Chapter 82 - Vacations with Girlfriends-2

They went to the Louvre on Tuesday afternoon and spent three hours moving through rooms that seemed almost incomprehensibly full of human effort and ambition, the accumulated residue of centuries of people deciding that some things were worth making perfectly. Monica stopped for a long time in front of one particular painting, a Dutch interior, domestic and luminous and said nothing, and nobody asked her to. Madhuri and Aishwarya drifted ahead and came back, and the four of them gathered again in front of it, and Adil stood beside Monica and looked at what she was looking at, the quality of the painted light inside the frame, the feeling it produced of a moment suspended outside of time.

"It's the light," Monica said finally, as if continuing a thought she had been having for the previous fifteen minutes. "They understood something about light that we are still trying to learn."

"Cinematographers know it," Adil said.

She considered this. "Yes," she said. "The good ones."

By mid-afternoon Monica had declared she had reached her limit of art consumption and required sustenance, and they found a brasserie two streets from the museum and sat for two hours with wine and the remnants of a cheese plate, talking about nothing that had anything to do with work or industry or any of the things that usually occupied their conversations. Madhuri and Aishwarya fell into a long exchange about their childhoods; Madhuri in Pune, Aishwarya in Mangalore, the particular textures of growing up in cities that were not Bombay, the specific smells and sounds and rhythms of lives before the industry had found them. Monica listened with her chin in her hand and occasional interjections, and Adil listened from across the table and watched the three of them becoming, quietly and without effort, something more than the sum of their individual connections to him.

In the evenings they ate long dinners at the restaurants Monica had identified during her three days of advance reconnaissance. She had strong opinions about each one, delivered without apology, this kitchen understood acidity, that one was technically accomplished but emotionally inert, the bread in this place alone was worth the visit and her opinions were almost always correct, which she accepted as a matter of course rather than satisfaction. Madhuri and Aishwarya gradually began to defer to her ordering suggestions, and Monica accepted this too with composure, though Adil noticed a particular quality to her attention when Aishwarya tried something she had recommended and her face registered approval. Monica cared about the people she liked experiencing pleasure correctly. It was one of the things he had always appreciated about her.

After dinner they would walk back along the river, the four of them, with the city lit around them in the cold clear air. Paris at night in winter had a particular quality, the light from the brasseries fell warm and amber onto the wet streets, the bridges were strung with lamps that reflected in the black water below, and the cold air sharpened everything so that the city felt almost crystalline, each detail precise and particular. They walked without rushing. Monica and Madhuri walked ahead sometimes, their voices low and occasional, and Adil and Aishwarya walked behind, sometimes talking and sometimes not, and it was equally comfortable either way.

On the second evening, halfway across one of the smaller bridges, Monica stopped and leaned her forearms on the stone parapet and looked down at the water and said, to no one in particular, "I want to remember exactly this. The specific feeling of exactly this."

Madhuri stopped beside her and looked down too. "You don't need to remember it," she said. "We can come back."

"It won't be the same," Monica said. "It's only ever exactly this once."

She wasn't wrong. Adil stood a little behind them and looked at the water and thought about that, and then he looked at Aishwarya beside him, and she was looking at Monica with an expression he recognized, the expression of someone who has just found an unexpected mirror.

These were good evenings. On the third evening, Madhuri and Monica went out after dinner to a small jazz club that Monica had read about in a magazine on the flight over and had been mentioning with increasing frequency, a basement venue somewhere in the sixth arrondissement where a particular pianist played a late set on Tuesday nights. Aishwarya had been yawning since dessert, and Adil had no particular feeling about jazz that evening, and so the arrangement was settled easily and naturally, the way things settle between people who have stopped performing consideration for each other and have simply started doing what makes sense.

The hotel room was warm and quiet when Aishwarya came back twenty minutes after Adil, having changed out of her dinner clothes into something simple, a soft kurta in pale cotton, her hair loose around her shoulders. She was holding a cup of tea that the hotel kitchen had produced when she asked for it, the staff slightly surprised by the request but accommodating. She crossed the room and stood at the tall window that looked out over the narrow street below, where a lone car passed slowly on wet cobblestones and a café on the corner was still lit, its windows steamed from inside.

