The Underworld Monarch truly lived up to his reputation as one of the Two Heavenly Kings of the Holy Spirit Cult. Back in the day, he had dared to seek vengeance against Shrek Academy single-handedly. Now, he brazenly intruded into the battlefield where Bai Xu stood, right under the watchful eyes of the Federation's officials—seemingly targeting the young man before him.

"You're even closer than that Tang Sect Master…" Ha Luosa muttered, sensing the aura radiating from Bai Xu. His earlier disdain had vanished, replaced by wariness. He strongly suspected that, were it not for the suppression of the plane's laws, Bai Xu might have already ascended to godhood.

"It's him…" Long Yeyue, the Light Dark Douluo, sighed softly from below the stage.

Back then, it had taken the combined efforts of three Limit Douluos to kill the Underworld Monarch. The annihilation had not just been physical—his soul had been utterly erased. Yet, against all expectations, the Underworld Monarch still lived.

Not long ago, he had even launched an attack against the Tang Sect Master in the Star Luo Empire. Had it not been for the Holy Spirit Douluo's attributes being his natural counter, he wouldn't have retreated so easily.

After a century of dormancy, no one could fathom just how powerful he had become.

And why had he specifically come for Bai Xu?

The Holy Spirit Douluo spoke up, "The Underworld Monarch has always sought a path to greater power. His reason for joining the Holy Spirit Cult seems to be that he glimpsed a way forward. Now, he's come for Bai Xu—likely to uncover the secrets within him."

"Defeating three Limit Douluos has taken a toll on Bai Xu. At the very least, the mystical glow around him has dimmed significantly. If he has to fight another Quasi-God… even if he wins, he'll be completely drained." The Amorous Douluo assessed, shooting Tang Wulin a meaningful glance.

Perhaps this would be their opportunity. The combat strength on Shrek's side was nothing to scoff at. Not only did they have the Light and Darkness Douluo, the Holy Spirit Douluo, and the Amorous Douluo, but before the final match of the martial arts tournament, Yuanen Yehui had reunited with her family—and the Yuanen Clan had since joined Shrek Academy.

More importantly… the Yuanen Clan's two Limit Douluos were also present!

That made a total of five Limit Douluos on their side—and that wasn't even counting the Emotionless Douluo, who had yet to return from the Blood God Legion.

The Tang Sect and Shrek Academy remained as unfathomable as ever!

As he spoke, two towering figures emerged from the shadows behind Tang Wulin. After nodding to the others, they too turned their solemn gazes upward to observe the battle raging in the skies.

Outskirts of Bright City.

Qi Changping asked, "How's the evacuation of Bright City's citizens progressing?"

"Chairman, nearly all have been evacuated. Thanks to your prior arrangements and the assistance of several Title Douluos and countless soul masters from the Federation, the process was swift. At this point, the only ones remaining in Bright City to witness the battle are at least Title Douluos…" His secretary reported, admiration growing for the chairman. It was as if he had foreseen today's battle and made preparations in advance.

"Good. What happened with Yun Ming must never be repeated… Notify the Federal Assembly that after today, we will sever all ties with the Spirit Pagoda. The Qiangu family… is finished."

"Chairman, several military legion commanders from the Federation are arriving. They've sensed the unusual battle today. Some of the most renowned Limit Douluos from the Central Legion and the Western Legion have already arrived."

"Fine, let them come. The Assembly has no authority over them. After all, they are Limit Douluos who've spent decades building their influence in the military—each with their own agendas." Qi Changping sighed helplessly.

The Federal Military was too weak… They couldn't command the various legions, which effectively operated as private armies under their respective commanders.

Perhaps this situation would change in the future.

Back to the Battle.

"What, cat got your tongue?" Ha Luosa taunted, watching as Bai Xu's expression grew increasingly frigid.

Bai Xu knew that the appearance of Ha Luosa—hailed as the Son of the Plane—was likely Tang Hao's doing, another attempt to wear him down.

"Heh. Since you're so eager to die first… I'll oblige you."

"Arrogant brat! Even at death's door, you still spout nonsense!"

