Chapter 121 - Chapter 119: I haven't even started writing yet, why are you admitting it?

In the early morning hours,as Hogwarts Castle in the distance plunged into darkness, the Forbidden Forest suddenly became bustling.

Not only did the witches originally stationed there pour out, but a considerable number of reinforcements also appeared...

Two hours later.

Nurmengard.

Grindelwald sat at his desk, quietly gazing at the three small orbs on his desk.

These orbs were all made of fairy metal.

According to the information Anne had sent back,it was only during tonight's expedition that they discovered how to find this magical power in the ruins.

This magical power was encased in fairy metal.

This was why their previous searches had yielded nothing.

Anne wrote in her notebook that although they had found the correct method tonight, they had only found a large mass of magical power, which they divided among themselves to absorb.

Because Levitra and Tom were present at the time, she had to absorb it all, and she felt a noticeable increase in strength...

However, although they had discovered the correct method tonight, they had not found the same metal orbs elsewhere, only some manuscripts.

Unable to find any more magical powers, they returned together, planning to search more slowly later.

As for the manuscripts, Anne said she had secretly used a duplication spell to create a copy while Wade and the others weren't paying attention.

She would bring them back to Nurmengard during the Christmas holidays...

Upon receiving the news, Grindelwald mobilized a massive Wiccan force that very night, deep into the Forbidden Forest.

Following Anne's intelligence, he re-searched the locations!

However, while they found many manuscripts, only three copies of that magical power were found among so many ruins...

This undoubtedly left Grindelwald feeling very dissatisfied.

However, judging by the remaining manuscripts, most of the power had been collected by Professor Morgana and stored somewhere...

Only these three copies remained... or should I say four, one of which was shared by Wade and the other three.

"So, if I find the location mentioned in Morgana's manuscript... we can find all the remaining magical powers!"

Grindelwald's mood finally eased a little at this thought.

After all this searching, there's finally a glimmer of progress...and this slight improvement is thanks to that little Levid.

He's the one who discovered the method to find this magical power!

Could it be that this child has a positive impact on him and his great cause?

Grindelwald's heart burned with a burning desire.

"No matter what, we must bring those two children into our fold!"

Resolved, Grindelwald took out the Elder Wand and gently tapped a small ball on the table.

"Poof!"

Like a bubble being popped, a ball of rich, dark-red magic wafted into the air.

"This is..." Grindelwald's eyes flashed with surprise.

He could easily sense the immense power contained within...

With a flick of his wand, Grindelwald quickly absorbed the "residue"!

Grindelwald took a deep breath, then slowly opened his eyes, a look of satisfaction on his face.

"This is truly a valuable resource... It's a shame there's so little of it," Grindelwald said with some regret.

But those manuscripts are still there!

At least there's a clue!

If I could find the remaining magical power, or even find a way to generate it...then, in this world, no one could stop me from doing anything!

The remaining time at school flew by.

In a blink of an eye, it was the day before Christmas break.

It was noon.

Levitra and Tom were having lunch.

So far, everything was going smoothly.

Levitra seemed relaxed.

However, Tom seemed a little nervous about meeting his family.

Suddenly, Abraxas approached.

"Captain, Professor Dumbledore wants to see you and Tom.

He told you to meet him in his office after lunch."

Levitra turned to look at the teachers' table.

Sure enough, Dumbledore wasn't there.

Dumbledore rarely ate in the Great Hall.

He was incredibly busy.

This visit must have been something he had finally managed to find.

"Thank you, Abu."

After lunch, Levitra and Tom headed to Dumbledore's office.

"What do you think he wants to talk to us about?"

Tom asked.

"Since we didn't stay at school, of course he had to ask us where we were going to spend Christmas," Li Weide replied.

"Hmm... do you think he's found a place for us to stay?" Tom asked again.

"Possibly... but I think he'd be more interested in knowing why we don't want to stay at school for Christmas.

Logically, we'd be safer and less lonely."

Tom frowned and fell silent.

Before long, they arrived at Dumbledore's office.

"Knock, knock, knock," Levid knocked on the door.

Then Dumbledore's voice rang out from inside.

  "Come in,"

Levid and Tom exchanged a glance, then pushed the door open and stepped inside.

To their surprise, besides Dumbledore himself, there was also an old wizard in Dumbledore's office.

"Good day, Headmaster Dippet, Professor Dumbledore..."

  Levid quickly realized.

Tom then followed Levid's lead, greeting them.

"Haha, so you're one of our Hogwarts' young talents!" Headmaster Dippet laughed.

"I'm not worthy of the honor, Headmaster Dippet."

"Why shouldn't I be worthy of the honor?

Your mutual aid club has completely wiped out the corrupt atmosphere at Hogwarts in just a few months!

