Chapter 151 - Chapter 149 Grindelwald: The People Will Remember Them

"Putting everything else aside, I think that old guy definitely won't listen to what you're saying."

Tom scoffed, "Even if what you're saying makes a little bit of sense, why should he listen to you?"

Li Weide laughed, "If I'm not mistaken, he's already been defeated.

Otherwise, it's impossible for him to have remained completely silent for so long.

So, if he wants to break the deadlock, he'll most likely listen to me."

Tom said, "If he's not making any moves, he's just recuperating, right?

After all, his own forces have suffered such a huge blow. If it were me, I'd also hide."

Li Weide smiled, "Even if he wants to recuperate, he has to show himself, otherwise, morale will collapse.

Now, those non-core members of the Wushi Party on the periphery... these people were originally Grindelwald's key people, the future of his own forces.

But now, even these people are starting to feel uneasy, and he hasn't shown up.

If he doesn't have some psychological problems, I'll wash my hair upside down!"

"That's not 100%..." Tom was still somewhat unconvinced.

"Tom, don't worry about it.

Even if he doesn't listen to me, what does it matter?

Even if I'm wrong, what does it matter?

I haven't lost anything anyway."

Li Weide waved his hand and said, "Besides, my plan has already been set up. Time will tell how effective it is."

In fact, those words were indeed spoken by Li Weide through Annie to Grindelwald.

Whether he listened or not, or whether Annie didn't even relay the message, wouldn't affect Li Weide at all!

Of course, if he listened to the advice and even did something good… then Li Weide would have gained something.

To get a world-renowned dark wizard to start doing good deeds, how many merit points would that take!

Thinking of merit points, Li Weide's initially cheerful mood immediately turned gloomy again.

He had arrested so many witches before, thinking he would definitely make a fortune and then directly upgrade the system.

But now… so much time has passed since it ended! Why hasn't this "money" been disbursed yet?

Li Weide was beginning to suspect that this damn system was broken, or that it had simply been withheld!

Looking at the 18,000+ merit points displayed on the system, Li Weide was seething with anger.

Tom wanted to say something, but seeing Li Weide's expression change, he knew the guy was angry about something again.

He quickly shut his mouth, afraid of becoming his punching bag again!

That evening, at the end-of-term banquet, neither Li Weide nor Tom saw Annie.

It wasn't until very late that they saw her returning to her dormitory in the common room.

"Do you think she told that old guy what you said?"

Tom asked.

"I don't know, but like I said, the pieces have been laid. We just press the button for the next round and wait and see. Why think so much?"

Li Weide said nonchalantly.

Tom didn't understand what Li Weide meant by the button for the next round, but he understood "wait and see. "

However, although Li Weide didn't care, Tom was very curious about what would happen next.

He wanted to know if Li Weide would be wrong this time!

Early the next morning, the students' suitcases appeared on their beds.

The house-elves had already emptied their cupboards.

After breakfast, everyone pushed their suitcases and boarded the Hogwarts Express, embarking on their journey home.

Livander and several core members of the mutual aid societies occupied a large carriage.

"After signing that document, we can't use magic during the holidays?"

Charlie said indignantly.

"I really don't understand! What if my magic gets rusty?"

"That document is only to prevent Muggle-born students, Charlie..." Livander chuckled.

"Why do you say that?"

Charlie asked, surprised.

"If you choose to practice magic in the wizarding community, the Ministry of Magic won't be able to tell," Livander explained.

"Is that so?"

Charlie turned to Henry and Alphad.

In fact, Alphad couldn't even control his own future marriage, so how could he possibly influence his sister's?

Henry closed his eyes, feeling only a bleak future.

"Alphad, you have to help me, it'll be good for you too! T

hink about it, you didn't want to stay at home, that's why you came to my house... What if your sister marries into this family... Then, when you come to my house again, what's the difference between that and staying at your own house?"

Hearing this, Alphad suddenly shuddered.

"You're right! Henry! We have to learn to resist!"

Henry asked with a look of delight, "So, do you have any good ideas?"