She looked at the street for a while without saying anything.

"Tell me something," she said finally, without turning.

"What?" Adil Asked.

"When you told me to wait. About the film offers." She turned to look at him then, leaning her shoulder against the window frame, the lamplight catching one side of her face and leaving the other in soft shadow. "What are you actually planning?"

He looked at her for a moment. There was no evasion in how she asked it, just the direct, uncomplicated curiosity of someone who trusted enough to want to understand.

"Something worthy of you," he said simply.

She watched him. "That is not an answer."

"It is the only answer I have right now that is also completely true," he said. "The shape of it is clear. The specific details are still forming. I didn't want you committed elsewhere while they formed."

She considered this, turning the cup of tea slowly in her hands. Outside, someone on the street below laughed at something, a brief, bright sound that rose and then was gone.

"You know," she said quietly, looking down at the tea, "in college. When I joined the class." She paused, and there was something careful in how she was choosing to say this, as if she had thought about it before and was only now deciding to say it out loud. "Everyone talked about you. The girls, the boys. You were the person everyone knew. Most handsome and Talented, already becoming famous, and well." A small, slightly self-conscious pause. "I thought you would be arrogant. I had decided you would be arrogant before I ever spoke to you, because in my experience that was how it worked. People who had everything and knew it."

"And then?" he asked.

"And then I met you." She looked up at him. "You helped everyone. You remembered people's names. You sat in the back of the lecture hall with everyone else and asked questions and took notes. You were ordinary. In the best possible sense. Like someone who had simply not noticed there was supposed to be a different way to behave." She shook her head slightly. "I didn't know what to do with that. It wasn't what I had prepared for. So I started paying attention to you instead. Watching how you moved through things. And the more I paid attention, the more I found that it wasn't a performance. You were just, actually like that."

She stopped. The room was very quiet. "My interest kept increasing," she said softly. "Until I stopped noticing the difference between paying attention to you and thinking about you constantly. Which happened somewhere around the third week of term, if I'm being honest."

He looked at her for a long moment. Outside, the city continued its quiet winter life , the distant sound of traffic, the rain beginning again against the window glass, the amber glow of the café across the street.

"I noticed you from the first day," he said. "Not only because you were... " he paused, looking for the word that was not the obvious word "...because you were extraordinary beautiful, which you were, but because of how you walked into a room full of people who already knew each other and simply found somewhere to sit and opened your notebook and started writing. Like you had nothing to prove. Like being new somewhere was simply a neutral fact rather than a disadvantage." He paused. "Everyone else was looking at the room. You were looking at what you came to do. I found that clarifying. Attractive, in a way that had nothing to do with how you looked."

Aishwarya was quiet for a while. "I miss those days," she said finally. Simply.

"So do I," he said.

The rain was coming down more steadily now. She turned back to the window and watched it for a moment, the water running down the glass in slow, irregular lines, the street below dark and wet and empty.

"I'm sorry," he said.

She turned to look at him, genuinely surprised. "For what?"

"For telling you to reject the offers without explaining why." He met her eyes. "I know what I was doing was directing your career without your full understanding of the reasons, and you are not someone who needs or wants to be directed without reasons. You make your own decisions. You have always made your own decisions and made them well. I asked you to suspend that for my sake and I didn't give you enough to work with."

She looked at him for a long moment.

"Adil," she said quietly. "There is nothing to be angry at." There was no impatience in it, no reassurance performed for his benefit. Just the plain statement of a thing she meant. "If anything" she paused, looking for the right word, "it meant something to me. That you wanted me for whatever you're planning enough to ask me to wait. That you care enough about where I go next to have an opinion about it." She set the teacup down on the windowsill and looked at him directly. "I know you. I know the way your mind works. If you believe your story suits me, then it suits me. Don't apologize for that again."

He looked at her and didn't say anything for a moment.

