Naruto and the others weren't in a big hurry to get there.
Even though they were running like ninjas, they kept a steady pace, looking like they weren't too worried.
It took them two days
to get from Konoha Village to the border of the Land of Fire and the Land of Rivers.
But Naruto still didn't want to move forward. Instead, he took Hinata and Ino to rest for a night in a nearby small town before setting off again the next day.
Hinata and Ino were confused, but since Naruto was the leader, they didn't question him.
Maybe the Sand Village isn't in a rush after all?
As if to answer their guess, the Sand Village wasn't actually rushing at this time.
While Naruto and his team were rushing over,
the Fifth Kazekage, Maki, used a secret skill to seal the One-Tail inside himself, successfully saving the people of the Sand Village.
This situation surprised everyone, including Naruto!
After finally arriving at the Sand Village, they were told that the One-Tail had already been sealed, and they were too late!
"That's what happened. Even though you're late, we still appreciate you coming!" Kankuro said the words of thanks, but his tone didn't have much gratitude.
Naruto didn't care about Kankuro's tone. He was just confused about what kind of secret skill a high-level ninja who was good at wind-style jutsu could use to seal the One-Tail?
Even if the One-Tail wasn't that strong, it was still at the level of a Kage. What did Maki, a high-level ninja, have to rely on?
He thought something was strange, but he didn't want to look into it too deeply.
His main purpose in coming here was to solve the Sand Village's problem and fulfill his promise to Tsunade. Now that the mission was complete, that was enough.
"If that's the case, we'll go back. But before we go back, I want to see Granny Chiyo," Naruto said.
"Granny Chiyo?"
Kankuro didn't want to, but considering Naruto's strength, he went to report it.
Soon, Granny Chiyo, who had been forced to come out of retirement because of the One-Tail's attack on the village, arrived at the meeting room.
"What do you want from this old woman?" Granny Chiyo asked calmly, not showing much fear or respect for Naruto.
Unlike Kankuro, she didn't know much about Naruto. She only knew that he was strong and had killed Gaara, but she didn't know how strong he really was.
Naruto wasn't annoyed. He just smiled and played with the crow on his shoulder!
The next moment, one of the crow's blood-red eyes turned and met Granny Chiyo's eyes.
Before Granny Chiyo could react, her expression became blank.
Seeing that Granny Chiyo was under control, Naruto nodded with satisfaction.
Granny Chiyo knew the secret rebirth skill - the forbidden skill, Life Transfer Rebirth. If his plan failed, Granny Chiyo would be his last resort!
This was another reason why he came to the Sand Village!
"Come to Konoha and find me in a month!" Naruto said.
"Yes," Granny Chiyo replied expressionlessly.
Leaving the meeting room, Naruto snapped his fingers and released Kankuro and Karin from the illusion!
Just now, in the meeting room, Naruto had controlled Granny Chiyo in front of them. To keep this a secret, he had used an illusion to control everyone except Granny Chiyo when Kankuro brought her.
As for the crow, it was a ninja beast that Naruto had created using Chakra, imitating Uchiha Itachi. It was only used to store and use Shisui's Sharingan!
"What's this? I thought it was going to be a dangerous mission, but it was over when we got there!" Ino complained unhappily.
"What? Did you really want to fight a Tailed Beast? If you really want to, I can make it happen," Naruto joked when he heard Ino's words.
Ino looked at the ruins of the Sand Village that had been destroyed by the One-Tail and shook her head, "Isn't that what you're here for? I'm just here to help."
Naruto chuckled and didn't tease Ino anymore.
"Naruto, are we going back now?" Hinata asked.
"Yeah, let's go back now," Naruto nodded.
The Sand Village barely had any houses left in good shape. Even if he wanted to stay here for a day, there was nothing to do.
Besides, he had basically completed his purpose in coming to the Sand Village. There was no point in staying here.
It was better to go back to the village and learn ninjutsu from Tsunade.
They returned much faster than they had come. They basically didn't stop or delay along the way. It only took them a day to get back to Konoha!
Back in Konoha Village, Ino's face was full of disappointment.
This was the most boring mission she had ever done, but when she got millions of Ryo as a reward, she smiled again.
The mission was boring, but the reward was great!
She had just gone out for a few days, completed a mission, and got such a big reward!
If she could, she hoped there would be more missions like this!
After receiving the reward, Naruto dismissed Karin and the others and went back to the Hokage's office.
When Tsunade saw Naruto come back, she put down her busy work.
"I didn't expect the Sand Village to be able to solve such a problem on their own. It seems the Sand Village has a good base. That Fifth Kazekage, Maki, must be very strong!" Tsunade muttered to herself.
Naruto wasn't interested in the Sand Village or Maki, and didn't interrupt Tsunade. "When are you going to teach me the Yin Seal and the Hundred Healings Technique?"
Tsunade rolled her eyes and pointed to the pile of scrolls in front of her. "After I get off work!"
"..."
When will that be?
"Then I'll wait for you here."
Naruto was worried that if he left, the number of scrolls on Tsunade's desk would increase rather than decrease, so he decided to stay and wait for her.
But even so, he still couldn't stop the scrolls from increasing!
Fortunately, Tsunade was a person who kept her promises. She just finished the pile of mission scrolls she had and ran off with Naruto.
As for the new pile of mission scrolls, Tsunade naturally left them for Shizune to handle.
"Won't Shizune quit if you do this?" Naruto complained as he watched Tsunade happily skip out of work.
"She won't, don't worry!"
Tsunade didn't care, "More than that, I think we should go find a bar to drink!"
"Aren't you going to teach me ninjutsu?"
"Drink first! Drink first! I'll teach you after we drink!"
After saying that, Tsunade ignored Naruto's opinion, put her arm around Naruto's shoulder, and dragged him into the nearest bar.