Alphad thought for a moment, "How about you cut yourself off!

I'll go back and tell my parents you're no good, and then..."

"You fucking... why don't you just cut yourself off!

Come on!

Let's cut each other off!

Then we won't be brothers anymore, we'll be sisters!"

The two started fighting.

Grace McClagan moved a little to the side with a look of disgust.

She looked at Li Weide and Tom and asked with some curiosity, "Where do you live?

Maybe we can arrange a time during the holidays to practice magic together or something!"

Li Weide and Tom both shook their heads.

Their address couldn't be revealed casually.

Tom said, "We're not planning to practice magic this holiday.

We have to strictly abide by the Ministry of Magic's rules."

Livid almost burst out laughing.

Although he knew Tom was saying this to refuse Grace's invitation, hearing the future Voldemort say he would abide by the Ministry of Magic's rules still felt strangely amusing.

 "I don't believe it!"

Grace pouted.

"The three of you can break hundreds of school rules at school, and you think you can abide by the Ministry of Magic's rules at home?"

Grace said, glancing at Annie beside her, then noticing her dejected expression. "Hmm?

Why haven't you said anything?"

"Nothing, just a little tired."

Annie forced a smile.

"Well… looks like this summer is going to be boring!" Grace said helplessly.

She had thought she could play with her classmates during the holidays, but it seemed everyone had their own things to do…especially that deadbeat Tom!

He could refuse if he wanted, but couldn't he at least come up with a better reason!

  Numontgard.

Grindelwald stared at the notebook in front of him, remaining silent for a long time.

He seemed oblivious even to the wax dripping from the candle beside him onto his hand.

"Sir?"

Vita looked at Grindelwald with concern.

"What is it, Vita?"

Grindelwald looked up, his eyes bloodshot, at Vita.

"Oliver and the others… they're going to be tried tonight…" Vita said hesitantly.

"Oh…" Grindelwald finished speaking, then continued looking down at his notebook without any further reaction.

Seeing Grindelwald's expression, Vita knew he probably didn't realize the gravity of the situation.

"Many countries' Ministries of Magic have sent representatives to serve as juries… many of these people have suffered at our hands before!

So… tonight, they might… might not have a good ending."

"Is that so?"

Grindelwald replied indifferently.

Vita sighed and decided to ask directly, "They might die, so should we take some action? Rescue them or something…"

Grindelwald finally looked up again, but Vita was surprised to find that although Grindelwald was listless and had bloodshot eyes, he seemed quite excited.

"Dumbledore will definitely be there.

We can't save anyone! Vita!"

"Does that mean… we shouldn't save them?"

Grindelwald was silent for a moment before saying, "The people will remember them."

"The people?

Who?"

Vita was a little confused.

"Revolutions always involve bloodshed…" Grindelwald said softly.

Vita sighed softly before saying, "I understand…"

She knew that those sorcerers were doomed after tonight's trial.

The evidence was irrefutable, and the jury was there with grudges…

But she couldn't blame Grindelwald for not helping them.

In the past, Grindelwald might have been able to try, but now…

Dumbledore's power had increased dramatically, and he also possessed the Elder Wand… They had no chance!

Whoever went to save them, would be left behind…

That was reality, however cruel…

Vita didn't actually feel sorry for those people; she was just relieved… because she had almost become one of those tried tonight.

After Vita left…

Grindelwald continued muttering to himself, staring at the notebook before him, "The more crimes I uncover... the better... the more poison I squeeze out, the safer I am... I'm sorry, but I will remember you..."

The next morning, Li Weide stretched and went to the dining table to eat breakfast.

Suddenly, he froze, because he discovered that his merit point balance had increased by a full 50,000 points!

Li Weide, who had turned off the system notification sound, had no idea what had happened.

It wasn't until he sat down at the table and saw the *Daily Prophet* that Toby had prepared for him: "

[...25 members of the Mughal Party have been sentenced.

Among them, 5 were sentenced to life imprisonment in Azkaban, and 20 were sentenced to 'The Kiss of the Dementors,' to be executed in Azkaban at 3:00 AM...]
