Mike read the first lines and paused. He'd never actually thought about it too much. He was curious, but he just assumed that it was some other amp he could achieve, or something along those lines. Now, though, he guessed that assessment was wrong.

[Growth is the accumulation of strength through levels, stats, skills, and experience gained through struggle and achievement. Evolution is change.] Mike's expression slowly turned serious.
[If growth is "how much stronger have you become?", evolution is "what kind of being are you becoming?".
Evolution is a fundamental shift in the Host's nature, expression, and direction. It restructured how existing traits interact, how abilities are used and manifested, and determines the shape of future growth. Once chosen, an evolution cannot be undone.
