Sabuko woke up in his parents' house.
The physician said it was mild chakra depletion and sleep exhaustion. He was advised to avoid jutsu or chakra-heavy tasks for a few days.
Sabuko didn't argue. He slept for two more days straight.
'Welp... Guess I'm not Naruto, after all.'
Once he was recovered enough to walk, he came face to face with his father.
"Sabuko. Sit here," his father said, remaining seated at the table in the living room, his mother beside him with a worried expression.
'...Serious talk incoming,' Sabuko thought as he sat at the opposite end of the table, facing them.
"Sabuko. First—how are you feeling?" his father asked, folding his arms. His voice was rough and flat.
"I'm feeling fine, Father. Thank you," Sabuko said, offering a small bow.
"Good. You worried your mother."
"I know," Sabuko replied immediately. "I apologize. I wanted to train really hard, so I asked Takos for help to make sure I got the Bunshin no Jutsu right."
"...Very well. Leave that matter aside for now. We're proud that you passed."
'Takos might be a prick, but it's a good thing he told me how to interact with Sabuko's dad. A guy who acts all formal to his son who just collapsed. I dislike him already.'
"Thank you, Father," he nodded.
'He's an important businessman who values etiquette. Takos said I was always polite and formal with my parents. Especially my father.'
"Another matter," His father cleared his throat, "At your graduation... why did you go talk to that... boy? We told you to stay away from him."
"I was tired that day, Father. Too tired to make any reasonable judgment. When I was in that state and saw him all alone, I thought... just what did he do to deserve that?"
His mother blinked at him; her eyes softening.
"You were tired, not a moron. I never raised you to not think straight." His father said, "It was unsightly."
'Unsightly,' He internally scoffed, 'Talking to a kid that was all alone is Unsightly now, old man?'
He took a breath.
'Relax. All the villagers were cold like that when it came to Naruto. And this is my father. I should play it right with him to live a life of luxury.'
"That boy is a bad influence," His father continued, "A ruffian. A troublemaker who doesn't take things seriously and just wants to fool around. That is why I, and every parent, want their children to stay far away from him."
Sabuko's hand twitched.
"Odd, Father."
"...What is?" he asked.
His mother raised her head, surprised by Sabuko's tone.
"When I broke the vase over there a few years ago... you beat me."
'According to Takos, at least.'
She flinched at the memory, looking away.
"Right. You had to be disciplined so you wouldn't do it again."
'Fucking retarded piece of shit... Tsk... Calm down... Calm down... He's not worth it. Life of luxury, remember...'
Sabuko cracked his neck momentarily before straightening again.
"Right," Sabuko said with an exhale. "When you do bad things, you get disciplined. But grown-ups would still hate him even if he did try his best. Why's that?"
"..."
"Because we all know that deep inside, he's just a good-for-nothing monster."
"Monster, huh? What an odd thing to say, Father—"
"ENOUGH. You will stay away from him, and that is FINAL. Are we clear? He's a monster through and through. I don't want him infecting you—you, who's destined for greatness."
"..."
Sabuko took a breath. "Yes, Father. I understand."
"Good." His father leaned back in the chair with a sharp sigh. "Tsk. How could Iruka-sensei pass that lowlife Naruto…"
"Dear…" his wife said gently, trying to soothe him.
'...YES.' Sabuko clenched his fist, a surge of excitement shooting through him.
'If he passed, that means we're past the point he learned the Kage Bunshin from that scroll. I can learn it from him. All I have to do is find him.'
The chair creaked as Sabuko stood up from it.
'Thank fuck this is over... I almost lost it.'
"Alright, good night father."
"One last thing," his father added just as Sabuko stood up.
Sabuko stopped just before heading into his room.
"I've told you before, but you can't join a Genin team."
"... What?" Sabuko flinched, "Why? I'll be a Genin, and work for you."
His slammed his fist down on the table.
"You dare making a fool out of me, boy?!" His father stood up abruptly, facing him fully.
"Ninjas are useless grunts that die like flies all the time. You WILL NOT be a shinobi."
Sabuko clenched his fist.
'I fucking hate this fucker's attitude, but he's right. It's a hard life...' His fist unwound slowly.
'Besides, I could just study these techniques while I'm working at his company and living a life of—'
"I will NOT let a shinobi live under MY roof!" His father continued.
'Yeah, yeah...' Sabuko sighed internally.
"You go ANYWHERE near them, I'll kick you out!"
'!!!!!!!!' Sabuko's whole body tightened.
"H-... Honey, that's enough..!" His wife said softly, "Sabuko knows that!"
"FUCK YOU, OLD MAN!" Sabuko shouted, startling both of them.
"What did you just—"
"!!!" Sabuko's father stopped as he looked into Sabuko's eyes. How wide they were. Like a cat glaring at an enemy.
"YOU WON'T KICK ME OUT, YOU PIECE OF SHIT. I'M KICKING MYSELF OUT! FUCK YOU! FUCK BOTH OF YOU!!!"
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME, YOU LITTLE—"
Sabuko stepped back, sweat turning cold against his skin as he saw his father's wrathful expression.
It then turned to a blur, he ran into his room, got a handful of spare clothes and immediately jumped out the window, panting and breathless, underwear and socks falling out as he ran away.
"YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, YOU HEAR ME YOU LITTLE BASTARD!? WE'LL MAKE ANOTHER BOY THAT WON'T BE A FAILURE LIKE YOU!!! YOU ARE DISOWNED FROM THIS MOMENT FORWARDS, YOU HEAR!!?" His father yelled.
'Good...!! Good..!!' Sabuko clenched his teeth as he ran into the night, 'You're a piece of shit who thinks beating your child is "education" Over an accident. I don't need your support. I'll use Kage Bunshin and make myself new parents that love me.'
Sabuko looked behind as he heard then, a feminine scream, calling his name.
And to come back.
'... Sabuko's mom.' He started to walk slower.
Pausing momentarily.
'Whoever you are, you bitch... I'm learning Kage Bunshin and Transformation just to make myself cum. The moment you'll know of this, you'll disown me harder than that piece of shit.'
He flinched.
'No sane parent would ever accept someone like me. This is for the best.'
He looked at the lit village, the stars covering the sky.
'Well. Time to see where Takos lives.'