She was standing with her back to the window, the lamplight behind her, her hair loose and her face open and the rain coming down in the darkness beyond the glass. She looked, in that moment, as she sometimes looked when she was not thinking about how she looked, like someone who had arrived somewhere without quite meaning to and found it suited them exactly.

He crossed the room. Not quickly, not with any particular ceremony. Just the few steps of distance closed. She watched him come and did not move back.

He raised one hand and touched her face very gently, his thumb against her cheekbone, his fingers brushing the edge of her jaw and felt her exhale slowly, the slight release of breath that is not quite a sigh. Her eyes stayed on his. Dark and very direct and entirely present.

He lowered his face to hers. She tilted her chin up the smallest degree, meeting him halfway. When their lips met it was slow and certain, the kind of kiss that has been a long time coming and knows it, not urgent but completely sure of itself. He felt her hand come up and rest against his chest, her fingers curling slightly into the fabric of his shirt, not pulling, just resting, as if she needed to know he was real. He brought his other hand to her waist and she stepped closer, narrowing what small distance remained between them, and the kiss deepened without hurry into something warmer, more complete.

Outside the rain fell on the old stones of Paris and the café light across the street made a warm blurred shape in the wet dark and the Seine ran cold and unhurried somewhere beyond the rooftops.

He pulled back slowly, and their foreheads came to rest together in the space after, both of them very still, both of them breathing a little more carefully than before. He could feel the warmth of her and smell the faint fragrance of whatever she had worn to dinner and the particular clean scent underneath that was simply hers.

"I have wanted to do that for quite a long time," he said quietly, against her temple.

She laughed, a soft, private sound, meant only for this room and this moment.

"I know," she said. "So have I."

Adil looked at her, his eyes dark with desire. "I want you," he whispered, his voice low and rough with need.

Aishwarya shivered, her heart pounding in her chest. She wanted him too, more than anything. But she was nervous, unsure of what to do.

As if sensing her hesitation, Adil took her hand and led her to the bed. He sat down and pulled her into his lap, his hands roaming over her body, caressing her curves through the soft fabric of her kurta.

Aishwarya gasped, her body coming alive under his touch. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing herself closer to him.

Adil leaned in and captured her lips in a searing kiss, his tongue delving into her mouth, exploring every inch of her. After a while they seperated.

"Adil..." she whispered, her voice trembling with need.

Hearing her seductive voice, Adil once again leaned in and captured her lips in a searing kiss, his tongue delving into her mouth, tasting her sweetness. Aishwarya moaned, pressing herself closer to him.

Slowly, Adil pushed the kurta off her shoulders, letting it pool at her feet. He stepped back, drinking in the sight of her naked form, bathed in the soft glow of the lamplight.

"You're beautiful," he breathed, Adil gazed down at Aishwarya's naked form, his eyes dark with lust.

Aishwarya blushed, but there was no shame in her nakedness, only anticipation. She watched as Adil began to undress, his muscles flexing beneath his skin as he removed each article of clothing.

When he was fully nude, Aishwerya instinctively touched his Eight pack abs."You have such a nuce body" She complimented. Adil felt proud. Then she loqered her gaze towards his cock. Aishwarya's eyes widened at the sight of his impressive erection. It's so large and thick, She thought. The thought of him inside her made her ache with need.

As Aishwarya touches his abs, Adil trailed a finger along her collarbone, down between her breasts, stopping just above her navel. She shivered under his touch, her nipples hardening into tight buds.

"I want to taste every inch of you," he murmured, his voice low and rough with desire.

Aishwarya bit her lip, her heart pounding in anticipation. She had never felt like this before, so desperate, so needy.

Slowly, Adil kissed his way down her body, his lips soft and warm against her skin. He paused at her breasts, taking each nipple into his mouth in turn, sucking and licking until Aishwarya was writhing beneath him.

"Please," she gasped, not even sure what she was begging for. She just knew she needed more.

Adil continued his descent, kissing over her stomach, dipping his tongue into her navel. He reached the apex of her thighs and paused, inhaling deeply.

