Chapter 147 - Chapter 145 Violating Hundreds of School Rules! Are You Gryffindor?

Soon, the professors were all rescued by Headmaster Dippert.

Professor Slughorn was shocked to see Livander and his two companions there.

Grindelwald had just been there!

What if he… the consequences were unimaginable!

Headmaster Dippert then instructed Professor Garrick to inform the Aurors, and then, along with the other professors, prepared to listen to Livander's account of what had happened that night.

Livander then recounted his prepared story to the professors.

It began with their accidental discovery of this magical power that could enhance their strength; then, the three of them meticulously investigated and finally discovered the hiding place of this magical power…and then, during their search for this power, they happened to encounter Grindelwald and his sorcerer party!

And Livander happened to be carrying a dung bomb, a sleeping potion created using a formula provided by Professor Slughorn.

So, while the professors were fighting Grindelwald, Li Wade, as agreed, remotely summoned his house-elf, instructing him to take a note back to the phoenix, who would then relay a message to Dumbledore and bring him back to Hogwarts.

During this time, he also used a drugged dung bomb to almost wipe out the entire group of sorcerers!

Then, he held out against Grindelwald until Dumbledore returned to Hogwarts…until Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald in a direct confrontation!

After Li Wade delivered his prepared explanation, the professors fell silent.

After a long pause, Headmaster Depp said, "Wade, have you… considered that the three of you broke at least a hundred school rules in the process?"

"I'm sorry… Headmaster Depp, it is indeed our fault… We are prepared to accept punishment…" Li Wade lowered his head with a look of guilt.

Tom also said, "I'm sorry… we were too eager for power… I… we couldn't resist the temptation…"

"Let's go back and pack our bags now…" Annie also turned to leave, looking dejected.

At this moment, the three of them were perfectly in sync, so Li Wade and Tom immediately followed with helpless and sorrowful expressions.

"What are you packing?"

Professor Slughorn asked loudly.

"We know we've broken hundreds of rules, so… expulsion is the only consequence…"

Anne said, her voice trembling with tears.

Professor Slughorn was alarmed.

"You've captured so many Slytherins!

And you even held out against a powerful dark wizard like Grindelwald until Professor Dumbledore's return!

That deserves a special award!

Compared to that, what does breaking a few rules matter?"

He quickly looked at Headmaster Dippert, "Armondo… I…"

"No need to say anything, Horace," Headmaster Dippert said.

"Although they did break many rules, their motives were very Slytherin-like, understandable, and… they did indeed perform a great service.

I'm not so senile as to expel Hogwarts' most talented student!"

The three of them showed a knowing smile.

However, Headmaster Dippert's face immediately hardened.

"Don't be so smug! You should be glad you've done something good, otherwise... Hmph! However, while you won't be expelled, you have indeed broken many school rules, so punishment is unavoidable!

Horace, their punishment is your responsibility..."

"Understood! Headmaster Dippert!"

Professor Slughorn laughed happily, even his large belly rippling.

Apart from Professor McGonagall, who was slightly dissatisfied, the other professors present had no objections.

Of course, Professor McGonagall's dissatisfaction wasn't about expelling them, but... Slytherin should at least lose three hundred points, right?

"Alright, let's go in and see if that so-called magical power really possesses such an irresistible allure as they claim."

Headmaster Dippert said, leading a group of professors into the secret chamber.

Anne watched the professors' retreating figures with regret.

Grindelwald was defeated, and all that magical power... she would never have another chance to obtain it.

Fortunately, she had secretly absorbed quite a bit beforehand…

As Professor Slughorn passed by the three of them, he smiled, patted Livander on the shoulder, and gave them a thumbs up.

Although the three of them had violated hundreds of school rules, their success in capturing so many members of the Witchcraft Party, and even their timely tip-off that allowed Dumbledore to return to Hogwarts, indirectly contributing to Grindelwald's failure, truly made him, the Headmaster of Slytherin, incredibly proud!

After entering the Chamber of Secrets, the professors were immediately shocked by the shocking traces of battle.

To create such extensive damage…it was unimaginable what kind of astonishing power those two individuals possessed!

The professors quickly gathered before the sphere made of goblin metal.

Watching them begin testing the magical power within the sphere, Livander said to Professor Slughorn,

"Teacher, we're very tired… can we go back and rest?

Can we talk about punishment tomorrow?"

He knew more about the contents of the sphere than anyone else; there was really nothing to see.

Moreover, he had used too much nightmare magic tonight, and was truly at his limit.

Although he was very curious whether Dumbledore could capture Grindelwald, he simply didn't have the energy to wait for news any longer…

"Don't mention punishment anymore."