This is something I couldn't accomplish in all my years as Headmaster..." Headmaster Dippet said with a smile.

"We didn't do anything.

It was all thanks to your support, Headmaster.

You helped us withstand the pressure from those pure-blood families.

Otherwise..." "

Haha, it wasn't me, actually.

I didn't do anything.

The one who helped you withstand the pressure was your Professor Dumbledore, oh, the current Vice-Principal Dumbledore," Headmaster Dippet said with a smile.

"Armand... don't say that.

It was you who burned the letters from the pure-blood families like firewood that made me make up my mind," Dumbledore said politely.

"Okay... stop flattering me.

I know you have things to discuss. I'll be leaving now..." As Principal Dippet passed by Levander and Tom, he added, "Well done, boys." After

Dippet left, Dumbledore pulled over two chairs for Levander and Tom to sit down.

"Professor Dumbledore, why did you call us here?"

Tom asked directly, before Levander could even speak.

"Well... since you didn't choose to stay on campus, I wanted to tell you I found you a place to stay," Professor Dumbledore smiled.

"Are you buying a house?

How much?

Wade's rich, he can pay for it," Tom said. Levander couldn't help but glance at him.

What's this brat always thinking about my money for ?

Dumbledore didn't even ask for it! Why are you bringing this up?

You don't feel bad selling your father's land, do you?!

Relationships aren't about making money!

"It's a house left behind by an old friend of mine, and I own it now.

So, it's free," Dumbledore said with a wave of his hand.

"Since you're not staying on campus for the holidays, then move in."

"That's wonderful! Thank you very much, Professor Dumbledore, for finding us a place to stay despite your busy schedule," Levander said gratefully.

"It's nothing, just something I could do."

Dumbledore looked at Levander and Tom, his expression suddenly serious.

Levander and Tom knew Dumbledore was about to get to the point.

"I had assumed you'd be staying on campus for Christmas, and I was planning on letting you move into that house during the summer vacation... Can you tell me why you're not spending the holidays at Hogwarts?"

Levander was about to say he wanted to secretly visit Mrs. Cole or something.

But before he could say anything, Tom spoke again.

"It's my reason... I want to take advantage of the holidays to see my family... Wade is going with me."

Levander looked at Tom in surprise.

"I haven't even started to make up my story, and you're already admitting it?"

Based on his previous understanding of Tom,shouldn't Tom have said nothing and quietly gone to see the Gaunts?

Why was he now telling Dumbledore directly?

Dumbledore was also a little surprised.

"Have you found any clues about your family?"

"Yes... I had been searching for clues about my father's last name, Riddle, but I couldn't find it..."

"Then, Wade suggested that maybe I should try looking up my mother's last name..."

"I originally thought that since my mother died so miserable outside the orphanage, she might be a non-magical Muggle... So, I never looked it up before." "

But since I couldn't find my father's last name, I looked up my mother's last name in the library... Gaunt."

Dumbledore's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Gaunt... Your mother is a Gaunt."

"Professor, do you know the Gaunt family as well?"

Rivendell asked.

"Well, they should be descendants of Slytherin..." Dumbledore looked at Tom.

"I'm sorry, Tom, I should have asked Mrs. Cole about your mother's name.

If I had known earlier, you might have found your family sooner."

"Nothing..." Tom said calmly.

"So, you're planning to go to the Gaunt family together, right?"

Dumbledore asked again.

"Yes, is there a problem?"

Tom asked coldly.

"Well... I shouldn't have stopped you, but I heard the Gaunt family has a bad reputation.

If you rashly go there, you might be in danger..."

"Bad reputation?"

Tom asked with a frown.

"Yeah... When I was helping out at the Ministry of Magic, I talked to some old Aurors, and they mentioned the arrests of Slytherin descendants... because they often illegally cast spells on Muggles who strayed into their area!"

Tom's face turned a little grim when he heard this.

Dumbledore went on, "When I talked to them, I heard that old Gaunt... Marvolo Gaunt, was sentenced to six months in Azkaban for resisting arrest and attacking Ministry of Magic officials who came to his door."

"These six months ruined his health, and he died not long after returning.

So... you should have an uncle.

Given the Gaunt family's past reputation, and the fact that your mother would rather die at the door of the orphanage than go home... it is enough to prove that your uncle may not welcome you...

Although what I said may seem unpleasant to you, I still have to tell the truth... So, even so, do you still want to meet him?"

Tom was silent for a moment, then said, "I still want to go to the Gaunts' house."

Dumbledore looked at Tom silently for a long time, and after a while, his expression softened.

"I am very glad that you can tell me this, Tom... I think it is very good that you trust me. However... I think it is necessary for me to go with you."