"You smell divine," he growled, his eyes locked on her most intimate area.

Aishwarya blushed, but her embarrassment quickly turned to pleasure as Adil's tongue delved between her folds. He licked and sucked at her clit, sending shockwaves of ecstasy through her body.

"Oh god, yes," she moaned, tangling her fingers in his hair. "Don't stop."

Adil didn't intend to. He feasted on her like a starving man, his tongue delving deep inside her, tasting her essence. Aishwarya's hips bucked against his face, seeking more friction.

Just as she was about to reach her peak, Adil pulled back. Aishwarya whimpered at the loss, but it was quickly replaced by a gasp as Adil's finger replaced his tongue.

He pumped it in and out of her, curling them just right to hit that spot that made her see stars. His mouth closed over her clit once more, and that was it. Aishwarya came with a scream, her body convulsing as wave after wave of pleasure crashed over her.

Adil gazed at Aishwarya, his heart swelling with love and desire. He had wanted this moment for so long, to finally make her his in every way.

"You just came yet, Still you're this horny," he murmured, his voice low and rough with desire.

Aishwarya bit her lip, embarrassed but turned on by his words. "I want you," she whispered.

Adil groaned, positioning himself between her legs. He rubbed the head of his cock against her entrance, coating himself in her juices.

"Are you ready?" he asked, his voice strained with the effort of holding back.

Aishwarya nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. "Yes," she breathed. "Please, Adil. I'm ready."

Slowly, carefully, Adil pushed forward, feeling her tight walls stretch to accommodate him. There was a moment of resistance, and then he was inside her, feeling her heat enveloping him.

Aishwarya gasped, her nails digging into his back as a sharp pain shot through her. It was brief, but intense, and she couldn't help but let out a small hiss as he broke through her hymen.

Adil stilled, giving her time to adjust. "Shh, it's okay," he murmured, pressing soft kisses to her face. "Just breathe."

Aishwarya nodded, taking deep breaths as the pain subsided. She could feel a trickle of blood between her legs, a testament to her innocence.

"Keep going," she whispered, looking up at Adil with trust and love in her eyes. "I need you."

Adil began to move again, slowly at first, letting her feel every inch of him. He took his time, savoring the sensation of her tightness around him.

As Aishwarya grew more comfortable, Adil picked up the pace, thrusting deeper, harder. The pain faded, replaced by pleasure unlike anything she had ever experienced.

They moved together, their bodies in perfect sync, lost in a world of pure sensation. The bed creaked beneath them, the sound mixing with their moans and cries of ecstasy.

Adil could feel Aishwarya tightening around him, her body on the brink of orgasm. He reached between them, his fingers finding her clit and rubbing in tight circles.

"Come for me," he commanded, his voice strained with his own impending release. "I want to feel you come around my cock."

Aishwarya obeyed, her body shaking as a mind-blowing orgasm overtook her. Adil followed soon after, burying himself deep inside her as he found his own release.

They collapsed onto the bed, both panting and sweaty. Adil gathered Aishwarya into his arms, holding her close as they both came down from their high.

"That was incredible.." Aishwarya started, but she couldn't find the words.

Adil gazed down at Aishwarya's flushed face, a mixture of pride and desire swirling in his eyes. She looked radiant, her skin glistening with sweat, her hair a tousled mess around her shoulders.

"Yes, it was," he murmured, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

Aishwarya smiled up at him, her eyes shining with love and satisfaction. "You're very strong," she whispered.

But Adil wasn't done with her yet. He wanted to explore every inch of her body, to bring her to heights of pleasure she had never experienced before.

He rolled onto his back, bringing Aishwarya with him so that she was straddling his hips. She gasped as she felt his hardness pressing against her sensitive flesh.

"I want to see you ride me," Adil said, his voice low and husky with desire. "I want to watch you take your pleasure."

Aishwarya bit her lip, nervous but excited by the prospect. She lifted her hips and positioned herself over him, feeling the head of his cock nudging her entrance.

