The atmosphere gets sensationally tense the moment Heidi moves. Morgan feels it before he sees it. The bond tightens like a wire pulled too fast, the room suddenly gets too small, too warm, and too aware of every breath. Grayson stiffens beside him, which only makes Morgan grind his molars harder.
