Junghoon jolted awake.
He immediately felt for the other side of the bed, feeling it cold.
The alpha sat up, a chill running down his spine. The moon shone brightly in the night sky, its light spilling into the room.
"Sweet?" he called, throwing off the covers.
No response.
Dread prickled down Junghoon's back as he hurriedly got out of bed. "Sweet?" he repeated, more urgently this time.
The wood creaked softly under his footsteps as he made his way into the sitting room. "Love?"
The alpha's eyes settled on Seungho, who was seated on a stool, drinking milk.
Sensing his gaze, the omega lifted his eyes. "I drink milk when I can't sleep, jerk."
Junghoon would have replied to the insult, but there was a more pressing matter. "Have you seen Jihoon?" he asked.
The other raised a brow. "He's not with you?"
The alpha clicked his tongue in annoyance. "I wouldn't be asking if that were the case."