Slowly, she sank down, taking him inside her inch by delicious inch. They both moaned as she enveloped him, her tight walls gripping him like a velvet glove.

Aishwarya began to move, rocking her hips back and forth. She started slowly, savoring the sensation of him filling her so completely.

But as the pleasure built, she picked up the pace, riding him harder, faster. Her breasts bounced with each thrust, and Adil reached up to cup them, rolling her nipples between his fingers.

"That's it, baby," he groaned, his hips snapping up to meet hers. "Take what you need."

Aishwarya lost herself in the rhythm, in the feel of Adil beneath her, around her, inside her. She could feel another orgasm building, coiling tighter and tighter in her belly.

She leaned forward, changing the angle of their coupling, and cried out as Adil hit a spot that made stars explode behind her eyelids.

"Yes, just like that," Adil growled, his hands gripping her hips hard enough to leave bruises. "Fuck, you feel so good."

Aishwarya's climax crashed over her like a tidal wave, her body shaking and spasming as she came hard around him. Adil followed soon after, spilling himself deep inside her with a hoarse cry of her name.

They collapsed together, both panting and spent. But Adil was far from done. He rolled them over, pinning Aishwarya beneath him.

"I'm going to make you come on my tongue," he promised, his voice rough with lust. "I'm going to taste you until you scream my name."

Aishwarya shivered at the promise in his words, her body already responding to his touch. Adil kissed his way down her body, nipping and sucking at her skin until he reached the apex of her thighs.

He paused there, inhaling deeply. "God, you smell amazing," he groaned. "I could eat this sweet pussy all day long."

Aishwarya whimpered, already aching for his touch. Adil didn't make her wait long. He spread her legs wider and dove in, his tongue delving deep into her folds.

He licked and sucked at her clit, alternating between soft flicks and hard sucks that made Aishwarya see stars. He brought her to the edge again and again, only to pull back at the last moment, denying her release.

"Please, Adil," she begged, her voice hoarse and desperate. "I need to come."

Adil chuckled against her flesh, the vibrations sending shockwaves through her. "Not yet, baby," he murmured. "I'm not done with you."

He continued his sensual assault, bringing her to the brink of madness with his skilled tongue. Just when Aishwarya thought she couldn't take anymore, Adil sealed his lips around her clit and sucked hard.

That was all it took. Aishwarya flew apart with a scream, her body convulsing as wave after wave of pleasure crashed over her. Adil licked her through it, prolonging her orgasm until she was boneless and spent.

But still, he didn't stop. He kissed his way back up her body, his hard cock nudging her entrance.

"One more time," he panted, He positioned her to bend down. "I want to fuck you from behind."

Aishwarya could only nod, too lost in pleasure to form words. Adil pushed into her from behind, filling her in one smooth stroke.

He set a relentless pace, pounding her ass with every stroke. Aishwarya met him thrust for thrust, her hips lifting to take him deeper.

She could feel another orgasm building, faster this time, more intense. Adil must have felt it too, because he reached between them and rubbed her clit in tight circles.

"Come on, baby," he urged, his voice strained with effort. "Let go for me. I want to feel you squeeze my cock."

Aishwarya came with a shout, her body clamping down around him like a vise. Adil followed seconds later, spilling himself inside her with a hoarse cry of her name.

They collapsed together, both sweaty and spent. Adil gathered Aishwarya into his arms, pressing soft kisses to her face as they both came down from their high.

"That was..." Aishwarya started, but she couldn't find the words.

"Amazing," Adil finished for her, pressing a tender kiss to her lips. "You are amazing."

They lay there for a long time, basking in the afterglow of their lovemaking. The rain had stopped outside, and the room was filled with the soft sound of their breathing and the distant hum of Paris.

Adil could feel Aishwarya's heart beating against his chest, strong and steady. He knew that he would never let her go, that he would spend the rest of his life loving her like this.

As Aishwarya was exhausted, She fell asleep, Adil just lay beside her and gently stroked her hairs as she fell asleep. After that Adil stood up picked up his underwear and went outside the room.