Professor Slughorn glanced discreetly in Professor McGonagall's direction.

After confirming she hadn't heard, he continued, "I'll figure out how to handle your punishment… Hmm… you were definitely too frightened tonight.

Go to the university hospital for a checkup first, and stay there tonight."

"Uh…"

"Don't refuse!

That Grindelwald guy knows so much strange dark magic.

What if you're under some kind of dark magic and we can't detect it?

Listen to me!

Go to the university hospital for a checkup first!"

So, that evening, the three of them had to get checked out at the school hospital and then spend the night there…

None of them were seriously ill, so after drinking some calming potions, they fell into a deep sleep on their respective beds.

The moon hung high.

Dumbledore stood in the Forbidden Forest bathed in moonlight, sighing helplessly.

Grindelwald was indeed right; even though his strength was now inferior to Dumbledore's, if Dumbledore hadn't intended to kill him and tried to stop him, he wouldn't have been able to…

Sure enough… Grindelwald escaped, even taking a member of the Sorcerer Party with him…

After another sigh, Dumbledore, concerned for the school's safety, rushed back.

Shortly after he left, a ripple appeared in a large tree not far from where he had just been.

Then a layer of bark peeled off.

A pale-faced Grindelwald and Vita emerged from the tree hollow.

"I didn't expect… to lose so badly tonight…"

Grindelwald had thought that with his strength, even if Dumbledore returned, he could easily retreat.

But unexpectedly… Dumbledore's strength had increased so much, and he didn't know what had happened.

Caught off guard, Grindelwald even lost the Elder Wand…

Although he was unwilling to admit defeat and said he would get it back later, he knew how difficult that would be.

Dumbledore was already strong, and with the Elder Wand's amplification…

"Vita, we need to go into hiding for a while…" Grindelwald said dejectedly.

"Sir… we haven't lost yet.

At least, the operation on the side of the Magical Congress of America was very successful!"

Vita said, "We can secretly transfer the remaining forces to America in batches and then go into hiding.

We need to find a way to completely seize the power of the Magical Congress!"

"Okay… let's go back… as for Olive and the others, we need to find a way to rescue them.

But right now…"

"Please preserve our strength first… also, we need to go back quickly and transfer our forces!

Even if they have all been trained, we can't completely keep the secret while they are under an overdose of Veritaserum!"

Vita said urgently.

At this moment, Vita's eyes were full of gratitude. She knew very well that if Grindelwald hadn't pulled her away when he left, she might already be in Azkaban, like the other people who had fainted…

Azkaban… that was the most terrifying wizarding prison in the world…

When Dumbledore returned to Hogwarts, the Aurors were already there.

He ran into their leader at the door.

The leader was Newt's brother, Theseus Scamander.

"Dumbledore, did you capture Grindelwald?"

Theseus asked bluntly. Dumbledore shook his head regretfully, "Although I defeated him, but… he was determined to leave, and it was difficult for me to stop him."

"What a pity… if the Aurors had all been here tonight, they could definitely have kept him!" Theseus said regretfully, a hint of hatred flashing in his eyes.

"Don't say that, things happened suddenly, you arrived very quickly," Dumbledore quickly said.

"Alright, that's enough.

I need to get them all back first. We're sure we can get something valuable out of them!"

Theseus said, ordering the Aurors to load the unconscious Sorcerers onto the Thestrals.

After sending the Aurors away, Dumbledore returned to the Chamber of Secrets.

He saw Headmaster Dipper directing the other professors to seal the chamber.

"Armando, how are Wade and the others?"

Dumbledore asked anxiously.

"They went to the school hospital for a checkup.

If nothing unexpected happens, they should be asleep by now… After all that trouble, it's amazing these kids can handle it!" Headmaster Dipper said casually.

"I see…" Dumbledore sighed.

Dipper, seeing Dumbledore's expression, knew the outcome of his investigation.

"No need to sigh. If that person were so easy to catch, he wouldn't have caused such a stir in the entire European wizarding world.

However… because of Wade and his group's accidental actions, he's suffered a significant blow tonight! In my opinion, it won't be so easy for him and his sorcerer party to be as arrogant as before! Tonight, he left his most elite subordinates here…"

Hearing this, Dumbledore's previously heavy mood lightened somewhat.

Suddenly, as if remembering something, he wanted to speak.

"Alright, I know what you want to say. Although Wade and his group violated at least a hundred school rules, making them even more Gryffindor than Gryffindors themselves, but… I won't expel them.

I'm considering whether to award them a special contribution award."