Ha Luosa couldn't contain his fury at Bai Xu's audacity. He struck first, unleashing his Netherworld Reincarnation Domain. The surrounding gray world churned like boiling water as massive skeletal figures began to emerge—some draconic, others bestial, and a few resembling creatures of the sea.

But that wasn't all. Twelve Death Knights rose from the underworld soil, transforming the Underworld Monarch into a commander of an undead legion. Ha Luosa then drew his weapon—Lament of the Netherworld.

Lament of the Netherworld could harness the power of the underworld, merging it with his domain to amplify his strength. A single stab from it could transform a living being into an undead creature. Its most terrifying ability, Hundred Pierces, could supposedly penetrate even the defenses of a hundred-ranked deity.

Bai Xu raised a finger like a sword, standing his ground. Softly, he uttered, "Great Five Elements Annihilation Divine Light."

This time, it wasn't the five-colored suns of green, red, yellow, white, and black—but a singular, radiant orb of blended hues. The mystical glow around Bai Xu separated from his body once more, illuminating the world.

The gray domain shattered instantly under the divine light's brilliance, its radiance piercing through the ages.

The surging tide of death disintegrated under the light's touch. Even Ha Luosa's prized Twelve Death Knights couldn't withstand it—they writhed for mere seconds before dissolving into wisps of smoke, scattered by the wind.

"What?!" The Underworld Monarch hastily raised his sleeves, channeling soul power to shield himself as he retreated from the five-colored sun. The divine light carried an aura of absolute annihilation, capable of eroding even his protective soul power—an utterly terrifying force.

A glance downward revealed that several buildings in Bright City had already vanished where the light touched them. Even the soul barrier around the grand stadium was melting away. The Title Douluos who had been spectating in peace hadn't expected to be caught in the crossfire. Fortunately, they managed to flee the city before their soul power was exhausted.

Now, the only ones left to witness the battle in Bright City… were at least Super Douluos.

As the divine light faded, the five-colored sun condensed back into the faint glow around Bai Xu—now so dim it was nearly transparent.

Hum!

A spatial disturbance suddenly rippled through the battlefield. The Underworld Monarch, still mid-retreat, barely had time to raise his sword defensively before Bai Xu's fist—packed with force enough to collapse space—slammed into him.

Boom!

Another spatial rift tore open.

Bai Xu gave no quarter, relentlessly suppressing the Underworld Monarch. Despite wielding the legendary Lament of the Netherworld, Ha Luosa couldn't even find an opening to strike. It was unbelievable that Bai Xu, in his current state, could still dominate a Quasi-God…

His physical prowess seemed utterly invincible.

But then—

A burst of gray light erupted from Ha Luosa as his battle armor flared, the oppressive energy forcing Bai Xu back and disrupting his assault.

In the next instant, Lament of the Netherworld shot forward like a streak of gray lightning—aimed straight for Bai Xu's heart.

Shhk!

The blade pierced flesh—but not his chest. Bai Xu twisted, letting the weapon embed itself in his arm instead. With a thunderous kick, he sent Ha Luosa flying, the sword ripped from his grip and left lodged in Bai Xu's flesh.

"It's over. Once pierced by Lament of the Netherworld, you'll become one of my undead!"

A strange sensation spread from the wound as gray energy crept through Bai Xu's body, attempting to seize control. But the glow of his internal organs flared in response, the concept of Samsara manifesting within him and grinding the invasive energy to nothing.

Expressionless, Bai Xu pulled the sword free and crushed it in his grip. The Five Elements Cycle annihilated the divine weapon Ha Luosa had spent countless years forging with his cultivation.

Then, the last remnants of his five-colored glow enveloped the wound—healing it instantly.

The Five Elements Cauldron materialized once more, its maw aimed at the Underworld Monarch. Ha Luosa, now disheveled and stunned by the destruction of his weapon, stared in disbelief. Bai Xu's body defied all logic—even the Netherworld's corruption couldn't taint him!

"Seal!"

With Bai Xu's whisper, the cauldron's mouth expanded, its interior swirling with the same five-colored radiance. A terrifying suction force locked onto Ha Luosa, as if the cauldron sought to devour and refine him whole.
