Lumina remained seated in the cold dungeon chamber, her blind eyes turned forward. Stella stood by her side, alert and protective, though the silence pressed on them like a weight.
Just then footsteps approached, and Lumina already figured out who it was going to be after all they hadn't shown up in days after her ordeal with his mother.
Just then Adam appeared in front of the cell.
"Your Highness, welcome," Stella let out, bowing her head out of forced respect.
Lumina lifted her face slightly. "Why have you come? Have you come now to finish the job you started? Why exactly are you here?" Adam didn't miss the annoyance in her voice as she spoke to him.
Adam leaned against the bars, amused by her calm presence. "Well, I am happy to tell you this. Even after all this, your husband hasn't shown up."
Lumina smirked and rose to her feet. "He hasn't shown up… or you have done something to hide him from the world."
