First person POV:
I felt like someone had replaced the blood in my body with acid and stabbed all over me with sharp needles.
That wasn't all though.I was experiencing the memories of Russel again.No, this time it wasn't a memory.It was as if someone turned on a movie in my mind starring Russel von Eldritch as the main character showing all the events that happened in his life starting from his birth.
And I had to say, the kid was lucky.
He was born as the youngest child of Damian and Anna Eldritch. CEO and Founder of Avalon Real Estate.A small but thriving real estate company.He was born with loving parents and a caring elder brother and sister.
All in all, Life was good to him.
Until the incident happened that is.
It all started innocently enough, Russel asking his mother if he could go to the park with his friend from school.His mother agreeing on the condition that she and the other boy's mother would be there to supervise. And his sister tagging along because she was bored.
That was supposed to be it an innocent playdate between two kids that should hardly take an hour and a half.And that's all that happened.
The problem occurred when they were coming back home.When they were kidnapped by some people hired by a business rival of his father who was afraid of Avalon's rapid growth.
They took them to an abandoned warehouse of sorts and called Russel's father telling him to know his place and give a ransom if he ever wanted to see his family again.
In all honesty, the rival had only hired them to give Russel's father a small warning.Just a small kidnapping, giving him a warning and letting them go after a few hours.
Nothing about a ransom.And definitely nothing about was going to happen next.
Apparently, the leader of the men hired had a personal vendetta against Russel's father.
That was why he did it.
That was why he tied a 10-year old child.
That was why he raped his mother in front of him.
That was why he made someone slash him with a rusted knife every time he made a sound.
Suddenly everything shifted to first person.
"Scream for me you Bitch"The man said.
"Hahah, What would your husband say if he saw you now." He said while looking at Anna's bruised body.
Her body was marked with cuts and burns.
The man tortured her.
He used his hands, knives, tasers... even going as far to use acid.
She wasn't breathing.
Her heart wasn't beating.
She was dead.
Her eyes were dead.
Her beliefs were dead.
Her dignity was dead.
Her hope was dead.
That day they didn't just kill a woman.
They killed everything she was, everything she stood for and everything she believed in.
"Oi, see your mother you dumb bitch? Well, its your turn next." The man turned towards said smiling cruelly.
"Quite a beauty you are, even more than your mother. I will enjoy you."
'No, Don't touch her.'
Russel's mind was screaming yet outwardly he was silent.
He was too scared to speak. During the torture of his mother, every time he made even the slightest of noise they would cut his back with a rusted knife.
If he dared to speak they would pierce his skin with a molten needle.
Sometimes, they would do it for fun. And when he made a sound from the pain, they would do it again.
Russel so desperately wanted to wake up from this hellish nightmare.
He wanted to wake up, hug his parents, tell them he had a nightmare and cry.
He wanted to hear his parents console him and say it was just a dream. He wanted his older siblings to tease him for crying over a dream.
He wanted to go home.
No, actually he just wanted to go anywhere but here.
But alas, this was his reality.
"You know, I'm going to make you pay for killing my mother like that."
A voice said. Aria. His big sister.
Her voice was calm, measured and steady. And without a hint of fear.
Russel didn't know if she was hiding it or genuinely wasn't afraid.
"Pray tell me, how are you going to do that when you're in front of me tied, naked and is about to become a tool for my pleasure." The man asked amused.
"You'll see." Aria replied" And didn't your mother teach you to not call women tools?"
A few birds suddenly broke through the window and started flying around.
The man called out to one of his gang members.
"Why the fuck are you just standing there? Kill the fuckin birds."
The gang member took out his gun and attempted to shoot one of the birds.
He missed. And laughably, comedically, comically hit the rope holding a chandelier to the ceiling.
The rope broke and the chandelier fell down on the leader, barely avoiding Aria.
Just a moment before, police officers rushed into the room holding guns and pointing them at gang members.
But the sound of the chandelier suprised one of the officers, which made him accidently shoot and kill a gang member.
What followed was a shootout between the gang members.
In the middle of the chaos, Aria approached Russel with what seemed like a satisfied smile.
"Hey. I have to do this quick, a bullet will hit me in 17 seconds." Aria said.
"Wait, what do you mean a bul-"
"Shhh. You will inherit my legacy Russel. I'm sorry you don't have a choice to decline."

A blue system panel appeared in front of Russel.
