago," Carlos say, giving me a fax. "Take a look at that. A message from humans."
I stare at it. They are asking us to retreat. What the hell?
My grip tighten on the fax. How dare humans think we are scared of them?
"Other Alphas are suggesting we retreat for the sake of peace—"
